Chapter 6 Fear of the Future

Chapter Six

"So that means I won't die again." Harry ask and Sara nod her head.

Harry heaves. "Thank you Sara." Harry said innocently.

"You are welcome." Sara said, she turn to leave but turn back again. "I

have to leave now, but don't worry, I will come and pick you at the closing

hour."

"Alright I believe you." Harry said and smiles.

"And Harry, you will vomit the Apple whole, so please give it to me first

thing tomorrow morning." Sara said and she walks away as fast as possible.

"Alright I will." Harry said after Sara.

Immediately Sara walk away, Harry continues to examine the pouch in his hand,

for once since daybreak, he felt relieve that he won't be dying no longer,

though he feels useless been born cripple and holds no value to the society,

still Harry knew how much he meant to his mother, and wvwn though he can't be

the filial Son for his mother, he didn't want her mother to cry.

Harry felt grateful to Sara for no reason, he sees Sara as a good friend who

stood by him, even though he had not use what is in the pouch, the trust he

have in Sara cause him to trust her that what she gave him will work for him.

Harry is still deep in his thought, the bell rang for break over, he wheel

himself back to the class.

Finally Harry close for the day, after locking his locker in the corridor, he

wheel himself to the yard outside the hall, and await Sara. But for an hour,

Harry waits for Sara to come and help him with his wheelchair, just as she

promised that she will, but Sara is no where to be found.

Harry does not blame her, she believes she might be too busy, Harry decides to

find another solution for himself, at least Mrs Rose won't come and pick him

up, thus he concludes to asks for help, luckily for him a guy of his age walks

by, Harry cough out first and call out.

"I am sorry. But if I am not disturbing you. I need your help with my

wheelchair, just please help me out of the school compound." Harry said in

a calm tone.

"No problem about that friend" the guy said, he comes nearer ans push

the wheel chair off.

"Thanks Buddy." Harry said first

"Its nothing Buddy, we have to give help to the leas privileged in the

society." The guy said, he continues to push the wheelchair till they are out

of the compound.

"I think I can handle the rest from here." Harry said, his tone remains calm.

"Alright, I am Kelvin by name." the guy stretch his hand for a shake.

"And you can call me Harry." Harry take the handshake with a broad smile.

"Thanks for not looking down on me."

"Like I said, it's important we help the less privileged in the society, at

least that will make them feel among us." Kelvin in a calm tone.

"Well that is what it is. Society need people like you." Harry said and turns

to the direction of his house.

"I am actually heading to that same direction, so if you don't feel offended, I

can keep you company." Kelvin said and cough.

"I'd be grateful buddy, at least I can save strength of rolling the wheel."

Harry said, his tone remains calm, but hold lot of appreciation in it.

Kelvin takes the handle of the wheel, he continues to push Harry, the same time

talking to him, Harry as well enjoys the conversation, his joy knows no bond

that moment. Just yesterday he was nobody, he was a scum to the Earth, but

today, he is making his second friend, thus Harry conversation with Kelvin

flows smoothly that he wish that it does not end.

Finally the two stop at Harry door, Kelvin did help Harry up to the Veranda of

his house, then he waves Harry goodbye and walks away. Harry also waves goodbye

to his new friend, he turns to the door and open it, he enters easily and

finally drops his bag on the chair.

Harry shout her mother name, but he get no answer, his room is upstairs, but he

have to climb the stairs. Harry heaves and give up the idea of changing, and he

decides to wait for his mother, he can only stay back in the sitting room, at

least he can watch his favorite movies Game of Throne, the Dragon who doesn't

know himself to be King.

Harry was on the Last episode of Season five, he finish the last episode where

the main actor known as John Snow is killed. Harry is sad to see how the guy is

stab five times in the chest and stomach, before he give up the ghost. Harry

decides to slot in the next Season, suddenly the electricity malfunction and

the whole house light off.

Harry swore at the electricity, he sits back and he begins to reminisce on all

that happen at school the day, been bullied again by Don, but this time Son is

caught and given several punishment, then he remembers the changes in his

mental development, how he suddenly seems to know everything without been

taught.

Happiness fill all of Harry heart that moment, at least nothing go wrong for

him, but then again, he can't be lucky as today again, then his mind drift to

his dream, the same time he remembers what Sara gave him at school, he needs

the stuff right now, in Harry hurry, he insulin push him to forget that he was

cripple and can't walk on his own.

Quickly Harry stands up from his wheelchair, he rush to the kitchen to get a

cup, he also bend beside his bag and bring out the pouch in his bag, he head

back to the dining room, he pour the content into the water, he begins to mix

the ashes in the water, the same time he is standing against the table, still

he haven't know yet that his disability is heal miraculously.

Suddenly Mrs Rose comes into the house, she look worried seeing Harry standing,

the woman drop her bag and her purse in fright, her palm flew to her chest, she

shouts very loud.

"Harry, you are walking on your own." she said still in fright.

Harry as well look down at his feet, he also notice that he is walking on his

own, it is than the memory of what he had been doing comes back to his memory.

Harry himself is shock that, in his weariness he drops what was in his hand,

and the glass cup breaks to pieces. Harry look at his Mother and back to his

leg and then back to his Mother again, he is also looking at the cup that

breaks on the floor as well.

Mrs Rose as well still remains stunned at the turn of event, some second later,

she recovers from the shock and was okay again, she walks towards the dinning

room, she sits down and drink a glass of water first, she pour another water

and drinks it to half, finally her gaze turns toward Harry.
