Chapter 3 CHRIS POV

CHRIS POV

After what father did to Ronny I avoided talking to him at all cost. What annoys me is that he wants to backseat lead the pack, a pack he said he couldn't handle anymore. He did not have any relationship with other packs and we were not doing so great. I took over and started training our people, made new friends and smart choice. And now that Blue lake pack is the number one most feared and strongest pack around the south he wants to made important decision behind my back.

I made us grow our own food, we have good soil and a lot of water. We make our own food and save a lot on buying from the towns. We built our own houses and thanks to my business degree, I build a company that is very successful. We have a private security company that has been voted the best 3 years in a row. We opened up a fruit and veggies shop down town too. With all this I was able to pay off all the money father has been borrowing.

I made friends with other packs that buy our food, we also protect small packs at a low price. Some we advice to train with us so they can protect themselves, they fall under us but are very much independent. One of my friends is Jackson from the Golden Rob pack, they are second most strongest pack.

I help train his youngest daughter, I like him because he doesn't force his daughter on me. She is smart and warriors like.

Unlike most she-wolves she attend meetings with her father to learn more how to best protect wolfs and serve the pack. She found her mate already, from another pack. He is soon to be alpha, sweet and down to earth kind of guy. After Ronny left for home I stayed in my room for a while, he was hurt and I understand.

I ended up falling asleep, being an alpha I am always on alert. The second someone enters my room I am up, I am ready to defend myself. But the only weakness in this, is that I don't feel the need to protect myself from my mate. I did smell Ronny coming in but I did not feel the need to wake up. You know that feeling you have especially in the morning, you want to wake up but your body says nope.

Your in and out of sleep, most times you doze off. I was feeling like that, my body wanted to sleep but my mind was up. I don't know what happened but I ended up falling back to sleep. Later on I woke up, and I immediately froze. I felt warm hands making cycles on my chest. I did not know what to say but I loved it, I wanted to stay in bed with him laying on my chest but I couldn't risk being caught like this.

Chris- Ronny?

Roman- sorry, I did not want to wake you. You looked so peaceful.

He said that while getting up, I held his hand and he stopped. But he was still not facing me.

Chris- I am sorry about what father did.

Roman- it's alright, anyway I see you took my advice.

Chris- regarding?

Roman- the mate thing. Your mother is already preparing housing, invitation have been sent out.

Chris- what are you talking about?

Roman- your having a gathering starting the day after tomorrow, lasting 3 days.

Chris- THE FUCK! I did not agree to any party Ronny you know me.

Ronny- you will let me know when you want to.... You know.

He got up from the bed and left, he was so fast I did not even get a chance to say anything. My wolf howled in pain, my chest was hurting again. He was talking about rejection! I felt like I lost my ability to breath, I quickly pulled the sheets he laid in and inhaled his scent. It helped a bit but I was still in pain, soon the pain turned into anger.. who the fuck planed a party for me without informing me.

I did not bother bathing I took off to find my father. He was with the elders, good I don't have to repeat myself. They saw me coming and straighten up, but father was stubborn. He stood there like he owned this pack, like he was in charge. All confident and shit.

Chris- LISTEN HERE AND LISTEN CAREFUL! I DONT WANT A FUCKEN PARTY!

elder- Alpha the invitation are already out.

Chris- DID YOU SEE MY SIGNATURE IN THOSE RELEASE FORMS?

elder- no but former Alpha-

Chris- HE IS NOT THE FUCK ALPHA AND IT WILL DO YOU WELL TO REMEMBER THAT. THE NEXT TIME I WILL LEAVE A PERMANENT MARK AS A REMAINDER AS TO WHO IS THE FUCKEN ALPHA.

james- show your elders respect boy!

That was it, I grabbed him by the neck and slammed him on the walls. Shock was written all over his face, he did not expect me to do anything simply because his my father. But he forgets I am stronger than him, I am the alpha not him. I growled in his face and squeezed his neck a bit, the more I looked at him the more I saw the pain in Ronny's eyes when he come back from the cells.

The pain in his eyes, the conversation we just hard and I wanted to kill my father. He did this! He is the one who is hurting my mate. I got so angry I extended my teeth, I wanted to leave him with a scare he will never forget. I went in but instead of taking a bite out of my father, Ronny placed his hand and i bite him. I did not notice till I pulled back, blood on the floor and father was not hurt. He too was confused till we both looked at where the blood on the comes from.

Chris- RONNY! FUCK FUCK FUCK.

My father growled at him and said something under his breath. I pushed my father so hard into the wall, it made a hole. I wanted to hit him but Ronny pulled me back.

Ronny- Stop it!

I immediately stopped, I dont know why. Most mates don't have this much power over each other. But Ronny has me under his thumb, he says stop and I will not hesitate. I stepped back and he turned around and walked about two steps. He looked at me and I followed him, but I stopped in the middle to address my father.

Chris- you wanted a party? You have a party, but dont think for one second I will do as you wish. I will not take any one but my mate! And oh father..... It goes without saying STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM ME AND PACK BUSINESS!

I walked out with Ronny out back and we went into the woods. He walked us to the other side of the mountains where it is hidden. He then found a spot and took a seat, he did not say anything and so did I. I just stayed next to him. He was the first to break the silence.

Roman- you need to learn to control yourself!

Chris- I am trying.

Roman- then stop coming to my aid each time your father does something. You won't acknowledge me, but you won't reject me either. You have your reason for hiding this,-

Chris- is not that I don't want you... I do, I just don't know how to.. it's difficult for me to-

Roman- right, because it's Soo easy for me. To be questioned Evey step of the way, to have your father call me a witch and a half man is Soo easy.

Chris- that is not what I meant.

Roman- you want to hide this? Then stop being possessive over me. I can take care of myself just fine!

He got up and left, I watched as he walked away. Looking at his ass, my goodness what I would do to it if I had a chance. I got hard fast, I had to wait it out before I could go. I hate blue balls! After I had cooled down I went back, took a shower and went to breakfast. Mother was there, she tired to make me apologize but I was not sorry.

After breakfast my day started and I had a lot of work, new mates meaning new houses and a log of initiations. Ronny was quite most of the day, chase was restless. Making me snap out without any warning. He kept looking at me for the corner of his eyes. While sorting out the housing thing, my receptionist called and said the elders want to see me.

I exhaled deeply, this is just want I need. More old people to annoy me even more. I allowed then in because they will stay out there till I see them. They walked in and submitted, Ronny give them chairs. He stood by the door, away from me.

Elder- Alpha Chris, we are here to apologize. We agreed to send the invention because of what the doctor said.

Chris- so now we make decisions based on what the doctor says?

Elder- he said you had a heart attack and it will get worse if you don't find your mate. Alpha we are believes of fated mates but we have to put the pack first. If you died we because open for attack and when former Alpha James said we should host a party.

Roman- a heart attack is solved by getting a mate?

Elder- former Alpha.....

I stopped hearing anything after the mention of my father, chase wanted out. Everything seem to revolve around him, I was shaking, I tried to hide it but Ronny noticed. I wanted nothing than to bath in their blood, they seem to think my father is still in charge.

Chris- alpha James this, alpha James that!.. his not the fucken Alpha! I swear if you made one more decision based on what my father said I will boil you alive.

Elder- but you do need a mate!

I growled and I was a second away from getting up and killing the old guy, he saw it in my eyes. But out of nowhere, my mates scent hit me. I quickly looked at the door and he was not there, I was confused till I heary his voice in my head " calm down! I am behind you" I couldn't help but smile. But I had to hide it quickly.

Ronny spoke up from behind me, the elders never had a problem with him. It's my father who seem to be gunning for him.

Roman- how about this, he will attend the party but will not be forced into anything?

Chris- no!

Roman- do you know who you're mate is?

I couldn't answer and he knew, he was just playing me.

Roman- then it won't hurt to attend.

Chris- fine!

The elders went on talking and I was struggling to calm down, his scent and voice was not enough. But lucky they did not stay too long. Ronny said he had something to do too and he took off. After a while of being alone in my office I went out for a walk, at the corner of my eye I saw him. Ronny laughing with this other guy, the guy kept playing with his hair.

They were near the woods, could barely see them. I was about to walk away but the guy grabbed Ronny by the neck as if pulling him in for a kiss. I don't know how but in a split second i was next to Ronny, pushing the guy. He fell and hit his head, blood coming out and he looked like he passed out.

Roman- WHAT THE FUCK Teey!

Teey that's what he calls me, I love it. Even when his angry I always smile when he calls me that. He went to check on the guy but chase and I stopped him.

Chris- dont you fucken touch him!

Roman- I want to see if his dead! What's your problem.

Chris- don't touch him! Why are you out here in the woods with him anyway?

Roman- why do you care? Ain't you supposed to be getting ready for your party?

Chris- I DON'T WANT YOU NEAR HIM EVER!

Roman- that will be hard since I am the beta!

He went to pick the guy up, I involuntary slapped his hand away from the guy. He looked at me in the eyes, then pulled me by the hand deep into the woods.

Roman- you don't want to acknowledge this .. between us. You don't want to reject me, you don't want me to be around anyone. What do you want ?

Chris- I DON'T WANT YOU NEAR HIM!

Roman- Teey I stay close, I calm chase down. Even though you pretend not to know that we are mates, I still come through for you in all ways. As a mate, beta and best friend. But you have to decide, I cant live like this!

He took off, chase was hurt and so was I but he was telling the truth. I don't want him to be with anyone but me, yet I can't face my fears and come clean about my mate. Over the next few days he was distance and quiet. On the last day he was not present for breakfast and I was pissed, I did not eat breakfast that day. After breakfast Jackson asked me to train his daughter, I asked him to join and he did show up.

It was fun and I enjoyed having him around, he was talking and smiling. We spent the day in my office, mostly working out on who we need and who is not a necessity as a friend to Blue lake. Everything was going well till an omega come to remind me I had to get ready for the party. Soon after she left so did Ronny, he said he was going out of town for a few days.

I had no choice but to attend the party alone, it was annoying. I had a few glasses of wine then took the bottle that the parkers insisted i drink alone. I took the bottle straight to my room, I drink a lot with Ronny but I have never felt like this. I passed out with my royal cloths on and I woke up naked next to the annoying parker girl! What the fuck happened?
