Chapter 6 You need help!

Hunter's Pov.

"Will just anybody know you have a tiny pink mark just below your left breast? Or that you have a little cute birthmark on your lower back very close to your..." Her hands cupped my mouth just before I could finish my sentence.

The shy and surprised look on her face left me smirking satisfactorily. Now, I wouldn't have to worry so much about convincing her to come home with me. But I was still very mad at her though. How dare she refer to me as "just anybody?!

Even though I understand her confusion as I am also as confused as she is about what is going on, but still, she had no right to refer to me as such! Not when we had such a mind-blowing connection, not when the sparks were flying all around! It was practically almost impossible for me to keep my hands away from her because it felt like I was losing my Anna all over again.

I still can't wrap my head around how she looks and talks like my Anna, I never thought such would be possible, although I once heard a story of something similar that happened to a werewolf that lost his mate but I never thought it was real or that it would ever happen to me!

Staring at the embarrassed blush on her rosy cheeks brought back so many locked-up memories, so many painfully sweet memories, memories I never thought I would ever get to relive again.

It's a bittersweet feeling because I don't know if she's truly my reincarnated Anna if at all that bullshit is real.

I don't want to hurt her and hurt myself with such hopes but I also can't see myself calling everything bluff and never seeing her again. And I also do not want everything I have worked so hard for to be ruined by something that might be false, that would break me more than Anna's death did.

I don't know what sick joke the Moon Goddess is playing at but it is not funny in any way. Just when my life was finally going as planned and I was finally close to forgetting everything about my Anna and that dreadful day she died.

Just when my Pack was finally beginning to rub shoulders with the Werewolf King's Pack I was finally attaining the status I deserved. Other Packs were finally crawling before me, scared of provoking me or any of the members of my Pack.

Everything now feels like it's turned around and I don't feel like myself again. I honestly don't know what to do and I am barely even holding on. I look composed outwardly but inwardly I am such a mess, my head feels like it's pounding and my knees want to buckle from the tiredness my mind is feeling.

Is this my Anna or is she just another mate the Moon Goddess is cruelly forcing me to bond with?

Even though I do not want to admit it, she kinda looks exactly like my Anna, although she is quite smaller and she has a shit load of marks on her body that I definitely will make the stupid family she stayed with pay for. She also talks like her and has her mannerisms.

But my Anna was no simple Luna, she was humble and kind of course, and loved helping out whenever and wherever she was needed but she was no simple or your everyday ordinary Luna who loved planning events, crocheting, or taking care of the Packs pups, naah...

My Anna was fierce and business-oriented, she loved training as her dad was a Gamma before retiring so she was made to join in the training of other werewolves in competition for the position he held, and she was passionate about getting that position until we met that faithful day I came to her Pack with my Dad and I saw the gorgeous, sharp-tongued girl. It was Instant hate that took a few hours to metaphors into unquenchable love.

She was intriguing, exciting, and always assisted me before and after we got mated. After we became a couple, she became everything to me, from my sparring partner to my business adviser, she was also my best friend and the only woman capable of bringing me to my knees without stress.

She brought progress to my Pack and made us attain a status I never thought was possible. I blame myself for her death, I should've known that our newly found progress was going to bring us a whole lot of enemies... I should've done everything possible to make sure she did not come to that battle arena that dreadful day she died even if it meant locking her up against her wish.

But I was stupid and weak against the authority I allowed her to have over me and the authority I allowed other Packs to have in entering my Pack without any atom of fear and declaring war on us out of the blue.

She slowly removed her hand that were covering my mouth when she was sure that I wouldn't say anything else. "I don't know who you are but you need help! I am going back to class, hopefully, I don't encounter any more crazy people on my way there."

"Agreed, one is enough for one day so stay away from every other guy who is not me. And I'll meet you after class." I said smoothing the collar of her uniform.

Her brown eyes danced happily at my words while she just shook her head like I had gone crazy but I knew deep down she liked what I said even though she did not want to admit it. My Anna was exactly like that.

"Bye, or whatever!"

I chucked at her words, she was cute. "Yes cupcake, see you after class," I said with a smile. But she scoffed and turned around to leave.

My provoking smile dropped and my heart became heavy again immediately after I saw the door close after her. I have to get to the bottom of whatever is going on as soon as possible so nobody gets hurt again.
