"John, it's him!"

Seeing Claud walk out, Deegan immediately shouted.

"You hit my man in my territory? You're quite arrogant." John held his cigarette in his mouth and raised his head.

"He deserves to be hit."

"Well, well." John spat out the cigarette butt, his face sullen. "You're still so arrogant till now? This is offending my dignity."

Claud looked up to the sky and laughed contemptuously. "Dignity? You think you deserve to talk about dignity?"

"Fuck!"

John was furious and grabbed a baseball bat.

"I was going to let you slide after paying me 5,000 dollars, but now I have changed my mind. You have to pay me the money, and I'll teach you a lesson.

"Get him!"

John gave the order, and a few hooligans rushed over.

Claud didn't even look at them. He punched them and sent them flying. Then he took the initiative to attack. Like a ghost, he shuttled through the crowd and easily knocked down dozens of hooligans.

John was dumbstruck.

His face was full of disbelief.

Frank was shocked as well.

The kids ran out of the Welfare Center and cheered.

Suddenly, John quivered.

"Claud Allston."

"You remember now?" Claud smiled.

"You... You didn't die!" John's face was deathly pale, as if he had seen a ghost.

"I was lucky enough to be saved by someone back then." Claud's expression suddenly turned cold. Then he shouted, "And you! You deserve to be burned in that fire.

"You bastard! You dare to bully Grandpa and snatch the supplies for the kids. What are you? You beast!

"Kneel!"

These few words of Claud sounded ordinary to Frank, but they shocked John utterly. His head buzzed, and he couldn't help but kneel on the ground.

"Grandpa raised you, but you bite the hand that feeds you. What's the use of keeping you?"

In an instant, Claud's killing intent filled the entire spot.

In John's eyes, Claud looked like a terrifying killer, surrounded by a sea of blood.

John's entire body trembled, and a strange smell spread out.

John pissed himself.

"Tsk."

Claud's face was full of disdain.

"Timid people like you don't have a place in the underworld."

John's face was burning, but he didn't dare to say a single word no matter how furious he was.

"Claud."

At such a juncture, Frank hobbled over to persuade Claud, "Let him slide. I think John already knew that he was wrong. Spare him. If you beat him up, you will be in trouble as well."

Looking at the innocent kids, Claud recalled his childhood. He hugged a girl and kissed her cheek before helping Frank inside.

"Claud, play with them for a while. I'll go fix something for us. We'll talk while drinking later."
