Chapter 9 Classy Performer

"You...what are you doing here?" Aline was quite surprised by the presence of Pram at her door, which meant that this man was the one who visited her house this afternoon.

"Um, I mean, why are you here suddenly?" Aline continued, correcting her words, feeling that the previous question made it sound like she didn't like being visited by this man.

Pram's face looked flat, with a look of disappointment in his eyes for Aline. "Why did you immediately turn off the phone? Are you angry?" Instead of answering Aline's question, the man asked the woman back, making Aline chuckle in annoyance.

'Looks like I really have to break up with him as soon as possible; I swear, I don't feel comfortable with his excessive attitude' thought Aline in silence, and of course Pram couldn't know what was in her heart.

"I'm sorry, I was already annoyed with you," replied Aline after a few seconds of silence with her brain thinking hard and looking for the right answer to Pram's question.

Pram nodded, then took a deep breath. "Guests aren't welcome in, are they?" His sarcasm made Aline stutter and spontaneously grimace.

"Oh yeah, I forgot. Come on, Pram, please come in." That's what Aline said, different from the worry in her heart. 'Don't let Salsa ask too many questions, and hopefully he won't say anything strange and reveal our relationship to Salsa,' the woman thought worriedly as she opened the main door wider for Pram to pass through.

Aline was forced to show a smile, as if she weren't worried about anything. "Please sit down first; what would you like to drink?" said the woman, inviting Pram to sit on a chair in the living room after they got there. Of course, Aline wouldn't let Pram sit in the living room, because Pram in her house was just a guest and nothing more.

"It's up to you; don't be too long; I want to talk to you," Pram replied in a serious tone at the end of his sentence.

Aline nodded hesitantly. He could already guess that later Pram would talk about the problem of him meeting Andra earlier at the mall. And Aline has to prepare an answer to Pram's question later. 'Even if he ends up provoking my emotions, I think it's better if I just decide now,' thought Aline with her intention; she was really reckless with her intention, even though she was currently in her own house with Salsa. It's possible that Pram will do something reckless if Aline immediately breaks off their relationship for the wrong reasons.

"Yes, Pram, I'll go to the back first," said Aline before she walked away, leaving Pram alone in the living room, who was starting to be busy with his own thoughts.

Meanwhile, Aline, who was now in the living room, saw her daughter, who was still focused on watching television, making Aline intend to give Salsa a little warning.

'Should I just tell Salsa to go to her room? That seems better than meeting Pram and asking questions,' thought Aline before she managed to sit next to Salsa with her eyes occasionally glancing towards the living room, afraid that Pram would suddenly follow her steps towards the living room.

As long as Aline was in relationships with rich men and successful businessmen whose money was extorted from her, she never once found Salsa with any of her ex-lovers, including Pram himself. The reason is that Aline doesn't want her daughter to get into a circle that she created herself. Basically, she doesn't want Salsa to get into her problems because she thinks that being in a relationship with several people is a problem, especially with someone who is married, but she is still determined to approach that person. just to extort his money.

So as much as possible now, Aline keeps Salsa away from Pram; she doesn't want Salsa to be affected by her behavior in changing partners after divorcing her ex-husband in order to extort their wealth.

Aline seemed to forget about the karma that could come to her or her family members at any time.

"Who's the guest, Mom?" Salsa asked this when she noticed her mother's presence beside her.

"Mommy's an important friend," replied Aline before continuing her words.

"Honey, you go to your room first, because there are a lot of Mommy's friends who want to discuss work, so it's better. Salsa Go to your room first. I'm afraid Salsa will divert our focus to discussing work. Would you like to go to your room first, darling?" Carefully, Aline said a sentence full of lies. The woman was forced to do that and just blurted out an excuse like that. Screw it if it doesn't make sense, he thought.

"Mommy's friends are in the living room, right? Mehere "It won't be a bother," replied Salsa, who didn't seem to want to get up from the sofa because she was comfortable in her current position.

Aline took a deep breath. "Later, Mommy's friends will be in the living room, dear, so for now it's better for Salsa to be in the room first, okay? Just for a moment; later, when Mommy is done, she'll go to the room. Salsa "And bring brownies that Mommy will make later," said the woman, trying to explain to Salsa so that her daughter would do what she said. Not at a loss, Aline included brownies in her sentence.

And yes, it looks like Aline's trick was successful, as evidenced by Salsa's eyes shining brightly again, showing interest when she heard what her mother said about the brownies.

"Really, come to my room later with brownies, okay, Mom?" Salsa asked to make sure that Aline immediately nodded her head without hesitation, even though Aline herself doubted she could make brownies when she had uninvited guests like Pram.

"Then I'm going to go to my room," shouted Salsa enthusiastically, and she immediately got up from the sofa.

"Thank you, darling, for understanding, Mommy," replied Aline with a relieved face after seeing her daughter leaving there.

"Yes, Mommy, I'll go to my room first. Bye-bye, don't forget the brownies," said Salsa cheerfully, walking away from Aline towards the stairs to go to her room. She was even so happy remembering the brownies that Aline had promised.

After seeing Salsa leave, who had arrived on the second floor, Aline got back up from the sofa while glancing towards the living room. "Did I just take too long, huh?" he muttered, very lazy about meeting Pram and talking about things he thought were very unimportant.

"So lazy," continued Aline, taking a deep breath before leaving the living room for the kitchen to make Pram a drink.

Really, it seems like Aline's decision has been made that after this, she will immediately break off her relationship with Pram after the man talked to her about the telephone earlier.

"He said it's up to you; just give me cold water," Aline muttered nonchalantly as she opened the refrigerator door after taking a glass.
