Chapter 5 I am not a slut

Alex observed her raising her voice in despair. He knew his words had hurt her, but he couldn't understand why his mate turned out to be half-human and half-she-wolf. Alex mindinked and connected with his Omega. They communicated through mind-linking and Alex told him to direct two of the royal guards to the place he was. Malcolm, upon receiving the Alpha's message, walked to two of the guards outside the hall and directed them to meet the Lycan king.

The guards approached Alex and Daisy on the balcony. They bowed their heads to greet the king. "Take her to my chambers," he commanded the two guards standing.

Daisy, upon seeing the guards move towards her, tried to step back from them. She raised one of her hands and muttered, "Don't touch me!"

The guards only closed the distance and grabbed her by her arms. "Leave me alone. I will leave!" she said as she tried to wiggle out of their hold. With their strength, she could guess they were humans. She bit the guard, holding her right hand on his shoulders. The guard released her from his hold and rubbed his arm in pain.

"Don't touch me!" She screamed; her eyes welled up in tears. Alex was infuriated when he saw the guard holding Daisy. He had to keep himself from giving them a blow; he is affected by this woman even though he has not yet marked her.

Alex told the guards to go back to their posts. He knew the human was weak, but who knew she knew how to bite well? He walked towards her at a slow pace and watched her eyes contort in pain.

"I need to see my mother. She is waiting for me." She said it in a stern voice.

"And you think I will let you do that? I just told you; you are my mate."

"And you just claimed Lady Ivy to be your fated mate. I don't want you!" She yelled as she rubbed her wet eyes with the back of her hands.

"I will send for your mother. But you cannot leave my side, Daisy. I can't let you go," he said calmly, walking closer towards her. Daisy knew she wouldn't be able to take him down; he was far stronger than her. However, she vowed to do her best to make him suffer. Just as he was about to touch her hand, Daisy made an attempt to bite him, just like he did to the guards, but he caught her cheek just in time and carried her over his back.

"Leave me alone!" she cried as he began to walk down the terrace steps.

"I will scream," she said, hitting his back from behind. She didn't expect the king to do something like this to her.

"Then do it," he said calmly as he walked into the heart of the palace, still carrying her. Daisy tried to scream, but she found out she couldn't. She tried again, but her voice was stuck.

"Oh no," she thought in her mind. The weight of being an alpha comes with great responsibility and exceptional special abilities.

"Don't make any attempt to force your voice out if you don't want your insides to burst," Alex said as he continued walking deeper inside the palace.

Daisy remained mute as he walked into a room and dropped her on the bed. She tried to ask him what she was doing in his room, but she couldn't even speak. She sat up on the bed with her legs dangling.

Seeing the Alpha King turning his back to her, she quickly looked for any harmful objects to defend herself if he wanted to try anything funny. She knew her mother would have been looking for her, and she would be worried if she didn't see her on time.

Daisy rose gently from the bed and tried to make her way towards the long pin lying on the small table beside her in the bed. The pin was almost within her reach, but not until she found a hand picking the pin up before her hand could reach it. She looked up and found the Lycan King shirtless, his dreamy eyes looking down at her.

"Oh, moon goddess, save me from this temptation," she mumbled inside as she couldn't voice it out.

"Are you trying to hurt me with this?" he asked delicately as he looked at her in her vulnerable state. She used her head to tell him no as she shook her head vigorously. The Lycan walked towards her, and Daisy began to move back, shaking her head in protest.

"Is he going to kill me now after seeing that I'm a dangerous woman?" Daisy asked herself as she began to walk back. Her hands began to shake, and she felt her leg hit the bedside. Her heart thudded in her chest as she watched him walk closer to her. Daisy wrapped her hand around her bosom as she continued to shake her head.

Alex watched her with intrigue as he saw different emotions on her face. With the snap of his fingers, he released her, and Daisy found her voice back.

"I want to go home!" she rasped as soon as she found her voice back.

"This is home, Daisy," he said, turning back with the pin still in his hands.

"Did he just try to intimidate me?" Daisy asked herself as she saw him retreating into the bathtub. A faint cloth lining separated the room from the bathtub. She saw him move his hands towards his trousers. She closed her eyes instantly when she saw him undressing himself. Alex submerged himself in the bathtub and relaxed his body.

Daisy opened her eyes and looked at the bathtub, but she couldn't find him. Daisy didn't have time to look at the beautiful room as she dashed towards the door. She tried to unlock the door, but she couldn't. Suddenly, the doorknob and the door were pushed open. Daisy moved back to at least hide from the person, but the figure had already come in.

Daisy saw Lady Ivy walk in, clad in a short night dress that accentuated her figure. She could see the tips of her breasts poking out of the cloth, and she smelled of roses. Daisy bowed her head as the woman gave her a dirty look.

"Are you one of the sluts that the King beds? Where is the king?" Ivy asked the strange woman in the beautiful clothes. She could see the woman was not a maid as she wore a fancy dress.

"I'm not a slut, my queen," Daisy replied, as she couldn't take more insults today. "This woman is supposed to know her place." Daisy thinks as she averts her gaze from her.

Ivy smiled at her comment and walked inside the room to sit on the bed. She crossed her legs as her thighs became exposed. "Why not leave the room then?" Whatever Ivy was going to say was cut short when she saw Alex walking towards her in his full glory. He wore long pants that hung low around his waist, while his upper body was exposed.

Daisy found herself following Ivy's line of sight to see the Lycan King walking towards them as water dripped down his body. His hair was disheveled, his taut muscles and six-packs were exposed, and his abs moved as he took every step. Ivy walked towards him, and they both met halfway. Daisy watched the most shocking scene of her life as Ivy raised her legs by standing on her tiptoes and kissed the Alpha King on the lips.

"I miss your touch," Ivy whispered against his lips.
