Chapter 4 Episode 4

Amelia POV

I was just kind of not happy with what happened to me at my boss's office but another way I am pretty happy making my day a fifty-fifty emotional breakdown which I think would just occur in my life for some time and then love may come in.

I just sat gently in my sitting room thinking about every single thing that happened to me on the previous day as all the thoughts were walking through my head it immediately got stopped by the buzz my phone made giving me an alert of the call that came in.

" Good day Mr. Smith," I said immediately with a smile as if he was there sitting right opposite me.

" Seems you are much happier today dear daughter-in-law," he said immediately as he laughed through the cell phone.

" Kind of Sir," I said immediately attacking his unfinished statement.

" Don't call me sir you can just call me Father-in-law" Immediately I heard that I laughed hard through the phone as he also gave the same laughing vibes to me.

" Can you send in your account details so I can make the transfer?" Mr Smith immediately asked as he just cut short his laughter to me. Me hearing that statement made me fully happy already.

" I would send it to you sir through your mail right away Father-in-law," I said with a smile I just couldn't withhold within myself anymore the joy of me about to help my sick Father to recover himself back and stand fully on his feet.

" So how much are we talking about here if I Amy ask?" Mr Smith asked once more.

" Sir" I immediately paused ." I mean Father-in-law is a total sum of 50,000$" I said giving a little smile just to get what his next statement would be.

" Okay, I will send 60,000$ to you now " I quickly interrupted him not minding what he was about to say next. The amount he mentioned was out of this world. A lot of negative thoughts walked into my head.

" Sir but that much, " I said immediately as he cut me off that moment.

" No don't tell that much you can use the extra Change to get your mom something good same with yourself have you forgotten you must be as fresh as a Korean artist on your wedding day" Mr Smith said as he just chuckled over the phone.

" Am not sir as I said earlier am your Father in law. Gone are those days when you worked for me meanwhile I would just be waiting for your account info in my mail" Immediately after he said that he cut off the call I just looked at my phone so dumbly and no single word could come out of my mouth this time due to the over happiness I had. Immediately I got myself from the shock I just sent in my account info as he asked me to and in a short while it just looked as if he was already in his inbox waiting for my message to appear, in less than a few minutes I got an alert of the money he assured me.

" What the fuck? Hope am not daydreaming?" I said as I threw up my phone on the sofa and danced with a lot of joy within me not minding what I had to do to pay the money. I was so happy and excited as I just wore my clothes not minding how he looked on me and made my way to the hospital without a second thought.

I walked through the hospital hallway with a lot of confidence within me as I just smirked at everyone that my eye could luckily see at the hospital. I walked down to my dad's Ward I opened the door to see the nurses around my dad trying to put him in a wheelchair.

" What happening here? Why are you both with him like that ?" I asked like a boss lady all cause of the cash I saw in my account at that moment.

" They want to take your dad out of this Ward 'cause we haven't paid for the levy fee and another fee that comes up almost daily " my mom cried coming close to me as she just kept her head on my shoulder with tears dripping out of her eyes. I just didn't want to give my mom the good news cause of the nurses there who would witness the event.

" Mom please stop crying," I said taking her face away from my shoulder. Immediately she cleared her eyes and I walked up to the nurse who looked neat in their dress.

" Please where's the doctor so I can make the payment plus the surgery payment?" Immediately I asked about that I looked at my mom as she looked so flabbergasted by my words same with the nurses that glanced at me.

" Madam, are you sure about this?" The nurse's question just looked like a big insult to me I was a broke person before won't make me again.

" I don't understand you are kind of saying we aren't able to pay our bills anytime" I replied rudely.

" Sorry, matter you kind of took me wrongly" the nurse replied with a slight bow." Can you follow me?" She asked this time with a smile on her face. Immediately I followed her up to the receptionist's office where I made all the important payments immediately after another late levy. After doing all that I felt so relieved with that and so comfortable with what I just did.

" Amelia" I heard my name from a very familiar voice I could not forget at any time in my life as I turned around I found out it was my mom as I walked up to get I got a very big hug from her immediately which I looked so confused on what was happening to me.

" Mom, are you alright?" I asked politely as my mom just left the hug and stood looking at me with tears dripping down from her eyes.

" Mom, why this again?" I added as I tried cleaning up the tears that came out of my mom's eyes.

" You sold off yourself to get money for your father's treatment, " my mom said as she both cried and laughed at the e same time. This character she displayed wasn't anyone hat had ever seen perform in ever before in my life from my childhood to my adulthood.

" Mom" my mom held up my statement immediately making me just look shy at myself and blush within me.

" From today I stand to be a responsible mother and a heart-giving," my mom said as she just cleared up her eyes and gave me a heartwarming hug. As the hug process was going on the phone in my pocket made a buzz.

" Have to pick this Mom" I said trying to free up myself from another range of tight hugs.

" Mr Smith" I whispered as I picked up the call.

" Come to my house to pick up your wedding dress," Mr Smith said to me on the phone which gave me a change of mood.

" Sir with all due respect, am I not to be in a relationship with Bryan before we plan the marriage" I asked with anger in my tone.

" No relationship that number one rule I think I talked about that during the office..r Smith paused for a while as I just couldn't. I also have timed time more queries am expecting you now" The call ended.

" What is my life turning into? How can I get married to one I saw within an hour?" I said walking off my mom at the hospital with a frown on my face.
