Pink

I didn't say a word as I stood there silently staring at the king in front of me. The moment I laid eyes on him, I fell in love. But what gives him the right to call me his Mate?! Does that indicate that he approved of me? But I appeared to be dirt poor and disheveled because my clothes were covered in mud and sweat.

Working day and night at the castle kept me away from the everyday lives of werewolves, so I didn't even know his name at that point. I blame the castle. In my situation, I was even worse. Since I didn't continue my education and didn't have any opportunities to practice, I am considered to be nothing more than a "illiterate Luna."

My thoughts were unable to process the gentleness in the king's eyes, which suggested that he had at last found the source of his happiness in me.

However, why? He held the record for being the most powerful Alpha King ever. It would not be difficult for him to choose someone else in my place. Why me?

He gently pulled my hand and then gently kissed the top of my hand while doing so. Even though it made me shiver slightly, I didn't dislike it when he touched me.

I blinked. "Your Majesty, I am at a loss for words."

He removed his expensive jacket and draped it over my shoulder before asking, "Why my Luna?" My heart skipped a beat like a bat flying through the night because of the sweetness in his tone. As if the sunrise occurred at an ungodly hour.

"I don't have any money, and I'm filthy, and..." I apologize for my tone of voice; I was trying to explain that it made me feel disgusted with myself.

He cupped my cheeks and gazed intently into my eyes, as if he were reading my thoughts or my history. It was as if he were using one of his powers to infiltrate my very being "Pink? When he asked, "Right?" I nodded my head while concealing a slight blush.

"Where exactly do you call home? "What part of town do you call home?" he inquired.

Because of that, I found myself getting snippy. What exactly ought to I tell him? That I am the princess who was adopted? Or that I was abandoned in the woods by my biological parents many years ago? Or that I was beaten and made to work as a maid against my will!

"Do you want to hear the truth?" I asked with some trepidation in my voice. I asked him.

He showed a grin, "certainly, each and every one. I despise people who tell lies. Keep that in mind."

I took a few steps backward while nervously twiddling my fingers and scanning the area around me. His pack surrounded us. Some of his friends, guards, and betas were included.

On the other hand, you reclaimed yourself and said what I should say, which is that I did not want anyone's vengeance. I just wanted to get away from everything and begin a new life. But what if he decided that he did not want to be his mate after hearing the whole story?

He noticed that I had been staring off into space for a while, so he moved closer to me while asking, "Where do you live, Pink?"

I couldn't help but blurt out "in the royal castle."

"If that's the case, then follow me. There is no need for you to say anything at all. I will determine the solution on my own "he stated it with self-assurance, as if he was already aware of it.

As soon as he grabbed my hand, I was brought back to the moment when I had just escaped from Derek and Garrett. I recalled that they might gossip about me behind the back of the Alpha King, or they might even try to kill me in front of his eyes.

I smiled and shook my head "I won't be going there, no thanks. Please let me go. You will not defend me in any way. There, nobody has any use for me. Everyone in the pack despises me."

After that, I heard a growl, and then he turned his head to his men, and he commanded them, "Now everyone, inform the king of the pack that I'm coming."

One of the men made a dash for it. I was unsure of the reason(s) for their presence in the woods at that particular time.

The King grabbed me and hugged me to his chest, saying, "You are my mate, my Luna. I will protect you, and so will all of the other werewolves. Is that clear?" "Are you ready?" he asked.

I blinked, "promise me?" I made a serious commitment by simply pointing my finger at you in a childish way.

He gave a light chuckle before making the sign of the cross with his promise finger and mine. A significant amount of time was spent looking for you. "I promise you by my life." By the way, are you familiar with my given name?"

I couldn't help but shake my head in humiliation. I felt awkward. "No, sorry, my king. I had no idea that you were the Alpha King until just now. I'm sorry, but I didn't even get any opportunities to practice using my abilities." I've tried to make amends in a few different ways.

Because he felt sorry for me, he gently pecked the dirty spot on my forehead and said, "Don't be sorry. There is no need for you to practice. Because you will eventually take your place as queen. You will be guarded by all of the packs and kingdoms, as well as by myself."

The words of my late father, King Valdo, came flooding back to me at that moment, and I blurted out, "That's what my father said," without even thinking. I muttered.

He examined me once more, this time from my toes to my hair, and his brows furrowed. Then why are you wearing...?" "Your father, King Valdo!"" I have a feeling that he stopped when he detected a rancid odor.

I could feel his strong hands lifting me as if I were a bride. I sputtered, but I didn't argue with her when she said, "You are so frail and small. You are not going to be able to walk that entire distance. "I'm glad I'm taller than you because that means I can carry you the entire way."

I was embarrassed as I pressed my head against his broad chest and said, "I'm not tiny, my king. But you are extremely tall and powerful."

He was walking and laughing the whole time, and his royal pack was right behind him. I didn't talk at all. Several topics were brought up in the conversation between him and his men. And I guess that because I was so relaxed in his arms, I dozed off for a few minutes at some point.

While I was asleep, I mumbled, "I miss you, daddy. However, my brothers did not attempt to shield me." I suppose that tears were running down my cheeks at the time.

Because of this, I was comforted by the feeling of a warm hand wiping away my tears. But I didn't wake up. It wasn't until I heard horns and voices cheering that I realized the king had arrived.

When I did, it was the first time that I had ever heard his voice. "Greetings, King Valdo," the host said.

They noticed me in the middle of the king's arms despite the noises and cheering that were going on around us.

The wise old man was my late father's closest friend. He was the only person who made an effort to assist me, and he did so not for my own benefit but for the benefit of the kingdom. Because I was the king's daughter, he attempted to persuade the entire pack that if they did anything to me, including disowning me, abusing me, or even turning me into a maid, the kingdom would be cast into the depths of hell.

However, due to the fact that he was too old, nobody believed him. They made jokes about the things he said.

When I opened my eyes, the name Valdo was in front of me, and I mumbled, "Dad, Valdo. Are you still alive? You didn't die?"

Then I came to the realization that it wasn't a particularly long nightmare. He passed away, and the succeeding monarch was-. He helped me to stand on my own two feet. and tucked the end of a strand of my hair behind my ear. "I have the title of King in Valdo." "Nice coincidence I guess." He gave me a friendly smile and a peck on both cheeks.

I started to shiver as soon as I heard my brothers, Garett and Derek, stomping their way towards me. I managed to stay hidden from the king, Valdo. But Derek lacked any sense of shame. He drew me to him and asked, "What are you doing, Pink, with King Valdo?" I told him I was with Pink. " Proceed back to the kitchen at this time.

My brother Derek was in the middle of speaking when he was abruptly stopped by the hands of King Valdo, who pushed him so hard that he staggered and then said, "Take your dirty hands off my pink now." He did so in an aggressive and commanding manner while delivering the statement.

Derek heaved a breath in and coughed, "What's Your Pink? I am curious as to what you mean by your highness."

The king, Valdo, intertwined our fingers and looked at Derek and Garett with an eyebrow raised as he said, "She's my mate, my Luna, and soon she will be the queen of all the Alphas."

Oh my god! I was having trouble understanding what was being said. My eyes were having trouble focusing. My mental capacity could not handle the joy. I have just passed out.
