Chapter 4 BLACKMAIL

Angela tried to push those questions storming her mind down her guts and get out of the awkward situation as soon as possible.

She got up from the bed,pulling the ring off her finger hurriedly.

"I am so sorry about whatever happened last night , I messed up,first time getting drunk and stuff, look I apologise for ruining your proposal, I messed up...I am sorry... but I can't stay and I can't marry you,you can keep the ring ".

Great! Why is it not coming off!

She groaned in frustration as the ring remained tight around her finger.

"I offer you a fortune payment,just for a year, believe me I hate this a thousand times as much as you do, I do chase everything on skirt but low class like you are like plagues to me,accept the proposal and I will change your wretched life with a reward".

Antonio said dryly.

Angela's brow married in annoyance.

"With all due respect sir,my answer is no, I can't be your pretend fiancé or wife whatever. I don't want your money either."

She replied furiously.

Antonio's lips slightly drew into a mocking smirk with his thick brows raised covering his surprise and disappointment to her answer.

"Stop being such a slut,your type are good pretenders but deep down you never imagined that a man like me could have proposed to you, even a fake one."

Angela scuffed.

"You're right ofcourse, because I never wanted a man like you, I have a boyfriend by the way".

"Good thing you're aware of your worth, now quit arguing with me, no one turns down my request ever! You are going to be my bride,it's a dream come true".

"Not everyone is moved by your money!"

Angela snapped back.

"You poor things don't really have a choice, this is a chance of a lifetime..."

"I don't want your stinking money! And I will never marry you!"

"Well I never asked, I am telling you".

He said that so calmly, making Angela even more pissed.

"You are crazy! You don't own me and I won't allow you to treat me like some object you own".

She stood up determined ,grabbed her bag and turned to the door but before she could make another move , it was too late as strong fingers clamped on her arm and swept her off her feet.

"Let me go!"

She squeaked, tugging on her arm.

Antonio walked back to his seat and shoved her onto it, roughly.

"Where do you think you are going?"

He asked, towering over her.

"How dare you manhandle me like that, didn't your parents ever tell you anything about respecting women?"

She snapped furiously.

"I don't respect women but I do know how to shut the big mouthed ones like you up".

"What are you going to do then, spank me?"

"Don't tempt me".

He rasped.

Angela swallowed convulsively, stunned by his level of cruelty; moreover his black eyes had this certain glint of rage in them that scared her, but as much as they scared her, she was unable to escape from their glance.

It took her minutes to get over the fear spiralling down her spines.

"Now listen to me, my grandmother will be here anytime soon,be a good kitty and play along or else..."

"Do as you please."

Angela snapped with wet glistening eyes and made to get up from the chair, aware of the risk she had taken by turning down his offer.

"You don't want to annoy me"he growled coldly.

"You can't stop me from leaving".

She said boldly.

"Can't I?"

He smirked, then with swift strides he was at the door removing the key.

"When you are ready to behave like an adult, just ring the bell".

"Don't you dare, you crazy.."

Before she could finish protesting, he slammed the door shut after him, and she could hear the key turning in the lock outside.

Furious and frustrated, she banged her hands against the door, wishing it was Antonio Montero's head..

"Let me out of here! You are holding me against my will, that's abduction and carries a pretty heavy prison sentence if you don't know".

"Has anyone ever told you that you sound cute when angry? Forget what I said earlier about you being below average, I will love to put my dick down your throat to get that kitty sound out of your mouth".

He responded with annoying calmness in his tone.

"Fucking pervert!" Angela cursed.

Although she couldn't see him, Angela knew he must be enjoying every moment with that annoying smirk on his face.

"You spoiled brat! I will tell your grandma everything if you don't let me go, you can't force me to be your bride! You brat! I will call for help and make sure you are sued for keeping me here".

There was no reply, she wondered if he was still there but anger forbade her from enquiring.

She took out her phone from her bag angrily and dialled a number.

"That spoiled brat, he thinks I am someone he can just toy with, who cares about his reward, I am an independent woman, I am happy with my family, my life is perfect..I don't need his filthy money!"

She yelled and kicked on the door.

"Get me out of here! You brat!"

She hit on the door again, and winced at the pain.

"What a jerk".

She murmured sadly, rubbing her pink fists.

She looked at her phone, her boyfriend's number wasn't going through, suddenly paused, noticing the lock moved.

He must be messing around with the lock, excited about the opportunity, she looked around quickly for a weapon, her eyes went to a flower vase.

She put her bag down and her phone on the floor then with an evil smirk, she grabbed the flower vase and rushed to the door waiting for him to pull the knob.
