CHAPTER THREE.

NITA'S POV

I glanced at my injured arm and noticed it was bandaged. I wondered how and remembered before we had sex, he treated my arms gently for me.

My heart melted and I felt my legs frozen, not wanting to leave.

I was feeling this strong connection with him, but I had to. 'I just had to.' I thought, before leaving the room and closing the door gently behind me on the stranger and the memories I had with him.

Meanwhile, in the room, a certain man's eyes flung open, and he turned to the side of the bed, to notice his little wolf was gone. He grinned, before whispering possessively.

" I am coming for you, mate".

I walked into my house, and sat on the bed, exhaling in relief.

" Finally I was home, and no one saw me," I thought, as I slammed myself on my bed, to get some rest. Just then, I heard a knock on my door and instantly rose.

" Who could that be?' I wondered, as I lazily got off my bed, moved to the door, and opened it.

I held my breath, at who I saw Infront of me. Justin, the crown prince of the pack. He was grinning evilly, and I felt the urge to puke, disgusted by his sight.

" What are you doing here?" I asked, and he just used a hand to shove me aside.

" I know you are happy to see me, so don't pretend," He said and I scoffed, not wanting to believe the level of his arrogance.

" You do think highly of yourself, don't you?" I asked and he shrugged.

" Well, I can't help it, I know how handsome I am and how much every lady desires me, including you," He told me proudly.

" Just because Gia kisses your butt, does not mean I would ever do the same," I told him and he instantly turned to face me, growling furiously.

" And what do you mean by that?" He asked furiously, but I just ignored his question.

" Dear crown prince, I would not want your chosen mate to know you came here and pulled my head off, so please take your leave," I told him politely, feeling surprised I could develop the guts to talk to him in such manners. And ofcourse, Justin was surprised too for he scowled, before smirking mischievously.

" Are you perhaps jealous I chose her over you?" He said and my heart panged, my wolf struggling to wake up from her slumber, take control, and rip his face apart, but unfortunately, that was just a mere wish.

' I am just an omega, so I cannot shift. Besides, he is far stronger than me'. I thought.

" You already broke the bond between us dear Alpha, so I cannot feel anything or any emotions called Jealousy towards you " I reminded him, and his smirk transformed into a frown instantly, as he moved closer to me.

I kept moving back, as he moved closer to me threateningly. I tried moving backward once more, only to realize I had reached the wall and could not move any further.

The bastard smirked at that, before caging me on the wall, his face bending slowly to my face, like he wanted to kiss me.

"Wh...wh... what are you trying to do?" I stuttered, and he smirked at my nervous expression.

" No one has the right to you, except for me" He growled possessively and I arched my eyebrows at him.

' Selfish bastard ' I cursed within.

" I don't think that is any of your business any longer, you already rejected me and chose someone else" I reminded him, just in case he had forgotten and he grinned.

" Still, you are mine and mine alone" He growled possessively before dashing out of my house, slamming the door behind him loudly.

As soon as he was gone, I let out a breath I did not realize I was holding, as I wondered what psychopath the moon goddess gave to me as a mate.

RICHARD'S POV.

" Grey", I barked into my cell phone.

" Yes Alpha" He answered politely.

" I need you to dig everything you can about a black-haired lady, with blue moon eyes and a slender figure," I told him, describing the little wolf to him.

" Sir?" He called out confused.

" Do as I say?" I growled.

" But sir, there would be plenty of girls with that certain description" He reminded me.

" How do I know the certain one you are looking for?" He asked curiously, and I felt a pinging headache due to his questions.

" I do not mean in the world Grey, I meant in this town," I told him.

" Still sir, there will be..." I did not even let him complete his sentence before I interrupted him.

" Easy with the exaggeration, Grey," I told him, and he signed.

" This is a small town," I reminded him. " And the features I just mentioned to you are very rare," I added.

" If you know, you cannot take your time, and look through as I asked, just collect the database of those features I mentioned, and I will find her myself. " I told him.

" No Alpha, I will do everything" He refused and I grinned.

" No, better still, do as I say. I want to find her myself" I told him, before hanging up, not giving him a chance to say anything more.

Just then, my phone pinged, alerting me I had a message. I opened it and saw it was from my mum.

" When are you coming home, son?" I read out and grinned, thinking not anytime soon.

I have to find my mate and convince her to come home with me first.

" Not anytime soon mum" I replied and dropped my phone on the table nearby, before going back to the bed, to look at the unwashed sheets.

The blood stains were still clearly visible.

" MY MATE" I growled possessively.

' The moon goddess has given me a second chance' I thought, as I climbed into the bed, with no care of the stain, and snuggled deeper into it, wanting another sniff of her alluring scent.

" I am coming for you soon, please wait for me" I muttered.

A FEW WEEKS LATER.

NITA'S POV.

We were all gathered outside, in the palace hall. It was the coronation of Crown Prince Justin. He was dressed as noble as an Alpha should, while Gina was dressed gorgeously as a future Luna should.

She was beaming from ear to ear and never failed to throw me a mocking gaze.

" Do you, Justin Larson, promise to be a rightful and Just leader?" The priest asked.

" Yes, I do, " Justin replied, and I found myself huffing in disbelief.

' Justin was the opposite of just' I thought, as I watched the priest place the crown on his head, before proclaiming him as the Alpha.

Just then, there was a thunderous loud applause and cheers. I had to join in, in the clapping to get any attention away from me.

" Thank you all, I appreciate your support" Justin began the boring speeches Alpha gives after being crowned.

I fought the urge to yawn and concentrate.

" I would love you all, to be a witness to what I am about to do next " He began and I froze, not knowing exactly why I was having a seriously bad feeling about this.

" Nita snow" He called, in a loud tone and I shivered, as the bastard had just successfully made everyone focus their attention on me, which I was trying to avoid.

Gia threw him a look of confusion, not after directing dagger glares at me, making me wonder what I did wrong.

It was her douchebag mate who called me, and it wasn't like, I asked to be called.

" Please step forward" He commanded and I gasped within, wondering why.

" Wasn't the humiliation he gave to me a few weeks back enough?" I wondered to myself.

' If this jerk tries anything funny, I will kill him,' I thought and laughed at myself.

I was too weak to do so. I decided to ignore the gasps, and murmurs going around and walked to the front slowly.

When I got to a smirking Justin's presence, I bowed in acknowledgement. Something I despised myself for doing, but I did not have a choice.

" Come closer, Nita",He said, and I gulped, wondering why. If I should move forward, I would be right on the stage.

My wolf, and subconscious were screaming at me, to turn back at the moment, but I found myself unable to.

I decided to do as he commanded and made a move. Just then, I felt nauseous and threw up right there on the stage amusing everyone.

To my shock, Justin immediately dashed to me, and held me protectively, to Gia's shock and fury.

" Are you okay?" He asked, concerned boldly laced in his tone. I was speechless at the moment, not knowing what to say.

I turned to look at him in disbelief and almost collapsed to the ground, but he caught me.

I felt so dizzy.

" What is wrong with you Nita?" Gia asked, hatred boldly laced in her tone, but I just ignored her.

" Are you perhaps faking everything just to gain our Alpha's attention?" She roared, and Justin surprisingly snapped at her.

" Shut the hell up Gia" He roared, startling the poor girl.

" Who the hell fakes throwing up?" He yelled, and Gia shivered fearfully. I pitied her, at the moment while also wondering, when Justin became so nice.

"I am just trying to look out for you" Gia whispered trembling, but Justin just ignored her.

" Well, there is only one way, we can find out, if she is telling the truth or not," Gia said, throwing me death glares, and I had a feeling, she was up to no good.

She then turned to one of the guards nearby.

" Please get me the healer" She pleaded, and the guard nodded to her, with a bow before dashing out of the palace hall.

"The healer will be here in a few minutes, and then we will know if your ex-mate is truly ill, or just trying to get your attention" Gia commented, with a smirk and I found myself wondering if she was sane.

" Who fakes being ill?" I muttered silently, but I think Justin heard me, for he started patting my back soothingly.

I froze and started to feel uncomfortable, for his arms were still around me. He was acting super weird and was taking my side against Gia.

" Does Gia think we are as shameless as her?" Daphne, my wolf asked with a scoff.

" And please get this man's hands off us, it is irritating" She added, obviously irritated with Justin's touch on her.

I was about to let out a giggle when the guard arrived with the healer.

Gia's grin turned wide, as she sighted the healer.

' Either this girl had something up her sleeves, or she truly believed I was faking it ' I thought.

" Please step forward for the healer to check you, Nita " Gia told me and I felt reluctant to

Call me crazy, but I was having a really bad feeling about this.

The healer checked me thoroughly, my palm and eyes especially, before moving back, with a stunned expression.

" What is it?" Justin asked, noticing his expression, and for some unknown reason, I felt my heart pounding fast.

" Alpha, if my diagnosis is correct, Nita is pregnant," He said and I widened my eyes from shock, while everyone gasped, including Gia.

" What?" I found myself asking.

" Yes," He replied. " You are two weeks gone," He added.

" No," I said in denial. " It's not true, you are lying," I added.

" No man has ever..." I stopped my sentence right there, remembering the one-night stand I had with the stranger, on the night I was rejected.

" No man has ever what?" Justin asked, his eyes filled with rage.

I shivered, keeping quiet and not having anything to say. Just then, I felt a painful blow on my cheeks.

I gasped, moving my hand to my cheeks in disbelief. Justin just slapped me.

" Who touched you, you whore?" Justin roared.

" I did" I heard a familiar voice reply, and I felt my legs going numb.

' What is he doing here?' I wondered.
