"Why though? This is the first time you have ever had a squabble with him, what happened?" "He was just being a jerk" Bianca retorted, "I don't like jerks" Willams sighed and stood up, "I know you were wrong so you should apologize to him" "What? Bianca could not believe her ears, "are you taking his side right now?" She scoffed and also stood up, "for your information he was the person who was wrong and not me" grabbing her phone, she stalked off. "So much for loyalty" Bianca muttered under her breath before entering her room, she was fuming with anger and her eyebrows were raised. Sitting on her bed for a while, her mind drifted back to Alex and she sighed, funny enough she was missing him. Looking at the wall clock, she picked up her phone again. It was already past seven and he was sure to be home from work now but she didn't know if he was going to pick his phone though. With the last strain of hope, Bianca dialed his number and it began to ring. For a while, no one answered the phone but before she could press the end button, she heard a "hello" from the other end. "Hello, Alex" Bianca called and became quiet, she didn't know what to say at this point. Truthfully yesterday she crossed the line but it was because she was mad and ..... Rolling her eyes, the lady heaved another sigh, "Alex, I know I messed up yesterday and I am very sorry about that, I just......" Bianca's voice trailed off again. "Open the door" he finally said from the other end and she was stunned for a moment. "What?" "The temperature is not very conducive for me at the moment Bianca, I might freeze to death if I stand longer than this on your porch" Reality dawned on her and she scampered out of her room, Alex was on her porch. Did it mean he wanted to actually come and see her? Was he not mad at her anymore? Willams was taken aback when he saw Bianca walk past him to the door and threw it open. Alex was standing in front of her and he had a fur coat on while using his hand to secure it on his body. "I didn't know it is snowing " she mumbled to him before gesturing for him to enter the house. "Thank you," the man muttered before entering the house. "I thought you were mad at me and you didn't want to talk to me but who would have thought you would be standing on my porch when I called you" Bianca said while coming behind him but the man ignored her and went over to exchange pleasantries with Williams who was playing with his daughter. "My wife just told me about the little squabble you had" "Did she tell you what caused it?" Alex asked as he ruffled the little girl's hair before lowering himself on the sofa. "Whatever it is, you should try and sort it out okay?" After talking, Williams picked his daughter up and left the two of them alone. Bianca who was still standing by the door slowly made her way to the living room and stood in front of Alex, her face was expressionless and..... "Why did you come here?" "Don't you have something else to say?" He inquired with raised eyebrows, "you shouldn't be feeling so entitled, even Willams knows you were wrong" "I am older than you Alex so you should be apologizing and...." The words hung in her throat. The man in front of her just kept looking without saying a word, it was more of a silent torture. "Even the Bible says you should not anger the little ones Bianca and for the love of God, you crossed the line and you know that" "I was stating facts" she blurted. "At the expense of my own feelings?" Alex half yelled and stood up, "you know how this is important to me and you really think some woman is going to make me change my mind? Really Bianca? "Fine I was wrong" she finally admitted her mistake, "i was just pissed and I got out of line, I am sorry Alex '' she sounded sincere and he couldn't stay mad at her, she was the only person who could help him by the way. "Why don't we step out and talk? I don't want your husband hearing our discussion" "Sure" Bianca shrugged before walking towards the dining table, "I will step out for a while with Alex" "Sure, make sure you grab your coat" Bianca smiled, God blessed her with the best husband ever. He was not the suspicious type and she was not one to break his trust either. The two of them were perfect for each other and he supported her friendship with Alex with everything he's got, everyday she always thanked the universe for giving her the best people in the world. By the time they got into his black Lexus, the snow was already gone but the night was still chilly. Alex removed his coat and draped it over her again before turning on the heat pad of the car. "Are you warm enough?" "Yeah I am" Bianca mumbled, "what did you want to tell me though? Or you wanna give me another lecture?" "I told Aiden everything" he finally dropped the bombshell and for a moment, Bianca was trying to make meaning to what he said and when the realization dawned on her, her eyes opened wide and her mouth hung open in awe. "You did what? Are you nuts?" "I needed another man on the team, I don't want to keep putting you in the face of the hottest battle. You have already done enough for me and I don't want to keep dragging you into my mess" "How did he take it?" Bianca still asked, "i bet he almost jumped out of his skin" Her statement made Alex laugh, she wasn't wrong either. "Well, you took it more than he did" The two of them went silent, they both had a lot to say to each other but it all came down to the revenge plan. No one knew when the real Alex was going to come back and delay was dangerous. "What are your plans now?" The lady inquired after a while, "you have announced your wedding to take place on Saturday, so what happens after that? "I already told Aiden what he was going to do, break into Gerald's house that day and steal that keycard" "What?" A look of horror flashed across her face, "Aiden will break into Gerald's mansion? Are you fucking kidding me right now?" "I can't possibly go, can I? I have to be at my wedding and i can't have you go, Gerald can't see you" She scoffed and leaned forward, "don't tell me you think Gerald doesn't know I am alive or we both meet up?" "Of course Bianca, he is not a fool. He just doesn't know how to make his move yet seeing how you are taking everything casually and didn't even cause a stir on the internet" "Hmmm" Gerald was a strong opponent and whoever underestimated him was a bigger fool, staying one step ahead of Gerald was the only goal at this point. "I will go with Aiden and make sure he doesn't fuck up, we can't make any mistakes again" "But....." She interrupted him, "we will figure something out before then, we just have to play smart this time around. Gerald is much more sly than we can ever imagine Alex" "Don't worry B, i know how to tackle him, "let's hope our plans work" "Well yeah" a shoulder shrug followed, "we can only count on our abilities now" "Hmmmm" Then he went silent, he was going to the forefront of the battle now and making a mistake was going to cost his life just like ten years ago. A mistake he didn't plan on making again. "You should meet up with him" Bianca announced after a while and Alex's face changed from smiling to that of a frown in a matter of seconds. "Listen to my olan before you chew me Alex, what I mean is you can meet up with him and try to make him as comfortable as he can with you. Once he is, he won't suspect you even if anything happens. You have been getting on his last nerves for a while now and he is bound to suspect you if anything goes wrong" "That sounds like a plan" "I know right" her voice was laced with a hint of pride and Alex couldn't help but smile at her, she could be so dramatic if she wanted to. "Very well then, I will do as you have said" "Good" After talking for a while, she finally went back into the house while Alex was still parked in the driveway. He had a lot going on in his mind but he didn't want to drag Bianca into it a lot more than she was already neck deep into. Picking up his phone he reread the message that Gerald sent to him. "I know you have Bianca, give her to me and and I will let your wedding go properly" The fact that he didn't show remorse for what he did angered Alex the most, how could a man be so callous and hateful? "I won't let anything happen to anyone close to me" he muttered under his breath before dialing the man's phone and he made the call..... ***** Gerald, who was seated alone on his porch, was not surprised to see Alex's call pop up. Being from the bride's side of the family, he had a lot of advantages up his sleeve. "I didn't know you were going to call this early Alex" the man taunted, "it seems you are also so desperate to get married" "We should meet up," Alex answered. "Why? I don't think we need to meet me before getting the job done" Gerald sounded so evil and Alex couldn't help but think about that night, the night he massacred his family. "You don't get to order me around Gerald, I will be at the house in a jiffy" and with that ended the call and zoomed out of the driveway. Funny how Gerald thought that he could order him around like that.
