Chapter 3 Back to the shrine

Kevin and Elvin made it to their spiritual mother , as they got to the shrine , they saw her preparing food , they huged her from behind which scared her tho, but she turned surprised , she was very suprise these boys , she tried to ask many questions but Kevin and Alvin would not answer her . She wanted to know why the boys didn't re-unite with their parent or even stay in the village instead , they came back to the forest.

They did not answer neither question , but kept on complaining that they were hungry . The old lady left the boys and went ahead with her cooking.

Food was ready , but the boys were no where to be found . She called out their names but none of them replied , so she decided to go and check in their rooms , only to find out they were far asleep , because of the journey they embarked on . They were very tired too, but the old lady had no choice but to wake them up , so that they can fill their belly and go back to sleep.They all sat under the moon light and ate , they also sung and narrated about things they came across while they were on their way going and even when they were returning , but all that while , Alvin was unhappy and feeled bothered .The old lady noticed it and asked him if anything was bothering him , he sighed and said ," why did you choose to leave all alone in this forest or even set up ur shrine in any of the villages?? "he asked.

The old lady suddenly seemed to be worried , and told them she would tell them everything when its dawn .Many days came to pass but she was still refusing to tell the boy the truth.

Kevin and Alvin did not mention that to her again , cuz they realised that she felt disturbed whenever they asked her that question . They knew the right time would come for them to know every truth.
