Chapter 7 Tangled

Present:

Everything felt like a puzzle for Abigail. 'The audacity of him to tell her, get married to him.' If only she could complain to the cops that she is trapped into this loveless marriage. Abby now knows why Pablo all of a sudden appeared in place of Nelson.

She slowly could connect the missing dots of the jigsaw puzzle. This cash rich anthropoid came only to capture her in his web. Zoey was not even under his radar. He came to take revenge for the slap she made on him once upon a time. The tears till then she kept restricted were now drowning her like a river. Thankfully she had a veil covering her face. Her life is ruined.

Slowly whispers started among the crowd. "We know you are deeply in love with each other. But you have a whole life to do that. So stop staring and start acting." Someone shouted from the crowd.

And that's when awareness dawned on Abigail. Suddenly the whole church was filled with people as opposed to a deserted island moments ago? Did she get transported to another world?

"How did...when did so many guests..." Before Abigail could post a sea of questions to him "shh" he pushed his finger on her lips.

"How will the world's richest man get married without guests?" There goes his cockiness again.

"I thought you could come to the marriage a little earlier." William said to Axle with pointed eyes.

"I think I hit you with enough currency to keep your lips sealed. For your kind information I am not an unemployed dumb goat like you who has the time of a whole world. I had an emergency shareholders meeting." Axle played his brows dominantly looking down at William making him feel smaller than already he is, with his apt reply.

"It is okay. I understand, you are a very busy man." William gulped heavily with fear in a plastic silly grin and left the place as if he received an electric shock.

Emma was sitting in the front row with twinkles in her eyes. Beside Emerald was Phoenix who was clapping with tears of happiness while Asher leaned over her softly patting her shoulder with an ebullient grin.

The wedding vows started. The rings were exchanged. Everybody was happy in the guest row except one person who was extremely jealous looking at the beautiful pair. Zoey.

Her face turned red as if someone gobsmacked her. "Dad, how did this happen? When...why..." No proper words came out of Zoey in shock. Her throat felt dry.

William could understand the undisputed turmoil of his daughter. He gave her a glass of water which she drank like a thirsty crow and only then she came back to her senses. "Dad you should have got this bitch married to that handicapped specimen. I am surprised, why is the country's richest man with knocking looks locking his eyes with that redhead bint?"

"I don't like him either. The hombre is clever with a smart mouth as an extra qualification." William shrugged watching the wedding happen with treacherous eyes.

"Two days ago like a windfall he came knocking at our door. And the only thing he wanted was to marry Abby. In return he would give us ten million dollars to wipe away all our dues. Your dad couldn't deny the offer. We wanted our business to start floating like before. You're anyhow only a bothering parasite with no use. So your dad made use of the opportunity." Nora told Zoey bluntly.

"Mom, how could you be so heartless to your own blood? Being Axle's wife, I could gain access to all his properties, estates and businesses. Then we no longer need to run pillar to post in need of loans and shift houses to blind the eyes of our creditors." Zoey spoke hastily to her mother.

"All that happens only if he is willing to marry you. But he wanted to marry only Abby." She replied morosely.

"You may now kiss the bride." - They were the only words that Zoey could register in her chaotic mind after her parents' blunt disclosure. Her face turned red with envy predicting the happy life of her sister with the charming Venus.

"Don't you dare kiss me?" Abby's voice shivered with pensiveness but with firmity in her eyes that were emitting streaks of fire.

His rough large hands cupped Abigail's cheek. Her heart was beating so harshly against the rib cage that she thought it would burst out at any moment. She involuntarily looked at the crowd and all her anxiety was lost with the air. Abby saw the shocked and regretful face of Zoey and the words of Axle flew up from her head.

Axle presented a crafty grin. "I care two hoots for your feelings. You are mine until I have my revenge on you completely." With the words said he pulled her face closer to him and attached his lips with hers.

Abigail came back to the world with his touch. She firmly closed her lips restricting his entry. "I get what I want. You cannot stop me." Axle spoke dominatingly between their kiss and pinched her waist surreptitiously.

She gasped with the action and that was his clue to enter her mouth. The kiss implanted his reign, supremacy and control on her. Plunged into the waves of writhing sea, his soft caress on her lips overpowered her senses with the lumination of a fierce fervency. It sought an unreachable terminus near her uvula which much against her perception wiggled and pulsated. Her heart made contrived sweeps inside the vault of her ribcage. She lolled helpless with her eyes clenched shut, in a trance of his tongue.

Axle's heart raced faster and faster as her face got closer to him. He knew from the beginning, since the day he first saw her, that when he kissed this girl, he would forever get entangled with unutterable visions of her perishable breath. His mind would never romp again to the naked truth between them but to fall in love with her. He waited, listening to the erratic beating of his heart for a moment longer trying to control. But it was out of his reign which worked like a tuning fork that had been struck upon a star. Then he kissed her again and this time with persuasion, love and rapture.

At his lips' touch she blossomed like a flower and the incarnation felt complete."
