Chapter 2 Darcy Snow

"You want to pull the trigger?? Huh??" Allison scoffed as he looked at me. His smile right there showed how much he despised me.

It has been three years since I fled away from my pack to the bustling city and every day, I find the courage to keep my existence a secret. Exactly two years from today, Allison had asked her out to be his mate and ever since then, we have been living as a couple in my little apartment and spending my monthly income which i got from the hotel I worked in, Swiss Hotel.

"What makes you think that even having pulled that trigger at me, that your f*cking and miserable life would come to an end, huh??" He rashly said as he grabbed Rosario's waist tighter.

Rosario and Darcy has been best friends since she relocated into the city and tonight, i felt betrayed by the two persons i had come to love so very much since my entire family and pack got murdered in cold blood by other alphas led by influence of dubious scientist, who also happens to be a werewolf.

"How could you do this to me, Rosario??" I cursed as my hands shook terribly as i held the gun with my index finger on the trigger.

"I did absolutely nothing to you, Darcy. All I did was show some kindness to him." She turned as she looked at Allison and she lifted her foot up as she kissed him deeply. "All you did was starve him, no good s*x, you only made his life boring and at least, finally I stole something from you, Darcy!!" She scoffed as she rubbed his chest.

I stood still as she got soaked with the drizzling rain. Passers-by stood glued to the scene as some of them had their phones high, videoing the moment, some felt pity while some giggled at everything that unfolded in front of the Casablanca.

"Is she going nuts??" A girl in her early twenties muffled.

I heard all the giggling and sympathetic talks and i couldn't help it but cry. "I promise you, you both will regret everything. Guess you are right, I have always been the fool, always loving and being loyal to d*ckheads, to men who thinks through their d*ck!!" I cursed as she returned the gun back to my purse.

"I, Darcy Snow, even after my death, shall haunt you both for the rest of your lives!!" I cursed as i glared at them. All that ran through my head right now was to end my pathetic life. For me, that was the greatest kindness ever to be made.

"You are just too pathetic, you can keep your sermon to yourself." Rosario scowled as she held Allison's right hand tight. "Let's leave here, baby. I promise to give you a good s*x tonight." She used her right index finger to rub his lips as she smiled blushingly.

I turned around, giving a deadly glare to everyone who had gathered to see what was happening. "What are you all looking at, huh??" I snarled as i walked away angrily and embarrassed.

I boarded a taxi back to Swiss Hotel as i couldn't take the pain any longer. I felt her heart ache so badly like they were about to fall into pieces. All i ever wanted was a peaceful life as I healed from everything life had thrown at me and today, i stood in front of the two very persons that swore to always stand by me through thick and thin.

I hopped down from the taxi as i ran hastily to go meet Naomi, the only friend i had left and i ran into Naomi's embrace, crying heavily not minding that other staffs were present there, staring at me.

"Come on, Darcy?? Can you not do this here??" Naomi snapped as she tried to comfort me. "Come here." She said as she carried me to the balcony.

"What happened again?? Is it about Allison again?? What did he do this time around, huh?? And I thought you said you were both going on a date tonight??"

Naomi kept on asking different questions and I had to cut her halfway, "It's over between me and Allison and I don't care if he has been cheating on me with my friend but how could he remind me of my miserable life?? How could he??" I cursed as I wiped away her tears.

"What?? He has been cheating on you with Rosario?? That arrogant sl*t??" She cursed angrily as she stood up from where she was seated. "Did you give her a dirty punch on her nose??" She snarled angrily.

"They can go and I am throwing him out of my house before noon tomorrow. He can pack in with his new love." I cursed as she stood up.

"I always knew he couldn't be trusted. At least you know his true nature. Such a shameless man." She spat on the floor as she pat my back, consoling me.

"You know what, why don't you wait a bit so that I can pack up all my things so that I can drive you home and probably spend the week with you, babes!!" Naomi muttered as she wore a cheering smile on her face.

I had forced a smile as i hugged Naomi warmly, sneezing from the cold i had caught.

{Bang}

We trembled as we heard a rushing sound which was accompanied with a gunshot and a man fell down from the top as he crashed on a glass table, shattering it into pieces.

We turned to see the man whose face was covered with blood and his white shirt soaked with blood.

"We have to run away before we get into trouble, Darcy. Let him be, we don't even know him for crying out loud." Naomi pleaded as her heart raced really fast.

"He.... Help me...." The man gasped out as his vision failed.
