Chapter 2 DANGEROUS DESIRES

"Who are you?"

He smirked as he tucked my stray hair behind my ear. "I am yours. . ."

I swallowed hard as I felt my wolf stir at his choice of words. Heat scattered from my stomach to the rest of my body and I knew that the rate at which I was burning was becoming dangerous.

"So why are you hesitating? Why are you holding back when you can just give in to me?" He whispered as he slowly started leaning closer to me.

The pounding of my heart grew even louder and I was almost deafened from the sounds but I stopped him so that I could speak first.

"The only way that you can be mine is if you're my mate," I muttered. "I don't feel the mate bond."

He smiled. "You'll feel it soon."

With that, he crashed his lips against mine and I froze at the sudden contact. I would have pushed him away had it felt disgusting and irritating.

Yet I did not because I was shocked by the fact that it was nothing of what I thought it would be.

The music seemed to get even slower as if he had commanded it so because it could not have been a coincidence.

He was warm against my lips and there was an emotion he evoked in me that no guy I had kissed, had ever caused before.

I felt all my defenses crumble down the moment he deepened the kiss and made it more sensual. My hands shot up to his neck and I realised that just as I was heating up, so was he.

His tongue found its way into my mouth and I felt the butterflies in my stomach all take flight at once.

His hands ran down my body and grabbed my butt. There was a sense of protection that came with his aura. He made me feel safe at the same time, I was constantly reminded of the danger lingering around his aura.

It was as if there was both danger and protection to his very existence.

I moaned against his lips and he pulled me even closer. Almost as if he wanted to kill even the tiniest of space that was between us.

He pushed me gently until he had me pinned against the wall with nowhere else to go. "Do you admit to wanting me, my darling?" He asked every so softly that I almost melted away.

"No," I immediately lied through my teeth.

He chuckled before moving his kisses to my neck. I hissed when I felt his tongue trailing down my chest.

Normally, I would have been bothered that he had not taken me somewhere more private, but I did not care. This place was private enough. It had no one straying close to the area and like I noticed earlier, the lights were dimmer here.

I suddenly felt his teeth close against my nipple and I gasped. He was gentle with the way he ground my nipple against his teeth before going back to sucking them.

My hands grabbed his hair instantly and he released a low moan, as if to warn me that I was provoking him to start something that I could not finish.

He lifted himself to his his full height again and pressed his body against mine. Then he brought his lips so close to mine that I thought he was going to kiss me again, when he stopped instead.

"Are you sure that you don't need me?" He asked in an amused tone as he watched me struggle to keep my breath even.

Hell! I wanted him inside of me. I wanted to run my hands over his naked body. I wanted to kiss every part of him but my pride stopped me from saying a word.

"No," I said weakly.

He smiled before kissing me for such a short period that he left me hungry. He bit and pulled on my lower lip before chuckling.

I was sure that he could see the hunger in my eyes but I continued to act unfazed.

"Maybe this will help you confess," he said as he held my gaze.

I tried to keep a straight face when I felt his left hand slowly and deliberately travel down my body until he went under my dress and placed it on my bare thigh.

The pit of my stomach began to burn and I felt more liquid exit my softness the moment I felt his hand beginning to travel up my thigh.

I shuddered and his smirk grew wider. "I can smell your desire. . ." He whispered.

This caught me offguard and I moaned. He instantly kissed me when I did, as if he wanted to swallow up my moan for himself.

I hissed and he released a low growl when two of his fingers found their way into my entrance.

He pulled away from my lips and examined my face. "How about now? Do you want me to stop?"

The question weighed on my shoulders as I gazed into his burning forest green eyes.

Damn! I was tired of holding back. I was tired of resisting. My wolf was growing exhausted from fighting me to give in.

So I looked him in his eyes. "No, I don't want you to stop," I whispered. "Make me yours."

It was as if he had been waiting forever to hear this. A dangerous glint took over his lust filled eyes as he used both his hands to find my panties and pulled it down.

I gasped at how fast he was. He was just about to lift me in his arms when my phone suddenly buzzed and started ringing in my dress' pocket.

"Shit!" I exclaimed as the influence of the alcohol started to clear.

I did not have to check my phone to know who was calling. It was my mom's lawyer. I was supposed to meet him after the funeral for important matters and I forgot all about it.

"I need to go," I stated and began to walk away.

He grabbed my hand. "Don't, stay," he muttered and it was more of a request than a command.

I looked into his eyes and saw the longing in them. I was almost swayed by them when my phone began to ring again.

"I'm sorry, I have to go!" I stated and yanked my hand free from his.

Then I broke into a run.

"Wait! You didn't tell me your name!" I heard him call.

"Neither did you," I answered and ran out the exit door.
