After eating breakfast, Duong Hinh Duyet went up to his room and lay down on the bed. Pho Dich Than cleaned up the dishes and when he got there, he saw her sleeping soundly. He got into bed next to her, holding her in his arms. The noise woke Duong Hinh Duyet up. "Did I wake you up?" "No, I'm done." "YES." "I see what I'm like inside. Does it still hurt?" The reason Pho Dich Than asked like that was because he saw her uncomfortable expression in the morning when she got out of bed, but because his mother came, Duong Hinh Duyet still had to suppress the pain as if nothing had happened.
