Arriving at the house, Bianca slipped silently into the living room
"Good morning ma. I'll inform madam Campbell you're around." One of the maids greeted.
"No! It's fine. I'll go upstairs to see her myself. You can go back to what you were doing." Bianca said, feigning a smile.
She walked upstairs and heard some strange conversation. She was about to knock but she heard Lucas's name. She decided to eavesdrop to hear what they were discussing. She crept closer to the door which was not fully shut her breath held in anticipation. Suddenly, she heard voices. Her mother-in-law and brother-in-law were speaking in hushed tones, their words sharp and venomous. "We must get rid of him," her mother-in-law hissed. "He's a liability, a threat to our family. We can't let him continue like this." Bianca's blood ran cold as she realized what they were planning.
The conversation continued, their words growing more sinister with each passing moment. "That marriage was a mistake," her brother-in-law spat. "He only married her for her shares. He never loved her." Her mother-in-law nodded, a cruel smile twisting her lips. "Yes, and now his shares are even greater. But he will not get to enjoy them for long. We must act quickly before he realizes what we are planning." Bianca's heart thundered in her chest as she listened, her hands trembling with fear.
The sinister plot unfolded before Bianca's ears, each word like a nail in her coffin. "Yes, the military," her mother-in-law murmured. "It's the perfect solution. Lucas was always more suited for war than business. He won't even suspect that we're behind it. Let's make sure he gets called back and we can get rid of him there." Her brother-in-law nodded, his eyes gleaming with malice. "And once he's gone, we can take control of the company. It would be ours and we wouldn't have any worries. The company will be ours at last." Bianca's world was spinning, the revelation too much to process.
The plan grew darker and more diabolical with each passing moment. "One of us should marry Bianca," her brother-in-law suggested. "It will keep her from looking too deeply into Lucas's disappearance. And once the shares are ours, we can dispose of her as well." The mother-in-law smiled coldly. "Yes, that's perfect. And while Lucas is away in the military, we can arrange for an 'accident' to happen. A soldier-soldier fight which leads to an accident or an 'unfortunate' skirmish with the enemy."
Heart racing and blood pounding in her ears, Bianca turned and fled from the house, her steps heavy with fear and rage. She drove back home at full speed, her breath coming in as ragged gasps as she tried to make sense of the nightmare she had stumbled upon. "They're planning to kill him," she thought, her mind reeling. "They're planning to kill him and take everything from him." She knew she had to warn Lucas, to save him from the fate they had planned. But how could she reach him?
Bianca burst through the door, her face flushed and wild-eyed, her body trembling with adrenaline and fear. She ran straight to Lucas's room, pounding on the door. "Lucas! Lucas, it's me!" she cried, desperate to be heard. But when he opened the door, his face was a mask of cold indifference. "What do you want, Bianca?" he asked, his voice harsh and uncaring. "I'm busy." She grabbed his arm, her eyes pleading for him to listen. "You have to listen to me," she begged. "I heard them. Your mother and your brother.
With a grunt of irritation, Lucas pulled away from Bianca's grasp, his eyes blazing with anger. "Don't touch me, besides they aren't my family. They are my stepbrother and stepmom." he snarled, his voice cold and sharp. "And don't talk to me like you know anything about my family. You don't. You're an outsider, a stranger. You know nothing. You're just a mere roommate I'll get rid of when it's time." He stormed past her, slamming the door behind him. Bianca stumbled back, her face pale and shocked. He didn't believe her. He thought she was lying. She ran after him and held his arm.
"You would stay here and listen to me." She yelled at him and she rolled his eyes.
"What's your problem? What do you want? Why are you such a pain in the ass?" He yelled.
"I'm doing all these because of you. Because I love you so listen to me." Bianca screamed.
"You? You Bianca? You love me? You are nothing but a liar and a manipulator. You don't care about anyone but yourself. You treat everyone and everything like business and when they are no longer useful, you get rid of them." He yelled.
"Says the person who got married to me to gain more shares in his father's company," Bianca yelled. He raised his hand to hit her but he stopped midway.
"No! Finish it up. Add more to your CV. Hit me and become a full abusive husband." She folded her arms.
"I don't know what you're up to but I'm leaving." He turned to leave but Bianca blocked him.
"You won't leave. I won't let you leave. You are my husband. We are married and you must fulfil your duties as a husband." She informed.
He walked past he'd and got into his car. He zoomed off in a twinkle of an eye.
"Since this is how all of them want to play it. Two can play." She gave an evil smile and then walked back into the house.
"I'm going to make sure I ruin the Campbell's. I'll show them I'm Bianca Lionel. I'll ruin them all." Bianca clenched her fist as she cried.
"I'll ruin them all." She screamed.
