Chapter 4 4. Aida

Ares was just being a jerk right about now; why can not this dickhead stop acting like he owns everything? I swear I better not be fated to this asshole. He received another text message directly from the little airhead. Aida lifts her bag as I glare at my phone, "Are you trying to use a hidden power, Bee?" She asked me teasingly; I had grown extremely close to Aida, and these feelings made me wonder how I felt about things. I was thinking that the meaning was to like Aida, but I will never tell her that. Or at least until I felt comfortable talking to her about it.

She stood there waiting for my response when I turned off my phone after texting my mother that I would call once I was settled in my room. "I am sorry, but if I had hidden power to stop the rain of dumb ass boys, I would use it in a blink of an eye," she said, laughing at my tired joke. We walked out of the airport to meet a woman holding up a building board with Aida's and my names on it; the uniform she was wearing had the academy name, "Luna Academy?" Aida asked when I went up front with my cellphone, "Show me your collar." The woman unbuttoned her first two buttons to reveal her collar; I scanned her to reveal she was the academy's shofar; "she is cleared; if not, it is been sent to the Academy and our parents. Ready?" I responded to Aida, who appeared surprised, "Yeah, dang Bee, that was cool, so that does work like a safety collar, damn that is smart. "You are my safety partner." I smiled at her words, "As long as you want," I said without thinking, falling into ideas better suited for a fated mate than two girlfriends. I shook my head; I needed to focus on anything other than Aida. But man, this was getting harder as time went on; we arrived at the academy not long after. And as I entered the large school building, I felt my leg jam from the plane, Aida was attempting to undo a stuck muscle on her, and the head director walked to the center of the small créame and white waiting room. Extending her hand I shook it as she introduced herself, "welcome to my academy, I'm Director. Dotting, I will be in charge of both your well-being throughout the duration of your education here; who do I have today enrolling so early?" I stood in good posture as she explained to me, "It is a pleasure to be here, Director." Dotting, my name is Bee Beep from the Meadows Pack, after harassment by the Fang Pack's soon-to-be Alpha. I simply could not continue studying there, so I decided to start developing my curriculum sooner, as I explained in my email. Her smile brightened at my introduction, as if she already knew who I was, which she most likely did based on her fancy collar. Director Dotting responded, "I am honored to have you assist our academy and would be willing to assist you in any further assistance; you can finish your last high school year and quickly start the classes, or you can combine them; there is no reason you can not do both, you are the Luna Beep." I smiled because that was the queue; since I made those collars, they have been branded Luna Beep. This is how I know they will not make my stay a living hell; as soon as I finished shaking her hand, she began talking to Aida, who was having a difficult time with the Director; an assistant from the school told me she would take me to my room, but I refused because the Director was not being fair to Aida. "Luna or not, we did inform you that these classes are not provided for free; they must be paid in advance before you can complete your high school diploma, begin your courses, and graduate." I turned them and marched myself to the Director, carrying my bag. I hit my credit card out, "it appears Director. Dotting has forgotten that Luna King has been under my pack's care until she can have her Luna ceremony, to inform you once more, Director. Everything should have been paid in full before we arrived, but it hasn't. We will patiently await the confirmation code from the academy." Aida appeared to have been rescued from a bear by an Angel. The director and her assistant left to do the check-up while I went in my cell to inform my pack, but before I did, Aida texted me, after which she kissed my cheek. My face felt hot after her kiss, and I decided to ignore the fact that I am blushing after a girl kissed me. I checked my cellphone to see what she had written. Aida| I would kiss you for saving my fat ass like a freaking Prince Charming! The text caused me to go from a small blush to a full-blown red tomato, so I turned to the side and began massaging my face to remove the blush; I can not believe I might have a crush on a girl! This cannot be happening; I have never found a girl attractive; thank God for saving me tomorrow. I planned my birthday because I knew I had school or, in my case, academic exams to pass before starting my academic lessons, "Are you okay there, Bee?" She inquired, and I nodded, hesitant to speak for fear of sounding puberty-squeaky. Hell no, I would die from embarrassment. "Are you sure?" She continued to press the issue, and I was just waiting for the director to save my furry behind, but to my disappointment, Aida walked in front of me and noticed my current state, "Wow Nelly, why are you so red there Bee? "It was an innocent kiss; are you surprised?" My eyes widened at her words; of course, I was embarrassed; I had never turned red like this or felt the way I did. The director finally arrived with an apologetic expression, which helped me compose myself faster. As she returned my card, I noticed she had a paper with her, and as she held it, she said, "I am sorry for this; it appeared it was wired to us directly, and we failed to confirm it with our system." We have the code to confirm it," she extended the papers, and I looked at Aida. "You do not hate me, Aida, but you need to be more persistent in your causes. We can help you, but what good is it if you do not learn to help yourself when you need it?" I explained this to Aida, who appeared to want to kick herself in the face. Aida walked forward and asked me, "Your right, I should be firmer when I am being helped; if that is okay with you, I will take this after you make a copy for Luna Bee." I smiled as she quickly realized what I had said; the director had sent her assistant to do so as she led us to our rooms, and because we had emailed them to find us together, we were on the same floor of this massive academy. When I entered, I was given a quick walkthrough, "Well Luna Beep, if you require anything, please let me or anyone with the blue uniform know," before she left. I asked her, "Are the rooms between students connected or not?" She shook her head no and left, leaving me alone in the room. I had this room all to myself, but it felt lonely without Aida here. Trying to stay focused on what I needed to do, I began unpacking my belongings and realized I had a lot more to unpack because all of the bags I had sent arrived sooner than me. When the door was knocked, I was prepared for the entire four years I would be living here. I always close the doors when I am in a room out of habit after Ares' parents planned a rogue attack. Walking, I unlock it to see a happy Aida, "I am all unpacked but wanted to know if it is okay for you to help me pick my clothes for this week because, truth be told, I am terrible at picking clothes," I stood frozen as I heard her, fuck my life.
