Chapter 8 ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED

Hannah was incredibly proud of herself when she finally succeeded in her new business venture after five years. Her product was now trending on social media and was being used in business commercials. It was even being imported and exported internationally. She also made online shopping available for her customers' satisfaction. With the support of her investors and producers, all of her hard work, trust, and dedication had paid off. She even bought a house for herself and her baby. Hannah had become a CEO.

However, both of her parents were planning to go back to Sydney for their own business. Baby Ikini, Hannah's child, asked his grandparents, "Can I go with you to Sydney?"

"Oh, we're so sorry, but we can't bring you without your mom's permission. However, you can talk to her," replied Hannah's mom.

"I don't think she'll let me," said Baby Ikini.

"We can try to convince her, okay?" said his grandma, patting his head.

"Malatang soup is now served," called Hannah from the kitchen. She also noticed that her son seemed unhappy.

"What's wrong? Don't you like malatang soup?" asked Hannah, noticing her son pouting his lips in sadness.

"Can I go with them tomorrow to go to Sydney? I want to see that place," he replied. Hannah smiled widely and started patting her son's head.

"Your grandma and grandpa have their business to manage there, and they can't take care of you. However, Mom is planning to go there next for a five-month vacation. We'll buy a new house there," explained Hannah.

"That's cool! Yes!" said Baby Ikini. "But what about Andrew Yang? Is he going to be with us too?" Hannah held her neck before she could reply.

"I'm going to talk to him. I wish he could

come with us," she said.

"I wish that too. He's such a kind and loving guy. I love him," said Baby Ikini, and Hannah smiled.

Secretly thrilled, Hannah never thought that her son would come to love Andrew Yang. Andrew visited Hannah's place as always, and he also introduced her to his parents, who warmly welcomed her. She thought they won't accept her, but she was wrong. They're treating her nicely. And as a CEO, she always walking around to ensure her business is smoothly working.

"We ensure that the products are properly displayed and marketed, Ma'am Hannah. The relationship between the clients and your brand is working well. Many of our customers are satisfied with the products you produce," said her sales representative during a visit to the department store. Hannah patted her shoulder and smiled widely before she could speak.

"Thanks. Have a good day at work. Good job," she said, and they even exchanged vows as their boss left.

She drove to Andrew's company and didn't see him inside his office when she entered. However, she patiently waited inside his office for almost an hour, knowing that Andrew was in a meeting. To pass the time, she entertained herself by looking at the beautiful paintings in the office.

Unbeknownst to her, Andrew had been watching her from the door, smiling. She still didn't realize that Andrew was right behind her. This scene made Andrew laugh secretly. He patted Hannah's shoulder, and as she turned around, he gently hold Hannah's jaw.

"Hey, you're already here? I thought you were in a meeting," asked Hannah.

"Almost done. You didn't realize that I had been watching you from behind," replied Andrew, laughing. Hannah was genuinely confused.

"Why are you laughing? Are you saying you were watching me?" Hannah pinched his waist when he nodded in affirmation.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to laugh at you," said Andrew.

"You silly," She never thought that his friends were sillier than her best friend, Samantha. There was a time when this guy pranked her. Hannah shook her head at his humorous antics. But one thing is certain, Andrew started liking her.

"Let's go having our lunch," Andrew is invited her. Hannah give him a wide smiled and nodded. He look away after. That might melting him softly.

On the other side, Jake also had his own achievements. His new business had become successful after five years of hard work and trust. He promoted it through business commercials and expanded it to international import and export. His relationship with Lily was also going well. Even though Lily has her own job as an investor at Miller Group, she's also helping Jake's Gold and Jewelry Shop increase its profits and make the business more successful, avoiding any deadweight loss. Jake hugged her as he entered her office. She's good at convincing their customers, even those who can't afford their affordable prices. Jake hugged her as he entered her office.

"Can we talk?" Lily asked.

"Of course. What do you want to talk about?" Lily held his hand as they sat on the loveseat sofa sweetly smiling to talk.

"I think we should also lower the prices. Some of your customers can't afford the current affordable prices, but most of them can. This way, we can avoid any deadweight loss. Not too much of a price reduction, just enough for the consumers to afford," explained Lily. Jake proudly smiled at what she said.

"I trust you, my Lily. Let's do it together to achieve our goal of customer satisfaction," agreed Jake. They held hands as they went outside and started to examine every item to adjust the prices.

Thanks to Lily, another achievement he unlocked. This is why Jake so proud of having her in his side. She's really good in studying marketing. Choosing Lily for him is not a waste. He do love Lily. Not because she's good in researching and studying the market loss and strategy. As when they adjust the prices, they achieve the shop goals. Lot's of costumers satisfied with it's prices. Jake hug her tight for the happiness he felt about their achievement. He's lucky to have this supportive girl, Lily.
