Chapter 4 Forced Dating

"Ehm...

is it just the two of us?" Louisa asked, sitting opposite the dashing man. The white shirt wrapped in a dark grey suit perfectly fits Dean's muscular body, highlighting the curves of his well-trained biceps. Moreover, the top button was left open, showing off a gold necklace with a single-wing pendant. Meanwhile, Dean's left ear has a silver piercing, which Louisa feels looks like a hooligan. Dean's short, copper-brown hair seemed to gleam in the dim light of the lights overhead, matching the ocean blue irises that were now watching Louisa so closely. It makes the atmosphere around her feel thicker.

Is the aura too strong? As if hypnotising the person he is talking to.

This is not the first time Louisa has met Dean. When she was first accepted at the agency, she met at a formal meeting, and it didn't last long because, at that time, Dean had to fly to New York. But now, Dean personally asks her to meet in a place far from the general public as if he understands Louisa's current wishes.

Isn't this an exaggeration? Or is there something?

Louisa's swollen irises, covered by sunglasses, looked around and wondered whether this restaurant was empty of visitors or if someone had specially ordered it. On the other hand, Louisa avoided what she thought in her head because she didn't want to act arrogant about Dean's treatment. After all, who would do it except for romantic purposes with their partner? After all, she was nothing to Dean except an actress under his company's name.

The man nodded firmly and couldn't relinquish his intimate gaze at the woman in every flower of his sleep for the past few days. "Yes. For you." He tilted the corners of his rosy lips, which made Louisa gape in disbelief. Then, I hugged the wine glass and took a small sip.

For me?

Louisa barely blinked after hearing Dean's story so casually. Is he crazy? Louisa's inner goddess laughed out loud when the girl knitted her eyebrows together in disbelief at the impossible thing that that rich bastard had done. Her brain immediately led to millions of speculations that Dean Cross would not directly provide preferential treatment to women for free. Moreover, Louisa gained fame after receiving praise for the film From the End. However, the image of the luxury limousine that picked her up from the chaos at SDCC made Louisa both doubtful and suspicious. Could Dean have known about it beforehand? Including when one of the fans leaked her sad relationship with Troy?

Who are you, Lou? Come to your senses!

Dean's words seemed arrogant, but it couldn't be denied that that was the reality now. Here, where they sit facing each other, the twinkling lights give a sweet impression, especially for people in love-accompanied by a bottle of expensive wine and mouth-watering seafood. All of this was just based on wanting to appreciate the talent of Louisa, an artist who has only received a leading role once. An illogical basis, right? So what? He was so curious that the sadness holding him back evaporated.

Louisa's imagination was drawn to various fictional characters in the novels she had read. If they could rent a hotel building to pamper their idol, something awaited them. She shuddered in horror. Could it be that soon she would be given a poisoned drink and then raped and then mutilated? In today's world, where would anyone in their right mind give away accessible facilities?

Apart from that... let's just say that Louisa was drunk because she couldn't stop observing Dean's tall, sturdy figure as the luck behind the bad luck. Louisa did not deny the fact that the human in front of her was charming, seductive, and incredibly sexy. It's a deadly combination for any man in the world. Louisa's eyes fell on Dean's reddish lips, who again drank the wine until it was finished without touching his food and then moved on to the movement of Adam's apple on the man's neck. How nice it would be if Louisa kissed him there. Wake up, Lou! Don't be lulled by the potential taker of your life! Remember, stay aware!

Unfortunately, Louisa's subconscious told her to stay sane and know what would happen next. Meanwhile, the other side was empty after Troy left. She was thirsty and wanted to enjoy a view like this for the next few moments. I'm not sure that there will be a chance to share a table with an agency official like Dean. Her mind whispered that Louisa's nightmare could end with a beautiful dream and enjoy the night with one of God's most perfect creations!

Louisa's inner goddess also said to let her die in peace as long as she was in Dean's arms, which were as warm as a kiss from the sun. A ridiculous dream in the middle of Despair is also a momentary pleasure that meets at one time. How could this happen? However, she remembered what Cory said was true: women who approach Dean must be careful not to be trapped by seduction that leads to ambition to win the CEO's heart.

"Can you take off your glasses, Ms. Bahr?" Dean asked in a low voice in her ear. Almost like a sensual whisper. "I feel like you don't appreciate this meeting."

"Don't tell me you're going to stab me in the eye with a fork so you can kill me easily," said Louisa quickly.

For a few moments, Dean gaped wide, then laughed out loud at Louisa's indecent thoughts. The neat rows of white teeth and rosy lips increased Dean's allure to infinity. Moreover, his ocean-blue eyes shine like the moon, illuminating the man's face. He licked his lips with his tongue, making Louisa imagine what if she were there-enjoying Dean's erotic caresses to forget her heartache.

"What do you think of me? Take off your glasses!" Dean ordered firmly, wiping away the big smile on his face.

What a shame! Louisa's brain seemed to have been injected with anaesthetic; it just melted when she heard the request that seemed commanding. Meanwhile, her inner goddess confirmed that no one was there, so Louisa did not need to be embarrassed about acting as she was before Dean, including his swollen and pathetic eyes.

The girl shrugged as she folded her glasses and put them in a black clutch. "See? I'm bad, Mr. Cross, but Cory insisted on meeting you. Besides... strangely, you asked to meet in person in a big place."

"Why indeed, Ms Bahr?" Dean asked, pouring wine into his glass. "I'm here to entertain you. Drink! You've been ignoring that dish."

Did I hear correctly?

One of Louisa's eyebrows raised one side, searching for the hidden meaning behind Dean's ocean-blue eyes. She exhaled as if waving a white flag, unable to reveal the contents of the man's head in front of her layer by layer. It was too complicated, like a maze with hundreds of doors she couldn't choose at once. Louisa's speculation grew more assertive about the plan to kill Dean even though the man denied it. Her fingers squeezed the clutch, slowly opening it to take out the chilli spray, just in case something terrible happened.

However, Dean still looks so calm, like water that can't be dived no matter how fast the current is. Dean's aura and the way he looked at Louisa made her sedated by hundreds of bottles of chloroform. Dean is too good at manipulating situations, or he is the one who is starting to get carried away and fall into this beautiful trap.

"Drink!" Dean ordered once again, pointing at the wine glass with his chin.

"I don't know what you mean, Mr. Cross. You aren't planning anything bad, are you?" Louisa asked, trying to find a way to avoid falling for Dean's tricks. However, her fingers obeyed Dean's orders. Again. Hug the leg of the glass and inhale the aroma of the wine for a moment before taking a slow sip. Unfortunately, despite drinking the delicious drink, Louisa's eyes seemed reluctant to look away from Dean's dominating gaze. Has she started to forget how to blink?

Louisa tried to grasp for anything to hold on to avoid falling further into the hole Dean had dug and was brokenhearted. If he wanted to kill her, why didn't the wine she drank immediately make her heart weak? Why was she still fully conscious and focused on how Dean looked? Louisa turned away and swallowed hard while cursing in her heart.

The blue of the ocean is very charming.

"I'm glad you got lots of people's praise. That's a first," said Dean, sniffing his wine glass before taking a sip. The movement of his hand holding the mirror looked so elegant and classy to Louisa. She observed Dean's visible veins, imagining again that Dean's fingers would trace every curve of her body and leave faint traces with those lips. When she sipped the drink, Louisa's eyes immediately focused on Dean's Adam's apple rising and falling. "Second. I heard that your boyfriend dumped you." Place the glass on the table and slowly stroke the rim with your index finger.

"I don't think that needs to be discussed," replied Louisa. "I thought this meeting would be more about my achievements, Mr. Cross."

"Oh... how naive, Ms. Bahr. You don't need to glorify your achievements," chuckled Dean. "Everyone has a timing for their popularity, and don't be too proud of yourself. There are still many things you need to achieve."

In her heart, Louisa wanted to curse harshly. If their private meeting wasn't to discuss his accomplishments in the film, then what was? Discussing and laughing about how hurt and sad it was that Troy left him? Or do you gossip that Troy is too slutty for a woman like Louisa?

"So? If you don't talk about what I've reached, wouldn't it be better for me to go, Mr. Cross? You're wasting too much time and-"

"Go on a date with me, Ms. Bahr!" Dean interrupted before Louisa finished her sentence, making the girl's jaw almost touch the surface of the restaurant floor.

God, what another nightmare is this?
