Chapter 4 This is Just the Beginning!

"Where is this?"

The question escaped Nara's lips as Dimas's luxury vehicle came to a place that was very unfamiliar to her. There were several TV station logos displayed on several cars in front of her, and there was also a large crowd that aroused her curiosity.

"Did you bring all the papers?" asked Dimas, who asked another question.

Nara nodded, making her beautiful black hair move to cover part of her face. She was quite surprised when Dimas unhesitatingly corrected some of her hair, until unconsciously her eyes were glued to the man's handsome face.

"Beautiful!" He murmured unknowingly right in front of Nara. One corner of his lips lifted, revealing a small dimple on his right cheek.

"Thank you, Dimas. So... what should I do after this?" Nara slightly bit her lower lip, feeling awkward.

"Sorry, what did you just say?"

"Hmm, I mean... What should I do with all these papers? Should I give all the proof of marriage to Evan first to those reporters over there?"

"Oh yeah, sure! That's exactly what you should do. You just watch them from a distance first, and then go straight for them afterward!"

Dimas explained with his eyes still glued to Nara's nervous face. Again, he was amazed by the woman's new look. Until suddenly he moved to hold Nara's hand, who just wanted to leave.

"Why?" Nara asked with blinking eyes.

"Ah, no. I just wanted to encourage you. Don't feel insecure later, because you look much better now! Even more beautiful and attractive than your ex-husband's new wife!"

Nara smiled and nodded. Unconsciously, her cheeks reddened, so she walked quickly towards the reporters to cover her embarrassment for Dimas.

"Mr. Evan and Mrs. Bella! What do you think about your wedding being interrupted by a woman? Do you two know the woman? Who is she?" asked one of the news reporters, instantly breaking Nara's reverie.

"As I told you yesterday, she's just a crazy woman who claims to be my wife. She's a nobody and probably just wants to ride the fame of my beautiful wife!" Evan replied casually as he briefly kissed his new wife's hand affectionately.

The boisterous atmosphere of the reporters was increasingly heard, making Nara feel even more hurt and unacceptable with all the behavior of Evan, who seemed very happy to dump her.

"So that woman is just claiming? Didn't she know that you had a long relationship with Evan, Mrs. Bella?"

"I don't know about that. Like my husband said earlier, maybe she deliberately wanted to seek fame from me as a new artist so that she could be highlighted by various media." Bella replied by leaning on her husband's shoulder.

"Yes, that's right! The point is that everything that woman said is not true! Before marrying Bella, I was never married to anyone-"

"Lies!" snapped Nara, taking over the attention. "Evan was married before! The proof is me!" Nara emphasized once again, returning Evan's glare fearlessly. She finally came forward and stood right in front of her ex-husband.

"What do you want to do to me again, you hag?" Evan hissed softly, holding back all the emotions that had suddenly peaked. The situation immediately turned tense. The cameras were now trained on Nara and Evan, and all the journalists fell silent as they listened and waited for the next words to come out.

"Are you surprised that I'm here, my ex-husband? Or are you afraid that I'll expose all your secrets in front of all of them?" Nara said, making Evan squint at her even more.

Ignoring her ex-husband's piercing gaze, Nara turned to face the reporters around her. She did her best to shake off her nerves before finally showing off her marriage certificate to Evan as proof.

"I am Nara. Evan's ex-wife! If you still don't believe me, I can show you some more proof!" Nara said as she showed off her wedding photo and the divorce papers she had gotten just a few days ago.

The evidence that Nara showed to all the reporters in front of her was complete. She showed it all without hesitation, making Evan growl inwardly with one hand clenched tightly at his side.

"This man married me two months ago and just divorced me after mortgaging my house to get a huge loan from the bank! Do you all still not believe me?" Nara continued, making the people around her even more dumbfounded.

They were all shocked by the confession, as was Bella who was also speechless. The evidence shown by Nara was so strong that everyone could quickly believe all her words that had been considered lies.

"I'm telling you again, Nara! Cut out all your lies!" Evan warned as he held one of his ex-wife's hands.

"I'm not lying!" Nara shouted back quickly. "I'm not lying! He's the real cheater here!" She continued, ignoring Evan's growing frustration.

One forefinger pointed firmly at her ex-husband's face. There was a small feeling of satisfaction in her heart that she had more or less balanced the situation, especially since Evan's face now looked exactly as embarrassed as she had felt yesterday.

"The only reason I went to see him yesterday and today was to ask for everything he took from me! I don't want to go back to him at all, and I'm not even looking for fame like he said! I just want him to settle his debts so that my late father's only property can come back to me!" Nara concluded her confession session.

Afterward, Nara simply walked away. She didn't seem to care about the expression on Evan's face, who seemed shocked that she had unabashedly revealed all of his bad behavior, nor did she care about the reporters who were chasing after her to ask more questions about her problems with Evan.

"This is just the beginning, Evan! From this moment on, I will no longer allow you to be happy on top of my suffering! You must pay for the destruction of my life in kind! So that you can no longer underestimate me so easily!"
