Chapter 2

Still Valorie

I wake up in the morning with a smile on my face. Even though my eyes are closed from crying, I woke up feeling good.

Well...the reason is that I fell in love with the man, it's really nice because in my dream he was flirting with me which I hope will come true. But of course he needs to meet me first.

"It's Saturday, and today I will introduce myself to you." I whispered smiling.

I quickly showered and got dressed. I said goodbye to nanny, I don't need to say goodbye to my parents because they are not there either.

There are people playing when I come to the court. There are a lot of people, like international players will be playing.

"Can I sit here?" I asked a woman, because there was a vacancy right next to her.

"Sure." he said and looked back at the players.

I looked around, looking for the man.

"There you are." I said softly as I saw him tying his shoes.

Maybe they are next game.

"Miss do you know that man?" I asked the girl next to me.

"Oh it's Gelo."

"His full name?"

"Marc Angelo Alarcon. That's his full name."

Now I know.

I opened my instagram and searched for his name. I was very happy to see that but that's just private. I didn't hesitate to request that I follow him. The two people who followed him caught my attention..

"Kayla and Shiela?" I whispered. Do they know Marc Angelo?

I was able to look back at the players because of the loud shouting. There are 3 points so everything is noisy.

I stood up because Marc Angelo suddenly disappeared. I looked around again, but he was gone. I looked at the girl next to me as she approached me.

"Are you looking for Gelo?" he asked. He noticed it.

I nodded.

"Well, he's done playing." he said and pointed to the man who was about to get into the car.

Oh my!

"He said he has to leave because they have another team. They have a match coming up so they need to practice."

"Is he still a student?" I will ask.

The woman nodded. "He studies at Brandon University. He is a varsity player there, he and his cousin Froilan."

Brandon University?

Wait, that's the one Kyler can fight with! It will be held at school so it means I will see him there! Maybe he will meet me there.

A few more days before I see him again. I can't go to their University especially since they are strict there. Non-students cannot enter there.

Even if it's a few more days, I'm excited to see him again. I can not wait.

"Try to cheer for someone else."

Ken raised an eyebrow at what he said. "What will you do?"

"You'll find what you're looking for."

I glared at him.

My loyalty is with them anyway. I will just scream at Brandon University if Marc Angelo comes out.

"Even if you look at others, your loyalty is still to us, right?" Troy said, putting his arm around me.

"I'll look at others but I won't trade you." I said smiling.

I patted his hand and looked closely because he squeezed my cheek painfully. I sat down on the stool and watched them play billiards.

Where are Tyra and Kayla now? I have no one to talk to. Shiela was sleeping. Kyler didn't either. Why do they take so long?

I checked my notifications in insta, still no notifications from Marc. He hasn't accepted yet.

It's sad.

"Hey guys."

I frowned when I saw Kyler and Mikayla enter. They are together again. I have noticed this many times. They seem to be hiding something.

Kayla approached me smiling and hugged me.

"Where have you been?" I will ask.

"I'm from home, Kyler doesn't know. We just met outside." here. It can't look at me.

They are really hiding something.

Hey! Nevermind...I'll find out if there is one. What is important to me now is that Marc Angelo Alarcon gets to know me.

"Good morning dad." I congratulate my father. I caught him reading the newspaper. It's a miracle that he's here now.

He closed the newspaper and put it on the table. "Good morning. Sit down and I'll ask you something."

It's about mommy for sure.

"About your atm card, I canceled it first. Even if you don't tell me what your mommy did, I will still know. Someone told me.

"B-but what should I use?"

"But this is yours." I said.

"You can use that, I have other things. Don't give that to your mommy. Don't say that I gave something. I don't want her to use that for her vice."

"Yes dad." I looked at him. "Can I ask? Is there really no hope that the problem will be fixed?"

I saw a guilt in my father's face. He stood up and went behind me and grabbed both of my shoulders.

"I'm sorry sweetheart if you were affected by what's happening with your mommy. We tried several times to fix it but nothing is happening. It's back to the way it was before."

"Can't you leave your woman? Do you love her that much?"

He didn't answer me.

Well...silence means yes.

"Don't you plan to introduce him to me?"

"I'm sorry my daughter. Just remember that daddy loves you very much."

I stood up and said goodbye to him. I'm already crying and I don't want him to see that.

"Breathe Valorie, breathe." I whispered to myself.

I'm hurting but I manage to smile. Because today I will see Marc Angelo again.

"Where is Kayla?" I will ask. The game starts and he's still gone.

"Call her." Shiela said.

I called him and he said he was on his way, maybe he just did something in the music room with Uno.

"Why are you restless?" Tyra asked me. I've been looking around for a while now.

"Nothing." I said.

"Are you waiting for someone?"

"Yes, the Rim Jobs. I'm excited to see them."

"Of course they will come in later and how excited are you? Aren't you tired of seeing them and being with them every day?"

'Actually, the Brandon University player is the one I want to see.' That's what I was going to say but I didn't. I'm sure my friends will punish me.

Hey, it's finally starting and Kayla is finally here.

We stood up as they introduced the players of Rim Jobs, Kyler, one by one. The stone of our school.

"And here are the players of Brandon University. Deathstars!"

death stars? That's the name of their team.

I'm excited to see him. He will be called next.

"And the team captain, none other than Marc Angelo Alarcon!"

I screamed really loud.

"Val I'm deaf." Kayla complained.

"Oh I'm sorry, my love is here Marc Angelo." I was thrilled to say. And because of that, I received another sharp look from my friends.

I just made a peace sign.

I just focus on watching. I want to scream every time Marc shoots, I just hold myself back. But I gave my full support to my friends just because the deathstars.

"You can do it! Just fight!" I shouted. "Go my loves!"

I was stunned and Marc Angelo and I couldn't move our eyes!

Oh my gosh! He looked at me. Yes, I'm sure he's looking at me.

I'm the one who avoided it, I sat down because I feel like I'm about to melt..

But kyaaahhhh! Thrilling!

Unfortunately, Kyler lost.

I was going to catch up with Marc Angelo after the game. I smiled when I saw him but I didn't continue approaching him when I saw that he was talking to Kayla and they seemed to be having fun.

Do they know each other? But they don't just know each other, they seem to be very close to each other. I hid behind a pole when I saw Kyler. I saw jealousy in his face.

Hey! I just left quietly.

What's up with Kayla and Marc?

"Hi beautiful."

I stopped and smiled at the man I met but I immediately frowned. Well I know him but I forgot his name. All I know is that this is a varsity player and the guy I flirted with but I got tired of it right away.

"Hi yourself." I said it so calmly that the people with it went oohh.

I raised an eyebrow at him when he suddenly approached me. I hit his hand but he didn't let go.

"Did I give you permission to touch me?"

"Don't you miss me baby?"

"No, why would I miss you?" I'm sorry. "Let go of me."

"In one condition." he said. "Date me again and sleep with me."

The F*ck!

I laughed. "Why would I?"

"Come on baby, I know you miss me. So come on."

"No way. Let go." I said seriously.

"I know you want to."

"If you don't want to, don't force it."

We looked at the speaker.

I immediately pushed this man, what is his name? But nevermind! I do not care about him. I only care about the man who intervened.

It's Marc Angelo!

Oh my gosh! The voice is sexy. I heard his voice for the first time.

"The woman is not forced." he said. I suppressed my own smile when he looked at me and after that he left.

"How dare him? Maybe he wants a fight?" said the man.

"That's Alarcon, you can't do that." said one.

"True." I said and passed them.

"Thank you." I thanked Marc when I caught up with him.

He just nodded. I was about to ask, but the man who always accompanied her came. If I'm not mistaken his name is Froilan.

Wasteful! I talked to him again!

When will he have time to meet me? That we can talk for a long time?

"Your daddy?" mommy asked when she got home.

"I don't know." I don't want to answer.

"He won't even touch me with money? D*mn it!"

I closed my eyes.

Even if he stares for a few hours, he won't get anything. I chose to go into the room rather than listen to what he was saying.

I just lay down then I checked my insta if there was any good news but still he didn't accept me! Oh my gosh, Marc Angelo! Is he not active?

"Brandon University."

"Why Brandon University?"

I jumped in shock because of Tyra's appearance. I'm still holding my chest, I'm going to be shocked.

It raised an eyebrow at me.

"What?" I asked.

"Why are you mentioning Brandon? Don't tell me you want to flirt with someone there?"

I hit him softly. "Hey, you're serious, flirt right away? Can't I just admire one of them?"

"There you go again Valorie, you're adding to your men again."

"I don't have a man anymore." I said smiling. "And I'm still loyal to one."

"Who are their players?"

"Secret." I said with a wink.

"Girls!" Kayla called us when she arrived. He sat next to me smiling.

She's totally fine. How many days have passed since the chaos happened between him and Shiela? Yes, they fought with the person closest to him, Shiela, because of Kyler. Shiela cannot accept that Kayla and Kyler are in a relationship. The two are still kept secret but everything is okay.

"Let's go home." here.

Yes it is. We are going to them because her aunt Fe invited us. I'm still laughing because Kyler seems nervous. Maybe because he will meet his girlfriend's older brother.

When we arrived at Kayla's house, we didn't think Shiela was there. It was even earlier than me.

I just frowned because I didn't want to see his face. I'm annoyed because of what he did to his best friend.

"I'm already ahead of you because it's your time." he said with a smile.

"It's good that you arrived." I said. It seems that my friends have no intention of paying attention to this, so I am the one to pay attention.

"Of course I can't get lost, I'm still part of the group. Aunt Fe thinks of me as another family member." boast of it.

"They're here." Shiela said when we heard a noise. Men's voices. They were laughing.

I frowned when I saw them enter the kitchen. Why do they seem familiar?

My eyes widened and I stared as the person I wanted to see entered. It's been a few days since I last saw him.

Is he here?! Marc Angelo is here! Wait...what is he doing here?

Oh gosh! don't tell me...

I looked at Kayla with a nervous face.

"I didn't know we had a visitor, mommy." said one, if I'm not mistaken it's Froilan. Aunt Fe is his mommy? So this is Kayla's cousin.

"I invited them. It's more fun when there are many, and it's only occasionally."

Mikayla stood up and approached Marc, she hugged him!

Oh my! Is he really its older brother?!

"U-uhmm brother..my friends are Val, Tyra, Troy and Ken-."

"I know them." here. "Then Kyler your boyfriend."

I closed my eyes.

"Wait...wait...wait..." I moaned so I got their attention. "Your brother?" I said in disbelief.

"Yes, he is my brother. Brother Marc-."

"It's your brother!" I couldn't help but raise my voice. My companions spoke at the same time. They also reacted late.

I just let them go because I was only looking at Marc Angelo.
