I sat there Gobsmacked as I stared at them, i felt the whole world spinning right in front of me. I stared in disbelief.

Was this really the one i call my sister?

Was this really my Francis?

Was this really Francis paige and Fiona Everest?

Is this even real?

I sat astound unable to accept the truth that was clearly right here in front of me.

"How long as this been going on ?" I stuttered as I find my voice and just like I had expected my voice had turned hoarse.

" For two years now" Fiona answered smiling.

What the hell, my sister and my three years boyfriend were in a relationship for five years and I couldn't even notice or get suspicious.

I didn't even see the clues.

I'm really stupid, really really stupid.

A wild pathetic smile left my lips as I stare into space.

" Look, Ophelia, I know you're angry probably surprise, I told mom you won't take it so easy but she wouldn't even wanna hear me out" Fiona spoke up as she stared at me.

" Wait--, does mom knows about this?" I couldn't help but questioned.

This is getting so confusing and I'm getting confused already.

"C'mon Lia, we're getting engaged the day after tomorrow, do you think mom and dad doesn't knows about this,? About us? Of course they do, right Francis ?" Fiona ended with a question for Francis.

" Yes love, of course, they do, they are absolutely in full support of us " Francis confirmed and took shanshan's hand before placing a soft kiss on her ring finger, which was adorned with a diamond ring.

My eyes was quick to see the ring that sat firmly on Fiona's finger and at that moment,

I accepted it all, all of it,

My boyfriend for three years has been in a secret affair with my elder sister and they are getting engaged soon enough, with the blessings of my own parents at that.

I let out an hysterical laugh... Who says family is the only true friendship you can find.

The constant asking if Francis had proposed to her from Fiona, the constant late night work excuses from Francis.

How could the best oxford student turn so foolish in the aspect of love?

My phone rang and I stared at the caller id, till it went off, I couldn't find the strength to pick up the ringing phone.

It rang one more time again and I stared at it before finally picking up the call, I slide the pick button and lazily place it on my ears.

" Lia _ come over there is this ---,"

"Lia, are you okay ?" Clarissa asks as she heard her friend whimpered from the other line.

" Ophelia, what's wrong? Friggin talk to me"Clarissa urges in panic, yet gaining silence from the other line.

' is something wrong with her ' Clarissa thought.

" Lia, speak to me "Clarissa yelled in panic .

" Risa, Francis is getting engaged to ..... Fiona " I finally spoke up after holding it in.

My voice broke down at the end but Clarissa could hear it all.

" What the annoying shit, is that Lia, you know, tell me where you are I'll come find you" Clarissa uttered in panic but all she heard was the sound of a ending call.

"C'mon Lia " Clarissa groaned as she threw the phone to the bed, Ophelia had just hanged up on her.

Ophelia stood motionlessly on the road, if she was told something like this was gonna happen to her, she would have denied it affirmly.

But life isn't a bed of roses, Francis piage, Fiona Dad,Mom...does Jason Everest also knows about this? She wondered.

She felt a huge gush of wind blew past her and turn to see the sky already turning black, grumbling angrily.

Ophelia fell on her kneels, not just those she loves were against her, the whole universe were against her . She believes god himself had turned his back against her .

Soon the rain started pouring but Ophelia stood there, she didn't even had the urge to look for shelter, she wanted to be drenched In the rain at all cost.

Clarissa had been pacing in her room, lia isn't answering her call neither was she calling back. The gaze through her window and sigh as she watched the rain vent out angrily.

Just then a knock came in and immediately she rushed to open it already guessing who it was.

A gasp left her mouth when she saw Ophelia shivering out in the rain.

" My goodness, Lia what's wrong with you? Why did you allow yourself get drenched in the rain?" Clarissa scolded gently before pushing her in.

" And the bitch Fiona , gawd, I hate her." She continued.

" No..Risa, I won't " Lia hoarse voice let out, it was so obvious she had cry too much.

" C'mon Lia, you are gonna show that fool Francis piage what he had lost and of course that bitch of a girl name Fiona , you're not gonna be down all because of a crazy betrayals like them" Clarissa ended with a tone of finality.
