Chapter 6 Unacceptable truth

"I panicked all night when you told me that this girl had said hurtful things to you and worse when you told me this morning that she tried to give you sleeping pills. I think I'm going to withdraw my investment and let his father go bankrupt. He promised me a sweet wife in exchange for this large sum of money and now your life is in danger."
