He went silent as he stared at me. After a few seconds passed, he said, "Curiosity killed the cat, love. You should stop poking into people's lives."

"Don't blame me, any other person would ask," I added

"Well, you're not going to get an answer, so it's best you just stay quiet and mind your business like you told the fellow over there," he said as he moved his gaze to the dummy.

"You're being kind of rude," I said as I glared at him, I wasn't being nosy, or was I? Nah, I wasn't. Being curious isn't a bad thing.

"If being rude is the only way to get you to stop bothering me, then you haven't seen anything yet," he said as he continued hitting the dummy.

"You're not all that, you know that right," I said, but he went back to ignoring me like before, I guess the conversation was over then.

So I went back to my own training, but my thoughts still consumed him. Why was I so obsessed with knowing why he was here at Sensei Tanaka's place, considering what the latter had said?

Anyway, we can leave it for now. Let's just train, I thought to myself as I started doing my warm-up exercises.

As I was doing some push-ups, a few men came into the center, and they looked like trouble, so I tried to go get Sensei Tanaka when one of them made a nasty comment.

"Now that's a fine ass," he said, causing everyone in the room to turn and face us. The guy approached me with a huge grin on his face.

"What's a pretty girl like you doing in a place like this?" The man asked

"None of your business, so please leave. You're causing a nuisance," I said as I glared at him, but he was obviously too stupid to see that I wasn't the usual naive girl he goes after.

"Look, guys, the little kitten has claws," the leader said, causing his buddies to laugh at my expense as he stretched out his hands to take a strand of my hair in his hands

"Don't touch me, you stupid cunt or I will smash your face against that wall" I said as I smacked his hands away from my face, causing a frown to form on his face.

"Watch your mouth, just because you're pretty doesn't mean you can talk to us anyhow," the leader said, and the next thing I knew he slapped me across the face causing me to stumble backwards as I stared at him in shock.

"How dare you?" I yelled as I moved to attack him but a very familiar voice called out to me stopping me in my tracks.

"Bea, stand down. They're not worth your anger," Sensei Tanaka said as he walked towards us

"But Sensei, he hit me," I added, angry and slightly hurt that he wouldn't let me get revenge on that bastard for hitting me

"I will handle it, now go back to your spot while I handle this nice gentleman," he simply said as he reached where we were standing

"Okay," I muttered under my breath as I turned to leave, but before I could even take a step, their leader grabbed me by the arm, stopping me.

"Do you need anything from her?" Sensei Tanaka asked as he stared at his hand holding me in place before moving back to its owner

"She needs to apologize for her rude behavior," the leader said as he held my hand tightened by the minute

"You want her to apologize?" Sensei Tanaka asked, his face devoid of emotions.

"Yes, we do. Are you deaf or an old man? That's what I said, " the leader said as he stared at Sensei Tanaka with disdain.

"Why does she have to apologize to you when she did nothing wrong?" Sensei Tanaka asked.

"It was rude of her not to respond to my compliment, so she needs to apologize," the leader said, causing his group to snicker behind him.

"Did she ask you to give her a compliment?" Sensei Tanaka asked as the leader turned to glare at him

"Stop doing that," the leader said, his anger evident in his tone.

"Doing what?" Sensei Tanaka asked, and the leader's face flushed with anger as he let go of my hand and focused on Sensei Tanaka.

"Stop answering everything I say with questions. It's getting annoying." The leader said.

"I'm not doing anything," Sensei Tanaka said, causing the leader's frown to deepen.

"If you don't cut it out, I'm going to take out the punishment she was meant to receive on you," their leader said and my blood began to boil, how dare he insult Sensei Tanaka.

"Ah, you should've kept quiet while you still had the chance," Sensei Tanaka said as he turned to face me, "You can do as you please."

"Seriously?" I asked, "And you won't do anything to me later, "

"Pinky swear," Sensei Tanaka said, causing me to roll my eyes at him.

"You're not a child, so please stop doing that," I said to Sensei Tanaka who was staring at me with an amused expression.

"You're the one that told me to go ahead so don't you dare punish me later for doing what you told me to do," I said.

"Seriously Bea, I will not punish you if you attack this nice man," Sensei Tanaka said and a huge smile made its way to my face, I was going to fucking enjoy this, I thought to myself as I faced their leader who still had that smug grin on his face

"You really think this little thing can hurt me, you've got to be fucking kidding me," their leader said as he and his buddies started to laugh at me which further fuelled my anger

"Ricardo you might want to move back a little, she is about to blow," Sensei Tanaka said as he and Ricardo took a step back, and with the biggest grin on my face I punched their leader in the face as hard as I could.
