Chapter 4 Plans

Mork's face closed, "What an annoying creature," he thought angrily.

Elena finds herself pinned against the wall and a very angry man in front of her, Mork reaches out and squeezes her neck, she tries to break free, but she is much weaker than he is. As Mork squeezed Elena's neck he felt as if an invisible hand was squeezing his own neck slowly he began to feel short of breath and when his vision blurred he released her and left the hut, "I shouldn't have done that," said his wolf as he recovered, "I'm not going to argue with you now Drago."

"You madman, you could have killed me."

"I still want to kill you" says Mork staring at her, then opens a portal to the Silver Moon pack "Get out before I change my mind."

Elena doesn't give it a second thought and walks through the portal with a limp.

"What an annoying woman" she says to herself.

"I'm sorry Alpha, I didn't realize I was with you."

"She's nobody, when I freed her she was in the cave and got hit, so I had mercy and brought her here to recover." Maison knew that Mork was notorious for not having a heart, and now he felt foolish for what he had said.

"What are your plans now Alpha?"

"Vengeance Maison, that's the plan, I'll crush every person who helped condemn me" for Mork there was no forgiveness for what had been done to him, years of his life had been lost because of other people and he would seek the truth, and judge them according to his will, an advantage of being the most powerful person in the kingdom.

"What about your other side Alpha? Is it under control?" Mork was a hybrid, one of the reasons he was so hated

"Yes, I've been without energy for a long time, so it's dormant for now."

"If you need my help, just let me know."

"But first I need you to investigate that woman for me, she's from the Silver Moon pack" he needed to know more about her, he didn't want to run the risk of other people discovering her whereabouts.

"I'll do it right away," he said as he left. Maison knew that his Alpha didn't like to be contradicted.

As soon as Maison left, Mork was thinking about something: "Drago, did you notice that she didn't recognize us?" This was bothering him, because as far as he knew, when they met a companion, they recognized each other immediately, first by attraction and then by the scent they exuded towards each other, but at no time had she shown any sign of recognizing him, and this was making him rethink whether he was really right. "She's our companion, I'm sure, but something's bothering me," Mork was puzzled, his wolf wasn't one to be surprised by little things, "and what is it?" he asked, "I felt as if your wolf was numb," Mork was surprised, but that would explain why she was limping, if her wolf was numb she wouldn't have the ability to regenerate. "Whatever it is, we'll know as soon as Maison gets back," he says to Drago, who agrees with a snort.

Silver Moon Pack

From the beginning of that day Marui had had a bad feeling, and when he saw the black wolf in the sky it was confirmed, Mork had escaped, he was burning with rage for allowing this to happen, his worst nightmare had come true, now all the packs were in danger, he knew that Mork would come after him and his pack, he wanted revenge and there wasn't much he could do. When he arrived at the cave something caught his eye, a hole near the seal and next to it a basket with herbs, it didn't take a genius to know who it was, Elana, now he would have one more problem to solve, but before he could say anything to his mother Queen Olisa appeared.

"How could this happen!" she shouts at everyone present.

"From what I can see, he's had help, Your Majesty," says the witch Marie, pointing to the basket of herbs on the floor.

"But who in the Silver Moon pack would have the audacity to help free the king's murderer?" Olisa was known for showing no mercy to anyone, everyone in the pack feared her power.

"That sounds like the renegade sire, that girl lives in the forest gathering herbs," said another witch.

"We have no proof that she did it," says Maruí, holding her anger in her chest, "We can't accuse her without proof, we're not barbarians."

The queen looked at her son puzzled, she knew that Maruí visited Elena, nothing happened without her knowing, but this relationship didn't please her, she had other plans for her son and wouldn't allow just anyone to stand in her way.

"My son's right," she said with a smile, "we can't accuse her without proof, so we'll find her and question her, and above all make sure it's done fairly." Despite Olisa's words, Maruí wasn't stupid enough not to realize his mother's plan, he had long since realized how cruel she could be when she wanted to.

"I don't want her to be hurt," said Maruí, staring at his mother. "She's been looking after the underprivileged in the pack for years, she deserves our respect for all the work she's done."

"Oh my son! I would never allow the girl to be harmed without proof, rest assured that everything will be done correctly."

When it came to Olisa, there was no such thing as too much caution, and she had long since made her displeasure at Elena's presence in the kingdom clear. If it had been up to her, Elena would have been banished long ago; a wolf who couldn't transform was just a burden to the pack in the queen's view.

Marui knew that there was nothing more he could do, he hoped that for once his mother would do what she had said.
