Chapter 2 TWO

Fira couldn't remember what happened when she woke up or how it even started, all she remembered was the pain and torment she was faced with the previous night. She was rummaged into by the man continuously through the night.

The man was like a beast that didn't have control over his thirst for blood, Fira slowly turned afraid to wake him up, his little breath and closed eyes indicated that he was asleep. Fira gently sat up on the bed and stood on her feet, her eyes fell on her engagement gown that was torn on the ground...

Fira sighed, she was supposed to be engaged to her mate now. That's right her mate! They must be searching for her all over the city, she stepped on the ground and hurried into the bathroom disregarding the pain she felt between her legs.

When Fira walked out again, she was dressed in a dark gown. Luckily there had been a gown kept in the bathroom and although it was not her size, it fitted her perfectly. Fira hurried towards the door, pushed the door open and rushed out of the room.

On the bed, Skyler who was sleeping finally turned and opened his eyes. His gaze fell on the door for a moment before he looked around the room, his eyes took notice of the earrings that were hanging on from the bed.

The earrings were made from silver and blue and color, which were intertwined as if they were spun together. He picked them up and a chuckle left his lips, he placed them on the bed side table and hurried into the bathroom.

After taking his bath, he came out once again all dressed and looking regal, today was his coronation as the alpha. "I will find you again, when I do, I will not let you leave my side." He muttered to no one in particular before walking out of the room.

When Fira got to her parents mansion, she prayed and hoped that the engagement was still going to hold. She didn't know how she ended up in the hotel, while the previous day was supposed to be the happiest day of her life.

Fira took in a deep breath before pushing the door of the mansion open, she forced a smile and braced herself before walking in.

"Isn't that Fira?"

"That disgusting girl is back?"

"She had the guts to run to her lover on her engagement day and now she's back like it's not a big deal."

"She disgusts me!"

Murmurs filled the room immediately Fira walked in, Fira was puzzled about what they were talking about but first of all she wanted to meet her mother because only her mother could help her talk to everyone.

"Aren't those love marks on her hands? She's so disgusting that she can't hide the fact that she's a whore?"

Fira frowned, she smiled when she noticed her mother walking towards her, she hurriedly made her way to her mother too. "Mother, thank goodness you came, I am so grateful. I don't know what's happeni......"

SLAP!

SLAP!!!

A Loud slap echoed throughout the room, with Fira's head turning sideways. Fira's eyes widened when she felt the sting on her cheeks, her eyes watered and they tried to fall down but she held back her tears.

"Mom!"

"Mrs Blackstone!"

"Flora!"

Their loud screams filled the room in surprise, Dina and her father quickly rushed down and held Flora(Dina and Fira's mother) back from giving out any more slap.

"Mom, why did you hit me so hard? It hurts" Fira questioned, blinking back the tears in her eyes.

"Why shouldn't I hit you? You shameless girl! You brought disgrace upon our family and now you come running back as if nothing happened?" Flora yelled gazing at Fira with hatred in her eyes.

"What do you mean mum? I brought disgrace to the family? When did all this happen?" Fira asked, puzzled by what her mum was accusing her of.

"Shut up! Don't you dare question me! You wanna pretend like you do not know right? What was yesterday? Your engagement right? Where were you all night? What weren't you in your engagement?"

"You weren't in your engagement the previous night and now you come bouncing back home in a completely different dress and smiling as if nothing had happened! Why!!!" Flora demanded, she pulled her hand out of Dina's and her husband's hold.

"I know yesterday was my engagement, do you think I would leave my engagement without giving any notice? Just so you know it's my engagement! I love Alan more than anyone here does! I would never leave my mate waiting!" Fira cried tears streaming down her face, this wasn't the result she had expected.

Dina clicked her tongue in anger. If she didn't end this then she would be exposed soon. "That's enough mum, sister, we can talk about this later. Why don't we let my sister go inside?" Dina questioned a forceful smile on her lips, she tried to pull her mum away.

"Let me go Dina! Oh so you can justify your actions now? Why don't you first of all justify those marks on your body?? Don't tell me you were raped because a raped person can't walk like you."

"Mom! How can you think so lowly of me? Aren't you the mum that loves and cares for me so much? Why are you so different today? You are jumping to conclusions." Fira remarked with a year filled face.

"Listen to you? I would never listen to you! You have brought disgrace to our family!" Flora yelled before walking out of there.

"Dad, Dina, what's wrong with mum? Why is she so angry with me? I haven't done anything wrong, please let me explain already." Fira remarked, stepping closer to them.

"Fira I am not one to get upset with you but what you did last night was very wrong. You disgraced us before the entire community and our friends who were invited. If you could not wait to meet your lover then you should have called off the engagement."

"I will go and console your mother now." Mr. Blackstone remarked and walked out. Fira slid to the ground, her body turning weak from the stress of things.

"What is wrong with everyone, someone explain why I am being hated." Fira muttered crying on the ground, her chest tightening in pain and suffocation.

While Fira was crying, she saw a shining shoe which intersected her gaze. She lifted up her head to stare at the man standing before her, her gaze lit up a bit. He would certainly listen to her.

"Alan, Thank God you came. I...."

"Fira Blackstone. Alan Walker rejects you as my mate now and forever Fira Blackstone. We are no more mates." Alan muttered coldly before walking out from there, he didn't even spare Fira one more gaze.

Fira felt her chest turning stuffy, her breath was thinning and tightening, her eyes lost the light that was in them. The tears in her eyes refused to flow, she stared into space aimlessly. Her life was over, everyone hated her now, no one wants her and then her gaze turned black and she blacked out.

"Somebody call the doctor!"
