Chapter 4 Chapter 4 Shameless Homewrecker

Cindy was speechless.

Someone was waiting for her!

Who could it be?

In curiosity, Cindy turned around and headed towards the school gate.

When she arrived at the school gate, she was greeted by a middle-aged man.

The man came forward and nodded. "Ms. Lynd, this way please."

Cindy followed the man to the side of the road. Seeing him open the car door, Cindy saw the person sitting in the car.

She was a very beautiful and well-dressed woman.

Cindy did not know her and only stood there and watched.

The woman in the car also looked at her and said, "Get in the car. I'll take you to dinner."

Cindy remained expressionless, not saying a word.

The woman continued, "My name is Cecelia Linney. I wonder if you have heard of my name from Fletcher."

Cecelia...

She had seen it on Fletcher's phone before. It was because of Cecelia that Fletcher wanted to divorce her.

Cindy suddenly looked at the woman in the car with hostility. She ground her teeth and asked angrily, "Why are you looking for me?"

Cecelia sat in the back seat arrogantly, glanced at Cindy outside the car, and said in a disdainful tone, "I want to talk to you about Fletcher. Are you afraid of me?"

"Afraid of you? A shameless home wrecker."

Cindy was not afraid of her. She did not want to get in her car in disgust, and her whole body seemed to be covered with spikes.

She was only 5 feet 3 inches tall, but she gave people the illusion that she was aggressive and not a pushover.

When Cecelia heard the word "homewrecker", anger rose in her heart.

Seeing that the girl did not get in the car, she simply stepped on her high heels and got out of the car to come to her side.

Cecelia was 5 feet 7 inches tall. Coupled with her two-inch-tall high heels, when she stood in front of Cindy, she was a head taller than her.

As a rich young lady, Cecelia glanced at the girl in front of her and snorted.

"You are quite lucky. An orphan could not only be sponsored by Fletcher to go to school but also could marry him.

"For someone of Fletcher's status, it is really rare for his family to agree to your marriage."

Cindy glared at the woman beside her. She felt that Cecelia was tall and well-shaped and pretty.

But judging from her appearance, Cecelia should not be young.

Cindy felt that although she was not as tall as Cecelia, she wasn't inferior to her in terms of her appearance.

Moreover, her age was her advantage.

Without any hesitation, she retorted.

"Fletcher married me. It proved that he has me in his heart. You came here to question Fletcher and his family's choice. Who do you think you're?"

If she was not pregnant, and if Fletcher had someone else in his heart, she did not even need to think before leaving directly.

But now she was pregnant.

For her own child, she wanted to risk it again.

She did not want her child to either have a mother or a father.

Just like her, she had never known where her parents were since she was young.

And her only relative in her life was Fletcher.

She wanted to give her unborn child a complete home.

Cecelia turned pale. She didn't expect that this wild girl with no background would dare to talk to her in such a tone.

Cecelia took a step closer to her, hatred surging in her eyes.

"If I didn't leave him back then, do you think you would have a chance to stand by his side?"

Cecelia did not deny that the girl in front of her was very beautiful.

Her round and delicate tiny face was inlaid with a pair of eyes that shone like gems. Her red lips and white teeth made her look like a doll.

But other than her face, what else could she have to compete with her?

Cecelia felt that if she were to compete with her here, it would simply lower her taste and class.

"Madam, the problem is that you have already left him. You are his ex. I am his wife now. Since he is married to me, you should be self-aware and not disturb him again."

Cindy was like a small hedgehog, staring at Cecelia angrily.

She was just a little girl in her early twenties, but there was a fierce spirit in her bones that was not willing to admit defeat, which was inexplicably daunting.

"You..."

Cecelia was anxious and glared at Cindy with a livid face. "You called me Madam?"

"What else?" Cindy raised her eyebrows.

Cecelia wanted to hit her, but it was unworthy of her status. She suppressed the anger in her heart and looked at Cindy hatefully.

"You are his wife! Then you have to ask him why he married you.

"Moreover, even if I leave him for ten or twenty years, when I come back and need him one day, he will still marry me.

"And you are just a tool for him to ease his loneliness when I'm not around."

"What did you say?"

Cindy gritted her teeth in resentment, her little fists clenched so tightly that they made cracking sounds.

Cecelia no longer looked at her and said sarcastically.

"I don't want to talk nonsense with you. I just want to tell you not to dream about becoming noble even if you marry Fletcher."

She turned to leave.

Cindy could not take it anymore and rushed forward to grab her hair.

"I think you are the stone in a smelly and disgusting manure pit."

"Ah!"

Cecelia cried out in pain and hurriedly protected her hair. "You dare to hit me! Do you want to die?"

When the driver saw that Cecelia had been bullied, he quickly pushed open the car door and went forward to help.

Cindy pushed Cecelia away and pointed at the driver, shouting.

"If you dare come over, Fletcher will make you suffer."

The driver was instantly frightened when he heard Fletcher's name.

He could only stand at the side and lower his head.

"What are you waiting for? Hit her." Cecelia shouted anxiously at the driver.

The driver said timidly, "She is Mrs. Lynd. I dare not."

"Trash."

Cecelia looked ferocious, and her hair was messy.

The people passing by looked at her from time to time as if she was a madman.

"Just wait." She glared at Cindy fiercely.

Then she got into the car in a sorry state.

The driver also got in the car and drove away.

Cindy was frozen there, watching the woman who appeared out of thin air, and the toughness that she assumed instantly faded.

She staggered and sat on a bench by the roadside. She felt like she had lost all hope and was unable to breathe.

At this time, Cecelia in the sedan took out her phone and dialed Fletcher's number.

As soon as the call was connected, she hurriedly cried.

"Fletcher, can you come over after work? Your wife found me today. She pulled my hair and beat me like crazy."

"What did you say?"

"Fletcher, I know I made things difficult for you, but I don't want to do this. If you didn't..."

"I'll go find you right away."

Knowing that he had let Cecelia down, Fletcher could not hide the guilt in his heart. He picked up his coat and left the president's office.

He called Cindy as he walked.

Cindy, who was sitting by the side of the road, was about to get up and go back to school when her phone rang. She glanced at it and did not expect that it was a call from Fletcher.

After hesitating for a while, she still pressed the answer key.

Just as the call was connected, the man's helpless and low voice came.

"Cindy, how long are you going to do this? We can solve our own problems. Why did you look for Cecelia?

"You even hit her. You are really getting more and more capable."
