Chapter 8 Abandoned Woman

At the other end of the phone, Anna's eyes instantly became as big as brass bells. "Divorce! But a divorce doesn't mean that you have to be naked. You married the young president of the Lance's Group. Even if you get nothing else after divorce, at least you can have a house worth around ten million dollars. But now you actually asked me to borrow clothes to wear. You are too ridiculous, aren't you?"

"I'll wave my sleeves and do not take away anything of the Lance family, including my underwear!"

Anna was Eleonora's best friend. She had long noticed the unhappiness of Eleonora's marriage, including Quentin's extramarital affair outside.
