He stared at Julie and looked at his watch as if he was getting late.

"Baby, try and listen to me. It's no longer going down well with me at all. We are living like strangers. This is not how husband and wife are supposed to live. In case you have forgotten, we are husband and wife and not like some boyfriend and girlfriend out there. Am getting tired of this issue." Julie said with her nicest voice, trying as much as possible to melt his heart.

"I get you but you need to understand how important this meeting is. And let me remind that this business is what made it possible to put good food in our table, for us to live in this good house. This same business you are trying to prevent me from attending is what made it possibly for me to afford your expensive cloths, your priceless jewels and the new Benz I bought for you a month ago." He said.

"Yeah, you made a valid point but of what use is all these things you mentioned without a family to enjoy them with? Jason, Is this how am going to get pregnant and fill our home with children, or aren't you bothered about that?

"Look honey, I quite understand your sentiments, but its not my fault that I found myself in this line of business. But you know what?" He said placing his hands on her shoulder while looking into her eyes. She thought he wanted to say something reasonable only to be disappointed as he says "Why don't you go upstairs, inside our room. Check the bed-side drawal, there are lots of cash there. it's all yours, just take it, go out there and buy anything you want. Go to shopping, take your friends out and do whatever you want to do with it. By the time you know it, the day will be utilized and I will come back and be with you."

"Just stop it Jason!" Julie yelled at him" "For God's sake, what kind of life have you succeeded in subduing me to? I don't want your money, I don't want to go any shopping. What I want is my husband, my family, I want to spend more time with you. We are together but we are practically living like strangers, can't you see it? We both know that I never wanted to marry you. I was forced to marry you. Now I'm trying to make it work and you are not helping matters. Don't you want to get me pregnant?" Julie asked as her eyes began to saturate with tears.

"Julie, how many times have I told you to stop bothering yourself with such? Our marriage is ways too tender for such worries" He said, triggering more anger to frustrated Julie. She couldn't believe he just said that.

"Listen honey," He said holding her on both arms before he continued and said. "You have to be patient. I assure you at the right time, God will bless us with children. Many couples normally stay for a long period before having children. I don't want this to be a problem to you." He said.

"Will you get your hand off me!" Julie yelled at him, pushing him off with anger. "Can you hear yourself? Listen to what you are vomiting from your mouth. Sometimes I wonder if you know the God you just mentioned because you are not a good man. It's obvious you don't love me. You love your family and business more than me!" She finished and stormed out of room.

"Baby!". He called her and she ignored him without looking back. He picked his phone and walked out of the house. He have more important issues to handle in his office.
