Chapter 4 I can remember!

Rosa had a headache, but she cared less. Her face was full of excitement, she had a smile since the first time she was there, she smiled from ear to ear.

She thought to herself ''oh, now she remembers what has happened, she will be free'' she grinned and chuckled. The thought of going home now seemed like a happy thing to her.

She didn't care about the rats. Now she was going to be going home and would be in her bathtub having a sweet bubble bath soon.

I remembered! Come open the door! I can explain! She yelled loudly, which made the veins in her neck pop out. She hasn't had a proper meal since she was kidnapped, so she looks ill.

Antonino went to clear some business deal went off when his secretary informed him that one of his men had called his line informing him about the girl he had taken hostage wanted to confess; he smirked.

So, she decided to confess. He couldn't leave work, so she had to wait for him to come back. He smiled to himself. He didn't know why he kept on smiling, so he hurried up with his business to go listen to her.

But when he got home, he was greeted by his father. His father, normally known as Mr. Capello.

Mr. Capello was not as friendly as his son The mere presence of his father, a colossus in the realm of business, cast Antonino in shadow, his triumphs and schemes paling in comparison. Mr. Capello, a man carved from stone, his countenance a mask of unyielding resolve, was a force of nature, his very breath a gale wind that could sweep away all in its path.

The mere thought of confiding in his father, of revealing the captive in the basement, sent a chill through his veins. Like the onset of winter, he knew his father's fury would freeze any hope of mercy, the captive's fate sealed in a tomb of cold, unfeeling stone and would kill anyone or anything that stood in his way of success.

His dad had rarely come to visit him since he passed on the business to him, Mr. Capello had been travelling round the world, so he was in town and decided to visit his only son. Antonino wasn't really close to his dad, but he always looked up to his dad for business advice.

Mr. Capello was in his sixties but looked more or less in his thirties. He was fit and handsome. He wore a white beard and a mustache which looked good on him.

Hey son, been waiting on you for like an hour, what have you been up to? Heard what happened to one of your factories? What went wrong? Do you have it under control, his dad asked.

Don't worry dad, I got it under control. He lied.

He shrugged, he hates it when his father tries to control or interrogate him.

Mr. Capello! The secretary called out.

What!! They both barked. It sounded like a thunderstorm and the secretary staggered, shocked with fear, but she is used to this already, but it still gets to her every time.

She tried to stand properly and cleared her throat 'hmm!' Mr. Oscar Capello Sir,

His dad shot a look of death at her. She didn't move, but she was speechless for a while. He was trying to inspire fear in the secretary. This was an old habit of his before he answered.

What!! He yelled, can't you see we are having a father and son conversation? What do you want from me? He shouted.

Antonino was happy his secretary came in, he wasn't in the right mind to talk with his father and he had just come back from an operation. He was tired and hungry.

With fear in her voice she answered, Sir, your flight is ready. She averted her look from Mr. Capello to Antonino, sir your meal is ready, and she will....

OK! That will be all, he yelled. Take my dad's luggage to the jet and he will follow suit...

Before she could say any more words, Antonino had shut her up and ordered her to take his dad's luggage. His father gave him questioning looks, but Antonino tries to remove his glare from his father and move to the dinner to eat.

Won't you come eat before going? He asked his dad.

Well, I would have loved to, but I think you need me out of your space and, besides, I have got some chicks to eat with rather than having a silent dinner with you. I would prefer a sexy one anyways, bye! see you when I get back, he said and stormed out of the house with excitement in his face.

Antonino smiled to himself. He had never seen his papa smile ever since his mum died. He was happy his father was having the best time of his life.

As he was eating, his mind suddenly went to his prisoner. Oh shit! He quickly rushed his meal and hurried down to the basement. He thought to himself, 'Well, at least he was going to get to the bottom of the matter once and for all'.

Dang!! The door flew open, and the sound woke rosa up.

I heard you have something for me. Are you ready to confess now? Antonino paused as he saw her reaction. She was smiling. He was puzzled at first and then thought to himself that maybe she had a little trick off her sleeve.

Well, will you unchain me first? Rosa asked, smiling awkwardly. NO! He answered," I don't trust you a bit, so what do you want to say? You had better say it now, or I will shoot you down. I don't have all day his facial expression went all straight up.

Rosa thought to herself," Well, it's better she goes off with her and is free". Her mystery man doesn't look like a gentleman at all. 'Hmm' she cleared her throat and started talking.

I think there must have been a misunderstanding somewhere. I am only in Venice to unwind and not to spy on you, she said innocently, not minding the stiff emotions around her. I was at your club that day because the driver said it was the best and, honestly, I wasn't following anyone's orders.

His men were already steaming with anger and felt stupid for listening to her plead to call their boss. One of them interrupted her.

Do well to tell us now, or I will kill you now. He took out his gun and cocked the trigger.

Shush!! Antonino said as he gave the staring dagger look that could pierce any flesh. I will do the talking. Let her finish, he snapped at his men. Now, Rosa continued, he told rosa.

Well, my name is Rosa. You can confirm it. Oh, I left my passport and other important things in my hotel room. I lodged at St. Finny hotel, room 208. You can go there and confirm it, she said rather clamly.

I saw you while dancing, she said, while she averted her face at Antonino and you look so good and handsome. I just wanted to talk to you and maybe sleep with you. She said shy and put her head down in shame and at the same time smiled.

Antonino couldn't hide his smile when he saw her smile in shame, so he ended up chuckling loudly but stopped when he noticed everyone was staring at him,

So, you are trying to tell me you were spying on me because you think I am handsome? He said rather harshly.

'Nonoo', she stammered," I didn't know who you were, and I am not a spy. I don't work with anybody and I didn't know somebody like you would be into drugs.

WHAT!! His eyes shook with distain, bloodshot in his eyes as he reached for his gun.
