Chapter 10 Miracles and fate entwined

"Medical Conference Highlights:

"I haven't seen anything like this in my 10 years of being a doctor. This is out of the world, totally unbelievable. During her operation, I saw signs I hadn't seen before. She was dead; I could confirm at 2:45. After I declared her dead, she came back to reality after 10 minutes. I haven't seen anything like this," the doctor emphasized.

"Whatever it was that brought her back must be strong," the nurse added."

"Even though she has slipped back into a coma, this is still unbelievable," she remarked. Perplexed by the unexpected change of events, the medical team was forced to confront the fundamental enigma underlying Natalie's situation. Her path through life and death had taken an unexpected detour, leaving everyone in awe and bewilderment. We need to communicate with her relatives so that they prepare for whatever happens in the future.

Days, weeks, and a month had passed, and she had still not woken up from the coma. Brindle embraced the life she had always dreamed of, jet-setting from one country to another with Richard or occasionally enjoying solo adventures. She reveled in organizing lavish parties and living a glamorous lifestyle.

Meanwhile, Mr. Wood moved forward with his life, now accompanied by his new wife and the anticipation of an upcoming child. Despite his love for Brindle, he couldn't shake the regret and shame that lingered over how things had unfolded with Natalie. As days passed and everyone attempted to adjust to their new lives, Natalie remained in a coma due to the severity of the head injury from the accident.

"We can't keep her here, Miss Rose," the doctor informed Natalia's friend, the only one who was aware of her critical condition. "We need to transfer her out of the country since she can't respond to treatment. Even though her heart is still beating, this situation is beyond our understanding. We've never encountered anything like this, and we can't determine if she's out of danger. Considering that we can't transfer her to a larger hospital in this country for certain reasons, I would suggest transferring her to California. There, many doctors specialize in cases like hers."

Arrangements were made for Natalie's transfer abroad for continuous medical treatment. Her friend, Miss Rose, took measures to ensure that any traces of Natalie were discreetly removed, maintaining confidentiality about her critical condition. Miss Rose pondered on how the world seemed to take for granted Natalie's kind-hearted nature. Their friendship had flourished since high school, characterized by positive vibes. Despite Natalie's ascent to fame and wealth, she remained grounded and never forgot her roots. Miss Rose admired Natalie's enduring generosity. Natalie had been moved to California in the hope that the change might prompt her to wake from her coma. Having lost both parents over the years and being the only child she was now alone in the world, and saw Richard as her only remaining family, which made everything difficult, the situation was heartbreaking, and her fight for life seemed to make it harder for her to emerge from the coma. Each day, her condition deteriorated, and her chances of survival were diminishing.

"Who is she?" inquired a tall and fit doctor, observing one of the nurses tending to Natalie's room, changing tubes, and ensuring cleanliness. The nurse, responsible for Natalie's personal care at the hospital, responded.

"Oh, that's Natalie. She's been in a coma for nearly three months, and her condition has been quite complicated," the nurse explained. The doctor, curious about the complexity of the case, inquired further.

"How complicated?" he asked. The nurse replied, "More than complicated, Doc. She was transferred from Canada because of the intricacies of her case. There are some great doctors over there, some of the best in the world." He said

Hmm you're right, I think due to some reasons they were saying and considering her influence in Canada, the nurse said......... The doctor nodded, and after a moment of contemplation, walked out of the room.

Rose encountered Richard at a gathering of an organization. Noticing her, Richard excused himself from a conversation with other board members and approached her. Rose, a long-time family friend and the person Natalie was closest to, appeared visibly upset at his presence.

"Have you heard or seen Natalie?" Richard inquired, seeking information. Rose, without uttering a word, delivered a resounding slap. Without missing a beat, she pointed a furious finger at him.

"Don't you ever dare ask me where Natalie is again after everything you've done to her. Natalie trusted you, Richard, and what did you do to her? Answer!" Rose demanded, gripping him by the shoulder. As she continued to express her anger and concern, she issued a stern warning: "If something ever happens to my friend, I will hold you accountable." With that, she walked away, leaving Richard speechless and remorseful. He stood there, taken aback by the sudden turn of events.

Returning home, he noticed a shift in the decor. People were bustling about, moving items in and out. "Hey," Brindle called out, catching his attention. "You're already here?" she inquired, realizing he seemed surprised by the activity in the house.

"Oh, this," Brindle explained, "I wanted a change here." Richard looked at her with a puzzled expression. "Yes, a change. Our baby will be here soon, so I want to adjust things to my taste before she arrives," she said with a smile. Richard, without uttering a word, headed towards their bedroom, processing the news and changes in their home.

Seated on his bed, lost in contemplation, he grabbed his phone, dialed a number, and placed a call.
