Chapter 4 Enemy's daughter

Ehab, With the swift response, he parked his car in the porch, grabbing his keys and cell. He hopped down from his Mercedes, straightening his coat, while the bodyguards around him bowed their heads in due respect to the only heir of Duranis. Yes, Ehab was the only child of Duranis. They had worshipped each and every doctor. He was their heartbeat, a ray of hope in their dark-filled life. He gave a curt nod to his thoughts and marched inside the huge villa, which was beautifully designed. Each wall screamed royalty and expensiveness.

Ehab felt so satisfied when he saw his father's manager bowing his head respectfully. This is what he liked - to be respected. He was the king, and this was his kingdom, where he ruled and loved to rule others' lives.

"Welcome back, Ehab," the old manager said, welcoming him royally. "Hmm, where is Dad?" he asked, a bit annoyed. He hated wasting his time with unimportant conversations.

"Master is in his study," the manager said, bowing his head down.

Marching to his father's study, he pushed the doors open, making his way to a two-seater leather couch. He sat with one leg crossed over the other, taking off his shades. He removed one cigar and placed it between his fine lips, lighting it up. His father, who was an old, bulky man just like him, with grey hair and those old-fashioned spectacles, had a wrinkled face that now lit up upon finding his son sitting in front of him. The old man smiled, stood up, and spread his arms, welcoming his son into his embrace.

"Oh, what a lovely surprise! Finally, you remembered that you have a father?" his father said mockingly. Ehab couldn't help but chuckle at his words. "Come on, Dad, I have work to do. You know how busy I am," he said in a duh tone.

"Of course. Now, what is the importance of a father in front of work?" his father said playfully. Ehab rolled his eyes. "Anyway, why did you call me here instead of the hotel? Is everything alright?" asked Ehab, puffing out the cigar. The old man stiffened and motioned his bodyguards to leave them alone and lock the door behind. Ehab knitted his eyebrows in confusion. His father turned to him, giving him complete attention. "Ehab, you have always been your own commander. You never listen to me," his father started, making him frown. He balled up his fists at his father's words and clenched his jaw. "What are you exactly trying to say? I don't need anyone's advice. This is my life!" he said, gritting his teeth. He hates to be advised, to be asked what to do.

Ehab's father knew all his bad habits. He was always worried about his life, as Ehab loves to play with dangers. The trap he planned for their enemies was not an easy task. His life depends on it. One wrong move and he would be killed. He knew it. But still, he is Ehab Durani. He loves to play with danger. He was addicted to all the wrong and dangerous things. And his father always tried his best to have a grip on all his black deeds.

"Ehab, my son, you are in great trouble," his father said, shaking his head. Ehab chuckled proudly. He loved to get tangled with everything bad, evil, and dangerous. "That's nothing new for me," he said, shrugging with a sly smirk. His father let out a dejected sigh. He ran his wrinkled hand on Ehab's cheek, patting it as he whispered, "Ehab, you are in deep mess. Do you know whose daughter you have just gotten involved with? The daughter of the Australian mafia!" His father said, making him nod curtly. Hearing this, he felt so prominent. His ultimate goal was to overcome the Australian mafia's power and win.

He wanted to rule the whole mafia world. Always being spoon-fed, he was addicted to being the ruler and ruling. Royalty, ruling, and playing with danger were the three things running through his veins. He jestingly said to his father, "That means I won, right?" he uttered with a sly smile.

"No, you don't!" hissed his father, gritting his teeth with pure anger. He held Ehab. Grabbing his neck made Ehab angry. He hated it when someone tried to trap him under their claws. Ehab respected his father a lot but hated that his father tried to control him. Ehab glared at his father and said with pure anger, "Dad, leave me alone. I am not a fucking kid!" He growled under his breath. His father gritted his teeth and smashed his face on the table. Ehab chuckled hoarsely, making his father grab his gun and point it at his own son. "Son, you are being a pain in my ass!"

His son chuckled. He knew his father would never harm him, even in his dreams. His father angrily left and walked restlessly. He was aware of how dangerous the Australian mafia was. Ehab shook his head, smiling. "You know what, Dad? No one dares to raise their voice at me. But it seems like you hate obeying the mafia. Don't you fear death?" Ehab asked, raising one eyebrow. His father gave him a glare. "I am your father!" he said with pure anger. "That's your mistake, not mine," Ehab said.

Clenching his jaw, Ehab moved out of his father's study. His father sighed and said, "You are my only son," he said helplessly. He can't see his son getting destroyed just because of a girl. Ehab stopped in his tracks. He was controlling his anger, just because the man who stopped him was his father. If it were someone else, Ehab would have made sure to bury him six feet under the ground.

"What do you want!? Can't I live my life my way!?" yelled Ehab, exasperated. "Calm your fucking voice down, boy, and leave Wafa Shirley. Make sure you don't lay a finger on her. She should be safe and sound," his father said, warning him.
