She got to the room where she stay with her mother and the woman sat up,seeing her torn dress "Adella!" the woman gasped, rushing to her side. "What happened? Are you hurt?" "I'm fine, mother," Adella said, trying to sound calm. "I just... I got into a bit of trouble." The woman's eyes filled with concern. "What kind of trouble?" she asked, her voice soft. "Tell me what happened, Adella." Adella took a deep breath, trying to steady her voice. "Tell me what happened" Selena requested "I almost lost my innocence mother" Adella said and Selena's eyes widened "A guard tried to rape me" Adella broke it down even more "Then??...." "A senior guard came over before he could have his way" Adella sniffs Selena sighed out and gave her a sign to come closer,Adella immediately joined her on the floor and hugged her tightly "I'm sorry child,it's all my fault" Selena said in tears "No,it's nobody's fault. I believe things will change" Adella said "I will keep on believing like you always say" Selena said "You're so strong, Adella," Selena said, her voice full of admiration. "You have such a pure heart, and I know you will get through this. I'm so proud of you." Adella couldn't help but smile through her tears. "Thank you, mother," she said, hugging Selena even tighter. "You're the best mother I could ever ask for." Selena held Adella close, feeling a rush of love and gratitude. "And you're the best daughter I could ever have," she said. "I know you'll get through this, and you'll come out even stronger." Adella took a deep breath, letting Selena's words sink in. She knew her mother was right she would get through this. She would come out stronger and more resilient than ever before. And she would do it for herself, and for her mother. As they sat there in each other's embrace, Selena spoke again. "You know," she said, her voice quiet but steady, "if you ever need to talk about what happened, I'm here for you. I'll always be here for you." Adella nodded, feeling a weight lift from her shoulders. She knew her mother was right talking about what had happened would be the first step towards healing. "Thank you, mother," she said. "I know I can always come to you for anything." Selena smiled, her heart full of love for her daughter. "And you can come to me for anything, not just this," she said. "You can come to me for anything your hopes, your dreams, your fears. I will always be here to listen and to help." "Thank you, mother," Adella said, her voice thick with emotion. "I don't know what I would do without you." "And I don't know what I would do without you," Selena said, her voice matching Adella's in emotion. "You are my everything, my sweet daughter." They hugged each other again, their hearts full of love and gratitude. Adella felt a deep sense of peace, knowing that no matter what happened, she would always have her mother by her side. ** Adella covered Selena well with the worn out blanket before she started sowing her torn dress,it's the only one she has,the slave uniform. It's just a short dress and it even worse because she had outgrown the dress and it's hardly covering her body,the kind of stares she receive from the guards every single day makes her feel uncomfortable but she has no choice right?? She sighed out and finally decided to talk to Marie who have been quiet all along,definitely she's angry with her. "Marietta?"Adella mind linked her "Puff.. What" Marie replied uninterestedly "You won't say anything? I'm hurt here" Adella said "Is that my fault?" Marie asked "Partially yes,you didn't even try to help" Adella replied "I was too tired to help Ella,just yesterday,we healed up countless of deep wounds,you know we are omegas and our healing ability is weak but I tried my best to make sure you have no scars on your body,I'm trying Ella you know that"Marie said and tears rolled down Adella's eyes Adella felt a pang of guilt as she heard Marie's words. She knew that Marie had worked hard to heal her, and that it must have been exhausting. But she couldn't help but feel a little hurt that Marie hadn't even attempted to help her during the attack. "I'm sorry," Adella said, her voice wavering. "I know you must be tired, but I just felt so scared and alone. I just needed someone to be there for me." Marietta sighed. "I'm sorry too," she said, her voice softer now. "I didn't mean to make you "'m sorry I'm too weak to save you" Marie said "It's fine,at least you clean up my scars,I have the nicest body" Adella smiled "I can't wait to find our mate,I have a feeling he's someone strong and great" Marie said "Are you sure? We are the same body and soul,so stop crying and let me rest,tomorrow is another day to heal up wounds" Marie said and Adella sighed "Fine,go on and rest" Adella muttered and cut off the mind link. With the mind link cut off, Adella was left alone with her thoughts. She felt a mix of emotions sadness, relief, and gratitude. She was glad to have Marietta in her life, even if they were sometimes different. They shared a bond that was unbreakable, a bond that would carry them through whatever challenges they faced. And right now, that bond was what Adella needed the most. She closed her eyes, willing herself to sleep. Tomorrow would be another day, and she would face it with Marietta by her side. She finished up the patching of her dress and also lay beside her mother on the cold floor. Normally,a complete human will never be able to survive what they go through every single day,but even though they are weaker than the other wolves,still they can't be compared to humans,they are strong on their own,but not strong enough for the title of their pack. Adella had always wondered what it would be like to be human, to live a normal life with no fear of attacks or training. But then she would remember her mother's words: "We are not human, and we can never be. We are something different, something special. We are omegas, and we have our own power. We may not be as strong as the alphas or the betas, but we have our own unique abilities." Those words always comforted Adella, reminding her that she was not less than anyone else, that she had value and purpose. She may not be the strongest or the most powerful, but she had her own special gifts. And that was enough for her.
