Peter's frown deepened, and he found it difficult to engage in conversation with Ella. His mind was consumed by thoughts of Mabel, making it challenging for him to focus on their discussion. Ella could sense Peter's lack of interest, and she proposed leaving the current location to go somewhere more enjoyable. However, Peter declined, using Mabel as an excuse.
He mentioned, "What about your friend? She's waiting for you... maybe we can hang out another time."
Ella's heart sank, realizing that she had missed a golden opportunity to connect with the captivating man before her. In that moment, all she desired was to be in his embrace, feeling the warmth of his arms around her. With a heavy heart, Ella uttered,
"Next time then... I'll be leaving."
Every step she took, her mind raced with thoughts of turning back, of persuading the man to change his mind. Yet, deep down, she knew he had a point. She had brought Mabel along, and it seemed only right to honor that commitment.
As Ella settled into the car, Mabel couldn't help but notice the sadness etched on her friend's face. Concerned and curious, Mabel mustered the courage to break the silence.
"Hey, how was it? Do you like him?" she asked, her voice filled with genuine concern.
Ella's voice filled with a mix of excitement and admiration as she exclaimed, "I like him, he's so handsome!"
Her thoughts lingered on his striking features, but then a wave of relief washed over her. She remembered that she was actually getting married to him, and all her worries seemed to fade away. Determined, she made up her mind to persuade her father to meet with him for the final agreement of their wedding, eager to tie the knot as soon as possible. In that moment, thoughts of Henry, her current lover, were nowhere to be found.

Peter's face reflected a mix of disappointment and relief as Ella walked out. Deep down, he knew that their date lacked the spark he had hoped for.
He turned to his trusted bodyguard, William, and uttered, "William, get me the other girl's info." Determined to explore the potential connection he felt, Peter wanted to reach out to Mabel once again.
William's face displayed a mix of confusion and concern as he questioned his boss's intentions. "What about Miss Ella? Won't you wed her?" he asked, seeking clarification. Peter smiled, his mind filled with thoughts of the other girl. "Let's see how it goes," he replied, his voice tinged with intrigue. Memories of their recent encounter flooded his mind-the way she looked so stunning in her makeup and attire.
William returned to Peter, holding a card in his hand. With a smile on his face, he handed it to Peter
"Here's Mabel's ID card. She dropped it while waiting for Ella."
Peter's eyes lit up with excitement as he took the card.
"So her name is Mabel," he exclaimed, gazing at the picture on the ID card. In his mind, he couldn't help but acknowledge that even in an ID card photo, Mabel still exuded a remarkable beauty.
Peter handed the ID card back to William and instructed him to call Mabel and provide her with the house address.
"Give her the house address, I'm leaving here now," Peter said.
William accompanied Peter out of the restaurant and drove him home.
Ringgg!
"Hello"
"Miss Mabel ,you left your ID at the restaurant "
"Ooh,thank you for calling !" Mabel was relieved, she looked for it throughout her journey back home with Ella.
"Where are you ..I'll come get it now" Mabel said and prepared to rush off but was stopped by Ella.
"Why can't he bring it here, must you go over?" Ella asked.
"Don't worry babes, he sounded like he was busy ,it won't take long anyway,I'll just go over"
As Mabel entered the cab and arrived at the address provided by William, she found herself standing in front of a grand mansion. The mansion exuded an air of elegance and sophistication, with its towering ceilings, intricate chandeliers, and luxurious furnishings. Each room she explored seemed to tell a story of wealth and prestige, leaving Mabel feeling both amazed and slightly overwhelmed.
As Mabel stood in the living room,William emerged from an inner room and informed her, "He'll be with you shortly, my boss is with the ID."
Mabel's face contorted into a frown, a mix of emotions swirling within her. Meeting Peter again brought a sense of guilt, knowing that he was betrothed to her friend Ella. She couldn't help but wish she had made Ella aware of her visit to the house.
"Ah! You're here...welcome..."
Mabel suddenly heard a voice calling out to her. She turned her gaze and was met with the sight of Peter standing before her. He was wearing a robe, his hair still slightly damp from bathing. His features were strikingly handsome, with chiseled jawline, deep, thoughtful eyes, and a smile that could light up a room. Mabel couldn't help but feel a flutter in her heart as she admired his charm and undeniable attractiveness. She snapped back to reality, realizing the complexity of the situation. The person standing before her was meant for her friend, and she needed to retrieve her ID and leave.
"I came for my card," she stated firmly, trying to maintain her composure.
Peter, however, approached her slowly, a smile playing on his lips as he locked eyes with her. In a bold move, he pulled her close, his hand resting on her waist. Mabel's internal struggle intensified as she fought against her own emotions, pushing him away.
" What are you doing" she asked.
