Chapter 5 5

I didn't know that when Greyson and I went out, the wind would blow differently for me. During my library period, I thought of finding and reading the book that matched what my homework was looking for. I don't have a book to base my homework on so I have to do the assignment left by my professor before going to work.

Noisy entry, laughter woke me up. I immediately put my things away and immediately hurried to hide in a library shelf. I crawled to get to the very end, but when I got there, a pair of feet suddenly stopped, wearing black leather men's boots, while it had long legs wearing denim boyfriend pants with its ends folded. with an inner green shirt that stretched around his body while wearing a black leather jacket. When I looked up at his face, I saw the removal of the black shades from his eyes.

"Where are you going, baby?" asked Greyson who sat down to match me. He looked at me with a playful smile on his lips.

"A-Ah.." I immediately picked up my things and stood up, "I-I have to go, I have to do something.."

I turned my back on him to leave and didn't wait for what he had to say, but I was pulled back when Greyson's group appeared, grinning at me. I backed away but immediately faced Greyson when I bumped into him. He leaned one hand on the shelf while smiling and looking at me.

"Boss, it seems that you are being avoided. Miss Girlfriend is still missing."

If I wasn't afraid of Greyson, Jason might have joined me earlier. is always inciting Greyson so my life is not peaceful.

"I-I'm not avoiding you, I-I just really need to leave.."

After I said that, I started to walk past Greyson, but a hand firmly grabbed my arm, and due to the speed of the incident, I dropped my gear. I closed my eyes and grimaced so hard that I leaned against the shelf. I opened my eyes and I gasped when Greyson's close face appeared to me. His eyes were looking at me as if they were saying a lot and his lips were smiling as if he was happy.

"You saw us coming so you quickly hid. but because I caught up with you, now you're going to say you're going to do something else, baby.."

His face turned away from me as he caressed my chin. I couldn't move from where I was standing because I was shaking. His two arms are still on both sides of my head so I can't leave.

"We need to go somewhere.. So, let's go." calm and a trace of joy in his voice which is refreshing.

He straightened up and took my hand before pulling me away. the students were looking at us so I bent down and tried to take my hand from his tight grip, but I couldn't because my hand seemed to be locked in his.

When he arrived at the parking lot, he opened the side of the front seat.

"Get in." he ordered.

"I-I'm not going with you, I don't want to be with you."

He was stunned and I could see the annoyance in his eyes. I was startled when he hit the roof of his car and cornered me while looking at me intently.

"Will you ride or will I force you? choose wisely or else... you're dead, baby." he threatened.

I really can't take her messing up my life anymore. Even my work will be affected because of him. And even my quiet life at this school disappeared and was replaced by a nightmare.

"I-I don't want to go with you.. Stop me.."

I squeezed my hand when I was able to speak to him. But I was nervous when I registered a dark face on his face.

He firmly grabbed me by the shoulder and forced me to ride but I didn't get carried away.

"Greyson, let him go!"

We both looked at Lincoln as he appeared. I immediately got out of Greyson's grip and ran towards Lincoln. Lincoln immediately put me behind him so I looked at Greyson in fear.

He walked closer to us so he and Lincoln faced each other. He looked intently and seemed furious at Lincoln's presence.

"Don't force him if he doesn't want to go with you." Lincoln said boldly.

"You have no right to tell me what to do with him, Asshole! Juliet is mine, so don't dip into the dip when it belongs to someone else." Greyson said emphatically and he punched Lincoln, causing Lincoln to fall to the ground. I immediately went through it, but immediately I also stood up when Greyson pulled me upright.

"Let me go! I won't go with you! Stop me!" I said angrily to him. I was still out of breath and felt like I was relieved when I said that.

But when I looked at him, he looked at me sharply. I was shocked when he let me go but he pushed me so I sat on the ground.

He approached the door of the front seat and slammed the door shut before he went around to the driver's seat. I only saw his car pulling away. I looked at his group, they were looking at me before shaking their heads as if I did a mistake to their boss. They also got into their cars, and left.

"Are you okay?"

Instead of me being the one to say it, I was the one Lincoln worried about. we are sitting here now on the bench after that incident.

"You're the one I should be asking, look there's blood on the side of your lips."

He held it and laughed. I was surprised that instead of moaning, he laughed.

"Greyson still punches really hard, but it's worse now."

I am confused as to how the conflict between the two started. Based on what Lincoln said, he seems to have memorized Greyson's behavior.

"A-Ah...can I ask when did your conflict with Demonyo--est. Greyson begin?" I hesitate to ask.

He looked at me before he rested deeply. He looked at the sky as if he could see the past there.

"When I was in grade six, I fell in love with a girl named 'Yen'. Greyson and I were friends and we were like brothers before Yen came into my life. I dated Yen and we became friends for a while. I introduced her to Greyson and it was fine..but when we went to high school, I saw that Greyson pushed Yen. I was so angry at what he did that even though I didn't know what happened, I was still angry with Greyson. Greyson didn't even give an explanation or apologize for what he did to Yen, so I ended our friendship because of that. I didn't think that Yen would be angry because of what I did to cut off my friendship with Greyson, so he divorced me."

"What? He got angry just because you cut off your friendship with Greyson? Then you got divorced? Why is it like that?"

That girl is terrible.. If the ideal boyfriend is like Lincoln, he might have hit the jackpot.

"Because he likes Greyson. First of all, he likes Greyson and not me. He just used the opportunity to get close to me to get close to Greyson."

I could see the pain in Lincoln's eyes as he said that. He still really likes Yen. he's still in love with her.

"Do you still like him?" I hesitate to ask, it's too late before I take back what I'm asking. He looked at me so I was shocked and embarrassed. I want to smack my mouth with my babbling.

"I want someone else but I don't think he will come to me either.."

I looked into his eyes and I saw the way he was looking at me as if he was indicating something. He laughed as he shook his head and looked at the sky again.

I would like to tell him not to be jealous of Demonyo, because many people admire him and I am one of them. But I don't want to speak because my mouth might just destroy me.

"I'll bring you.." he offered and turned to me again but I turned him away.

"N-Not anymore, because I have somewhere else to go.."

I immediately stood up and carried my things. I just stopped when he held my hand.

"Kiminokotoga sukidesu."

I was so confused and didn't understand what he said. It's like Japanese. He laughed at my reaction and let go of my hand.

"It means be careful."

I nodded and smiled shyly. That's what it means, my chest was pounding so badly that you thought you were expecting something else.

"You too....alright, I'll go first."

He nodded and smiled, so I immediately turned and left. I'm still thinking about what Lincoln told me. They were good friends before, but because of a woman that was broken. That's why the tension between them is strange when they face each other..

"Oh! Juliet, it's good and you're here." He and Mylene greeted me when I arrived at the company we were working for.

"Why is there a problem?" I asked while putting on the uniform while we were here in our locker room.

"Yes, there is.." Teri replied.

After buttoning my uniform, I closed the door of my locker before facing the three lockers.

"What is that?"

I looked at them and they looked like losers and fridays.

"News from HR that the son of the owner of the company will take over. and it will also decide how it wants to manage the company."

"Oh, what's wrong with that?"

They looked at me as if my question was silly.

"Of course it's big, Julieta. when there is a new one, that means it can change employees or change the rules here."

That's when I realized what they wanted to convey to me. I felt nervous at the prospect of what they said. What if it lays off an employee? Then I'm one of them... what about me if that happens? This is all I hope to earn money from.

That thought bothers me until I work. It makes me cringe thinking about it. if I could just complain that the owner of this GSE Empire company didn't leave, I might have done it, but who am I to do that. I'm at the lowest level of an employee who doesn't need my opinion. Only superiors and officials have the right to complain.

"Be careful, Juliet!"

I limply waved to Mylene, Teri, and Paula. I walked while thinking about what would happen when the owner's son took over. Actually I have not seen the owner of GSE Empire company. because I didn't get to the top floor where the owner had his office. I just heard that it is handsome, serious, and feared because the moment you make a mistake, you will be fired immediately. So it really looks like a big puzzle to me. therefore, I don't even know where to complain when the transfer of his son to his position is implemented.

"Sister!"

I stopped walking when a familiar fancy car pulled up next to me. When I looked at the person who spoke, my eyes widened before it was pointed at.

"Centi!" I smiled because I just saw him again. He got down and immediately held both of my hands, "How are you, Cienti?"

She was wearing a red dress, and a white stelleto. While her nose was red because of the red lipstick. the ends of her hair were curly while it was loose and she was tidying it up. It's really beautiful.

"I'm fine Sister, but you have to accompany me.."

There is a trace of panic in his voice, so I couldn't wait for him to lead me to the car.

"Where are we going, Cienti?" I will ask.

"Kuya is losing his mind at the bar. That's why you have to help me because I know you can help a lot. Oh, it's time for Grandpa or Dad to find out, he's dead."

"Huh? Why, what do I have to do with that? Besides, I don't know your brother, so how can I help?"

He looked at me from his view of the road we were taking. He smiled and shook his head.

"You mean you don't even know who my brother is?" He smiled while asking that so I nodded, "Unbelievable! It's funny that you don't know who my older brother is." he said and giggled.

"Why is it funny? Besides, who is your older brother?"

He didn't answer me, instead he just smiled at me. I remember something in his smile, but it was vague that it was his brother. It's really vague.

Our ride stopped, so I looked outside. I saw a bar belonging to a hotel. Cienti got down immediately so I got down too. I just followed him as we walked inside.

"Oppps, you're still young, you can't go in.."

The bouncer stopped Cienti, so he looked at me.

"Sister, you are the one to find Kuya. You have to take him out. Please, please.."

Taking a deep breath and nodding, I sent him back to the car and I went in alone.

It was dark but there was a mischievous light that greeted me as I entered. There are still smokes and a lot of people. How can I find Cienti's brother? I forgot to ask what it looks like. I stopped walking when someone suddenly threw a man moaning at my feet so I backed away. I even looked at the one who also threw, so I looked at the one who was doing it with the boys.

I froze where I stood when I saw Greyson's darkened face, his face without any reaction, and his bloody fist. It looked at me so I swallowed. He held the other man by the collar but he let go. I stepped back when I saw that he seemed to be coming towards me so I immediately turned back.

My God, Greyson is Cienti's brother! Why did I just realize now?!

I stopped leaving when someone suddenly grabbed my arm. I faced me and met Greyson's eyes that were glaring.

"What are you doing here, huh?!" He was so loud that I was shocked. I was shocked when he pulled me closer to him and I saw him kicking a man with a bottle. He let go of me and punched the man who I covered my mouth while I couldn't believe what I was seeing. The man's face was almost bloody if they hadn't come closer to Jason.

"That's enough, boss."

Greyson did stop, and ran his fingers through his hair before turning to face me again. He came and took my hand before pulling me away.

When we came out, it was restless in front of me before facing me.

"What are you doing here, huh? after you betray me, you still have a face to face!" he shouted.

Why! What is this guy talking about? It's drunk.

"Your brother is looking for you.." I said softly. I bent down and bit my lip because my mind was brave enough to say it, but when my mouth said it, I was like a dog with a tail.

"Brother! Finally!"

I looked at Cienti, then I looked at Greyson. I was surprised because it was staring at me. Cienti clung to Greyson's arm so he finally lost his gaze on me.

"Brother, they are looking for you Dad. Come on! You have blood."

I looked at the brothers. I really can't believe that Greyson and Cienti are brothers. A demon, then an angel goddess. but in fact, they do have a resemblance. Cienti is just a girl version.

"You shouldn't go to this place, Magnificient! Tsk, hard headed girl." Greyson said angrily to Cienti, but instead of being scared, Cienti just smiled and looked at me so I swallowed.

"Brother, Sister Juliet is so pretty. I like her for you."

I shook my head at Cienti because he was thinking wrong. I looked at Greyson who scratched his eyebrows but seemed to be holding back a smile. I looked at his hand with blood on it.

"Tsk, let's go.." Greyson asked and I was shocked when he took my hand again and pulled me. I looked at Cienti who was clinging to my arm.

"Ayyyiee. You're the only one who thrills my brother." He teased and poked my side.

"You're thinking wrong.."

I shook my head at this but he didn't seem to believe it because he was smiling.

"What are you talking about, baby? He's thinking right."

I looked at Greyson when he opened the front seat door of his car.

"Alright, next you lovers. Babush!"

"Cienti.." I almost begged not to leave Greyson but Cienti went to his car and got in. It's gone so I'm nervous again.

"Get in, baby." His whisper pierced my ears. He grabbed my waist and pulled me so I couldn't do anything but ride.

I squeezed my hand while looking at Greyson outside. The group came closer, but Greyson seemed to be sending them home before he quickly turned around in the driver's seat. I bent down while digging my pants. He got in and started the car.

My eyes widened and I looked at him in shock when he brought himself closer to me. He grinned while our faces were only a few inches apart.

"Next time you go with Porter, let's see what I can do with you. I don't want a cheater, so be loyal to me, understand?" he said while looking at me with threatening eyes. As he was about to bring his face closer, I dodged and covered my face. he laughed in my ear before I heard the sound of something. The car moved forward so I slowly removed my hand from my sight. I saw that the seatbelt was already attached to my body. I looked at Greyson who was playing with his lips again while holding back a smile.

I don't understand him. Not really..
