Chapter 2 2

They rushed at me at the same time, so I ran to a light pole. I went up there and spun around, so I kicked both of them at the same time.

I took the gun from my thigh and shot them in the chest. I was about to turn around when I heard a gunshot.

"Weak creatures-only women who have not yet been able to be put to sleep," said a man behind me.

"Put down your gun and face me," he ordered, so I quickly obeyed.

I slowly lowered the gun and looked bored at him. One is also wearing a mask.

"What do you need?"

I had not finished speaking when he pulled the trigger of the gun. I looked at my shoulder where it hit me; the bullet was a needle.

I fell to the floor because of the dizziness. My vision is getting blurry, and it's like someone is pulling me to sleep.

This is my last mission to Silvertian, but I might be kidnapped. What luck!

"Sweet dreams, Krill. The boss needs you as bait."

Said the man who shot me before I completely lost consciousness.

I approached him and touched his face. We both stared at each other.

"Here!" I shouted and punched him in the jaw.

"Blyad!" His Russian was bad, so I ran.

I hadn't gotten far from the door when he grabbed my waist. In the scene, he was hugging me, and his hands were around my waist, as if we were going to dance.

"You'll pay for punching me, Agent Krill," he said angrily.

I was surprised when he quickly spun me around and gave me a chop on the back of my neck. Immediately, my vision went blurry, and I fell to the floor.

"Sleep, you daughter of a bitch," I heard him say sternly before I passed out.

Charlotte's POV:

"Charlotte, I told you not to leave Ellinita!" George yelled at me while we were here at the headquarters.

"I'm sorry, because Krill is naughty. She said she can handle herself."

"That's what I'm saying. You shouldn't have left her anyway!" George said, dumbfounded.

I didn't say anything, and I just lowered my head. It won't change anything if I argue with this one.

"Hey Gordon, calm down. Our other VIP agents will also loom for Agent Krill. I'm just here; you can talk to me."

I just gasped because Mereoleona Petrov, aka Agent Leon, is here again. The obstacles and creeps in the love story of George and my best friend, Agent Krill.

"You're here again, Agent Leon? Can't you accept that Agent Doom and Agent Krill are in a relationship? You're one of a heck flirty." I said so straight that Leon's mouth dropped open.

"Excuse me, Agent Ripper, the envious woman; I'm not a flirt. Doom and I are just friends, right?" He asked George, so the man just nodded.

"You know, I don't know about you, George. When Ellinita finds out that you're still getting close to that Mereoleona, she'll definitely get jealous. You know when she gets jealous, right?" I asked George, so he swallowed.

I stood up from the sofa and took my jacket from the side. I left the headquarters and went to the office of Mr. Lumina.

We are not allowed to call each other by our real names. We can only call each other by our code name for some reasons. There was no one here; it was just us at the headquarters of the VIP agents, so no one could hear our conversation.

I'm here in front of the office of Mr. Lumina. I knocked three times before entering.

"Good morning, Mr. Lumina," I greeted as I entered.

He just nodded at me and pointed to the seat in front of him. I sat there and stared at him.

"Okay, fine, speak now." I surrendered to Mr. Lumina after I showed my puppy eyes.

"Sir, do you have any news about Agent Krill? Where is my best friend? Have you seen her? Is Agent Krill still alive? Is she just around the corner? Have you gotten any information yet? ? What's the news about the VIP Agents you sent?" I asked one question after another, Mr. Lumina.

"Agent Ripper, calm down. Agent Krill has been kidnapped by an as yet unknown large syndicate. They sent a letter demanding a billion dollars in exchange for Agent Krill's release. They are also asking for a nuclear bomb as a guarantee of Krill's return alive." Explanation of Mr. Lumina goodness, I just held my breath.

In that case, it looks like we're going to have a hard time getting ellinita. It seems like a big syndicate kidnapped her; the work we will do to get Ellinita back is no joke.

Mr. Lumina's cellphone rang; that's why he looked at me. I saw that Agent DB's name was written there. I gave puppy eyes to Mr. Lumina, so he took a breath and pressed the loud speaker.

"Hello, sir, we got some new information," Agent DB said on the other line, so Mr. and I looked at each other.

"What's that?" Mr. Lumina asked.

"Agent Krill is now in Vietnam. She was in the hands of an ex-mafia member in Germany. That man is known to be cunning and unforgiving," DB explained on the other line.

I pulled out my hair. How can this possibly be? Maybe later, I won't even see Ellinita's nails.

"Do you know who the ex-mafia and now a syndicate you are referring to?" Mr. Lumina asked.

"Yes, sir, the most wanted person on our list. is none other than Lorcan Fredrich Ikranova, sir," Agent DB said.

"Isn't he the one who blew up our air base in Mexico? And he also knows what Novachrono's plans and intentions are?" I couldn't stop asking Mr. Lumina.

"Yes, Agent Ripper. That's him, no one else," he answered sadly.

Ellinita, you lucky bitch. I might not even see your fingernails.
