"No! No! All of that could not have happened" I said to myself, slapping my cheeks softly.

Russo was seated at the far end of the dinning room, man spread and with a small smile on his face.

I stared at him, a bit weirded out by his reaction but then he raised his head up.

"You didn't have to say all that. It sounded like you were negotiating business. I already know fully well, Sunshine" his eyes caught mine and this time, it felt like his gaze was holding mine with some sort of magical force.

"We will act like it never happened" those were his words but there was something about the way he said the words. Something that told me he didn't mean those words even a bit.
