Chapter 5 Traumatic Life

Celine's POV:

I felt as if the ground was slipping away from my feet. There was so much chaos in the pack and almost everyone had come out of their houses to see me like a circus clown.

'She hurt us! This woman is vile, Celine. 'Belinay roared angrily.

My body was trembling and a cold shiver ran down my spine when a woman in her mid fifties gave me a hard look. It was as if she was judging me and then comparing me with her son.

"Why did you choose a maid? " She scoffed.

Alpha Tyrion took a sharp breath and touched her shoulder, " They made me do it. I didn't have any other way out of it, mom"

It was the old Luna and his mother. I quickly bowed my head at her. She rolled her eyes and ignored me like a flu.

"We should talk about it. I know there has to be a way out of it. "

The pack members growled and someone threw a stone at me. It hit me right on my forehead and blood seeped out of the wound. I closed my eyes and rubbed the ruptured skin to soothe the pain.

"How dare you trap Alpha Tyrion? " One of the women shouted from the crowd.

I tried to get away from the angry mob as quickly as I could but they had surrounded me like a prey. They wanted me dead. The pack considered me a wicked woman who had ruined their Alpha's life.

I caught another woman running towards me and wrapped my hands around my head to protect me from the hard blow.

"Silence! "

Alpha Tyrion roared and everyone went quiet. He made me stand behind him.

"If anybody tries to hurt her then I am going to put them on execution. Is that clear? " He shouted looking at everyone.

The crowd dispersed after murmuring and giving me dirty looks. I was still standing behind him like a scared child who knew no one in a strange place other than one person.

"There's going to be a serious pack meeting. " The Luna said, her eyes landing once on me.

Alpha Tyrion helplessly watched his mother leaving him and I saw how his jaw clenched when I touched his hand. His eyes had shifted to a yellow light again and he didn't look safe to be standing with.

"Go and show her the maids' chambers. " He commanded a young girl who bowed at him and then rolled her eyes when I gave her a smile.

She didn't say anything much but just continued to walk further into the palace. I was amazed by the beauty this place held because I had never seen such wealth in my entire life. No doubt they were the most powerful pack in the Northern areas. The chambers were small and filthy as I could many maids living together in a single room.

"Who's she? " one of them asked as she saw me standing by the door.

The other maid sighed, " You have no idea what this bi**h did. She literally trapped Alpha Tyrion and made him mark her. "

They gasped and before they could hurt me, the maid said, " And don't hurt her because Alpha has said so. "

They all lost their interest in me as soon as they got to know about Alpha's orders. I found a small corner in the room and sat down with my head hidden between my legs.

I never wanted hatred from my own mate. And he was here blaming me for everything I never did. How could I even attempt to do something so cruel?

Hours passed with me sitting there all by myself. No one tried to initiate a conversation with me or whatsoever. I was happy that at least in this pack there was no such bullying like mine.

"Alpha Tyrion asked for your presence in his meeting room. " I heard a maid say and the little sleep shrugged off my eyes.

'Maybe he wants to say sorry. 'Belinay mocked me.

But I knew if he was calling for me then it would bring another bad news. I mentally prepared myself for another shock or misery.

The meeting room was at the center of a huge corridor leading to various rooms. It had beautiful chandelier hanging above on the ceiling and the candles highlighted it's beauty even more. There were no sounds here. It was as if it was soundproof and no one could hear anything which was to be announced or discussed here.

I knocked at his door and saw that there were Luna, His Lover, and another middle aged man who was sitting with a very angry face. When they spotted me, the ambience of the room shifted to dark. I could feel the pure hatred seeping out of them as they watched me.

"For this trash?! " The middle aged man, who I thought was Alpha Jonathan shouted, pointing his finger at me.

"It was a deal. " Alpha Tyrion said.

Alpha Jonathan banged the table angrily, " I don't care what it was! You could have challenged the Alpha Council. But no. Instead, you brought back a maid claiming her as your mate. "

The old Luna was desperate to say something but Alpha Jonathan didn't give her any chance.

"Do you even know what you have done?! You nearly ruined my daughter's life. "

Ava began crying and her father hugged her. She hid her face in his chest.

"I will never ruin her life. She means the most to me. Like I said, once this deal is over I will mark Ava as my mate. " Alpha Tyrion said.

Alpha Jonathan shook his head, " That would be too late. You can't change anything now. Ava is pregnant and you have a marked mate! "

The room fell silent and I clutched my gown tightly in my fists. The Luna stood up from her chair and hugged Ava who didn't look at her at all.

"How's that possible, Ava? " Alpha Tyrion sounded so confused, " It was three months ago... I had been on visits all along till now. "

Ava wiped her face, " So, you think I am lying! It's your child. "

The Luna tried to calm her down but Ava was not having any of it. She ran to Alpha Tyrion but her father stopped her from hugging her.

"It doesn't matter now because I have already arranged her mating ceremony with Alpha Kristian. He knows the truth and he is happy to be my son in law. After all he is going to get my pack and soldiers. " He turned back, " You will never get the crown because of your betrayal. "

As Alpha Jonathan dragged Ava back with him, she cried for Alpha Tyrion who wanted to stop her too but couldn't.

"This is such a mess. " the old Luna said.

"I hate it! " Alpha Tyrion screamed.

I didn't know if I should stand there or leave him alone.

"Alpha... " I whispered.

He shot his head up at me.

"You want a child! How could I forget that? Even if I have to live without my own!! "

I cried, " I didn't mean to do this. Please, forgive me. "

I felt his hands wrapping around my neck, " You will never be forgiven. Never. Neither you are going to get anything from me. You're just a maid to me who will get my seed. "
