Chapter 5 Mate is gone

CASSIE POV

I woke up in an unfamiliar room, I tried to recall how I got there, all I could remember is me crying in the woods, then I fell asleep, so who brought me here? How did I get here ? I thought to myself.

I tried to get up when a young pretty lady walks in.

"Hey you are finally awake." She said smiling, she has a very beautiful and contagious smile, I couldn't help but smile back at her also.

"Sorry who are you? What I'm I doing here, how did I get here?" I asked not caring how many questions I was asking at a time.

"My name is Mina, we are in rogue pack." She replied still smiling.

I was so surprised when I heard her, what? Rogue pack, the second most powerful and Ruthless pack in the world, what the fuck! How did I get here I asked myself .

"How did I get here?" I asked looking terrified and scared but most importantly, I was surprised, this place has always been the worst nightmare of my old pack, nobody from an unknown pack dare to come here unless he or she is ready to die, and I was not ready to die but how did I get here?

"Well the alpha brought you here, you were unconscious when be brought you and he told me to take care of you, hold on I'm coming let me inform him that you are awake." She said and left the room.

Some minutes later A guy walked into the room. He was putting on a vintage shirt and a short, he looks so breathtaking, even though he dressed casually he was still handsome, he has an ocean blue eyes that makes his handsomeness stand out, I didn't know I was staring at him for so long until he coughed to bring me back from my dream world.

"Oh my goodness, Cassie our mate just abandoned us not even up to 24 hours yet. Here you are undressing this cute guy with your eyes, and later you will call me a lustful and horny wolf, well done cassie." Nikky teased me. I couldn't help but blush.

"Are you okay?" The cute guy in front of me asked with a worried look on his face, damn he is so cute.

"I'm fine, how did I get here?" I asked still checking him out.

"I guess you like what you see." He said smiling I couldn't help but blush shyly, he just caught me checking him out.

"Sorry." I apologized.

"Well you pass out in the woods so I brought you here, you can stay here for as long as you want and you can leave anytime you want, I will ask the maid to bring you some food, we will talk later when I'm back." He said and left in a hurry.

Few minutes later Mina walks in with a tray full of food, nobody has given me a tray full of food in my life, so when I saw it I couldn't help but salivate when the aroma of the food hit my nostrils.

She passed the food tray to me and I dug into it immediately, the food taste so good, and they was a lot of food on the tray, I smiled happily and tasted them all, they were so delicious.

KING SCOTT POV

I woke up excited. Today was the day I am bringing my mate home, I couldn't help but smile at the thought of it.

I walk into the shower and took a quick bath I can't wait to meet her officially.

I brought out my suit, I was about to wear it when I hear a sound of laughter on my head.

"Seth, why are you laughing." I asked getting upset.

"Why are you wearing a suit, are you going for a business meeting, No, are you going for a job interview, hahahaha, sometimes I ask myself what I did wrong to the moon goddess to makes her pair me up with an old fashioned and senseless human like you." He said acting all dramatic.

"Fine then choose a cloth for us to wear." I said while opening the wardrobe.

"Do you want to scare our mate away, please we need to Change our wardrobe when coming back because if our mate sees this she will think we run a funeral home because all our clothes are black." He said acting as if this was the first time he was seeing our wardrobe. Black was our favorite color.

I couldn't help but laugh at his change of behavior, we always like wearing black clothes that was why our wardrobe was filled with black clothes but now he is acting as if he doesn't know.

"I know black is our favorite color but things has changed we now have a beautiful mate and we know girls prefer light colors." He said smiling.

I pick a white vintage shirt and a white shirt, I comb my hair and wore my diamonds watch and ring, when I was done dressing, I stared at the mirror to admire my handsome self before leaving my room, I walked to my car, got inside and drove to dark moon park.

2 hours later We got to dark moon pack, I walked inside the pack house earning a lot of greeting from everyone but I ignored them, I was too excited to reply anyone's greeting all I wanted now was to see my mate.

"Your majesty, you didn't tell me, you we're coming today, I would have prepared a big feast for you." Dark moon pack alpha Damien said with a weird smile plastered on his face. I could sense his fear but I ignored it.

"No need for that, I'm here to pick my mate, I met her at the coronation yesterday, I don't know her name cause I didn't get the chance to speak with her yesterday, she was putting on a maid uniform and holding a tray full with glass cup that were filled with wine, she has a brown hair and hazel eyes." I said looking straight into his eyes.

"Oh that will be Cassie, hold let me call the head maid Mariam to get her for you." He said mind linking Mariam.

"Good morning, your majesty." Mariam greeted bowing her head.

"Mariam please call, Cassie here." Damien said.

"I'm sorry alpha but I can't find her in the pack, I checked her room and noticed that she packed all her things and left." Mariam said bowing her head.

"What! What do you mean by she left?" I asked trying to control my anger and my wolf from taking over.

"Please your majesty, she will be back don't worry, we will find her I know she's not that far from here, we will find her." Damien said terrified and scared.

Well he should be because if he doesn't find my mate I'm gonna turn his pack into a funeral ground.

"I give you two days to find to find her." I said angrily and left.
