Her lips were soft, making him very excited to continue. Lorena hadn't felt anything like this for many years and perhaps it was neediness that made her let herself be taken away like this, but there was no going back - not least because she didn't want to pretend that nothing had happened - because she felt a chemistry between them.
Victor: Lorena - the husky way he spoke her name sent shivers down her body - I don't know what to say or do.
Lorena: You don't have to be nervous, but we could go to a less busy street, I don't know.
Victor wanted to do something more, but he was afraid of seeming like a cheeky man. So he just looked at her in a way that she could understand what he wanted.
Lorena understood Victor's gaze and said:
Lorena: Unfortunately there's a visitor at my house today, but we can look elsewhere.
Victor: but don't you have to be at home to receive a visitor?
Lorena: not when it's someone you can't stand, like my daughter's parent.
Victor: Oh, I didn't know Aurora's father was in town.
Lorena: Yes, he was passing by her school when I picked her up and offered to look after Aurora until 7pm.
Victor: Well, it's 6:20. What do you say we save that for another day?
Lorena: Of course, but can we have a snack first?
Victor: yes, but first, if I may, of course - he strokes her hair - have I told you how beautiful you look today?
Lorena: she doesn't smile and her cheeks turn pink again - you look very nice too - she whispers in his ear - or we could stay here in the car until it's time for me to go home.
Victor: that's a good idea.
They move to the back seat and start kissing, but they don't go any further because they want more privacy and space.
Lorena: 6:35 p.m. - she looks at the time on her watch.
She climbs into his lap and kisses him, feeling every part of herself heat up in a different way.
Victor: That way I'll want to try something right here. Although I'd like it to be more intimate and we don't have much space here.
Lorena: No problem, we can wait.
They kissed again, feeling their bodies connect - even if they hadn't gone too far.
Victor finally drove Lorena home and dropped her off at the corner of her house and before she got out of the vehicle, he said:
Victor: do you want me to pretend this didn't happen tomorrow?
Lorena: no! - she exclaims a little upset - why? Do you want to pretend that nothing happened?
Then he kisses her in response, but says:
Victor: no, but it's better that no one in the office suspects because they might think I'm evaluating you with ulterior motives and not for your excellent performance.
Lorena: OK, so at work we'll just be coworkers - she gets pensive - and outside of work, what are we?
Victor: just you and me - he strokes her hair - I want you to get to know me better first and if everything works out, we can try something.
Lorena: OK, no pressure is good. See you tomorrow - she kisses him, not wanting to let go - sweet dreams.
Victor: to you too Lorena.
Lorena opens the door and finds Dimitri watching a cartoon with Aurora. When she sees her, her daughter runs towards her and says:
Aurora: Hi Mom, Dad's been playing with me all day! - she exclaims excitedly - you're sweaty.
Lorena: I've worked a lot today - then Victor's hot kiss comes to mind - I need a shower, I'll be right back.
Dimitri: Don't worry, I'll order a pizza for dinner and I'll leave as soon as we've finished eating.
Lorena: OK.
Lorena takes a warm shower and puts on some warm clothes - a gray jacket and sweatpants in the same color. She lets her hair down and returns to the living room, where they wait for the pizza to arrive.
After forty minutes, the order arrives and, as promised, Dimitri grabs a couple of slices of pepperoni and bacon pizza and says goodbye to his daughter.
Dimitri: It was very nice to spend this day with you, my daughter.
Aurora: I really enjoyed it too, Dad - she hugs him excitedly, but her countenance soon changes - will I not see you for much longer?
Dimitri: No, daughter, I'll visit you next week, if your mother allows.
Lorena: Yes, you can pick her up on Friday.
Dimitri: Actually, I wanted to ask if she could spend the weekend with me, the following week, of course.
Lorena: Your wife wouldn't mind?
Dimitri: I'll talk to her, but I'm sure there won't be any problems. Anyway, I'll let you know during the week - he turns to Aurora - bye my little one.
Aurora: Bye, Dad - she hugs him again.
Dimitri: bye Lorena- He opens the door and leaves, leaving the two of them alone.

The rest of the evening was pretty quiet, until Lorena received a mysterious message on her cell phone:
Unknown: I know what you and Victor did today and if you don't give him up, I'll tell your boss everything.
At first she thought it was a bad joke, but then she received a photo on her cell phone.
And another message:
Unknown: you don't know who I am, but I know who you are and don't you dare challenge me because I can make your life a living hell, get ready Lorena.
