Chapter 3 Don't regret

The faces of the members of the Lopes Clan were stunned. Daniel Lopes never expected that his father's heir would be attacked by a useless guy.

"You despicable wretch, what do you think you're doing? Wanna die?" Daniel Lopes stood up, brandishing his stick directly at Mike Colin's face.

"Bang!" Silas Lopes unable to bear the anger, rushed straight at Mike Colin, intending to punch him in the face.

But before he could reach Mike Colin, Alex Liam kicked him away, causing Silas Lopes's hefty body to stagger and collapse into a chair, his heart throbbing with pain.

"Who are you, you wretch, to dare act so arrogantly in the Lopes Clan? Where are your manners?" Daniel Lopes shouted in rage.

Alex Liam stood in front of Mike Colin in a defensive posture, while Modin Lopes, hiding behind Daniel Lopes, covered his face and sobbed quietly.

"No one dares to humiliate my wife. That person must die!" Every word from Mike Colin felt like a stab to everyone present.

"Where is that person? Dead already?" Daniel Lopes felt humiliated. Despite whatever reputation the Lopes Clan had in the city of Gia, it was still a renowned clan.

"How dare you let such a useless person behave like this."

"Jasmine Lopes is a member of the Lopes Clan. I will only marry her to someone I choose. Who are you?"

"She is my wife. And she is no longer part of the Lopes Clan." Mike Colin affirmed firmly.

"You... You... If I want, I can make her not your wife anymore!" Daniel Lopes trembled with anger.

"If you're talking about those gatekeepers, they won't be able to enter here." Alex Liam seemed to warn.

The Lopes Clan looked down on Mike Colin and Alex Liam, seeing them both dressed in old, dusty clothes. They thought them to be poor and ignorant, with a bit of experience in fighting.

Internally, they were afraid that these two would resort to violence, causing harm to their bodies. Moreover, their gazes toward the two were filled with contempt.

If they had known that the person in front of them was the renowned warrior and the Great General Alex Liam, one of the four famous generals of East Site, they would have bowed down in awe.

"Masters of acting, aren't you? Jasmine Lopes, remember who provided medicine to your father. Without the Lopes Clan, you and your father wouldn't be alive. Think carefully. Stay on James's bed or leave. From now on, the Lopes Clan and you two are irrelevant. Live or die, it's up to you!"

Daniel Lopes slammed his crutch on the ground, trying to intimidate Hoden Lopes and his son.

"Go with him. Do you agree?" Mike Colin didn't say much, nor did he want to stay in this dirty place any longer.

While Jasmine Lopes hesitated, she looked at her father. She understood that Daniel Lopes was not entirely wrong. Her father's medication costs amounted to millions every month. Without the support of the Lopes Clan, her father's life would be at risk.

If she stayed, she would be pushed onto James's bed as a toy in exchange for the family's interests. If she left, what would happen to her father?

"No, I can't. My father..."

"Trust me. I will take care of you and your father." Mike Colin cut off Jasmine Lopes's words.

He wanted to regain his reputation, to return triumphantly and make his wife proud, to make his close ones happy.

But perhaps, with his current status, if he revealed himself, he would only attract flies and insects. It was best to hide his identity. He still had revenge to seek, many things to clarify from the past.

His best friend was in jail because of him. He would reclaim everything, one by one.

"Jasmine Lopes, you should leave, my child. Your father believes in Mike Colin." Although Hoden Lopes didn't believe that Mike Colin could do anything, he didn't want his daughter to become a pawn for others because of him.

"If you don't agree, I would rather die than stay here any longer." Hoden Lopes insisted, using all his courage in this lifetime to protect his daughter.

"Dad, I..."

"Fine, disobedient! Chaotic! If you step out of the Lopes Clan today, anything that happens in the future will have nothing to do with the Lopes Clan."

Daniel Lopes declared solemnly.
