Chapter 4 Episode 4

Immediately, Liliana grabbed her phone from the dressing table and opened her mail and behold, it was her first task.

The little sleep that had gripped her eyes disappeared immediately as she tapped on the mail and it opened, displaying in full context what she was expected to do.

She sat carefully on the wooden chair just beside the dressing table as she read the text inwardly.

" Your first task is to get Mr Harrison Daniels to notice you, you are to attend a function of which he too will attend and during the occasion, you will make deliberate efforts in making him take notice of you.

Meet me at LAURA'S TREAT on Monday, 12:00pm for more information"

As she read the text, she could not help but to feel chills coursing through her veins and blood vessels, still unable to believe that she was actually going to embark on this journey.

Well, she had already agreed and there was no turning back so she just had to carry on.

"What was his name again?... " She searched through the text and found his name, then she searched him on Google hoping for a result and as expected, few information with his pictures came out.

Liliana stared keenly into her phone with gleaming eyes as she tried to gather information about this Mr Harrison but unfortunately she couldn't get any useful information.

She switched off her phone and went to bed, though she could hardly catch some sleep as she kept thinking about how the task was going to be.

**

★MONDAY★

Monday was a bit snowy, people who walked along the road were seen on thick clothing as they intended to keep out the cold.

That morning, Mr Harrison was clad in a casual outfit with a thick jacket as he headed out of his room, all ready for work.

His hair was neatly brushed to a side, not one strand was out of place which matched his personality. He was a perfectionist.

Stepping into to living area, his eyes wandered around and noticed something odd.

Harry stopped on his track as he noticed that the pillows on the sofas were slightly out of place which was something that usually never happened.

His once stoic face turned even more grave, seeing something that was not properly done or perfectly placed was like thorns in his eyes, everything had to be placed properly.

"Gloria!" His deep voice sounded in the large living area as he called out to the house keeper.

"Yes sir..." A young woman that should be in her early thirties hurriedly came into the living area with a lowered head, waiting for Harrison to give out orders but he remained silent, further stretching the tension that slowly built up.

After minutes of waiting, Gloria slowly lifted her head to look at him, she knew that Harrison her boss was one quiet person but his silence was very dreadful. Especially after when one is being called by him.

It meant that something was out of place and everyone knew the consequence of something being out of place.

"Look around" his voice came out cold.

Gloria looked around her and of course her eyes saw the disarranged throw pillows.

"Oh!.... Forgive me sir..." She immediately went to put them in place, making sure that they were all perfectly placed.

Harrison's eyes followed the lady's movements as she carefully arranged the pillows before turning around to face him.

"You are fired, pack your things and leave" Harrison did not wait to see the horrified look on the lady's face, he turned around and walked away.

His car was already set for him so he got in and shut the door before his driver skillfully maneuvered out of the gates.

Harrison's phone rang, drawing his attention. He picked it up and swiped green to answer the call from Mr Lincoln, the CEO of Natureline enterprise.

"Hey... Mr Daniels, how are you?"

"Good" Harry relaxed into the seat.

" I suppose you have gotten my invitation huh?... That's great. I want to propose a deal with you but that will be after the celebration... There will be an after party and you are invited! (Chuckles) ...There's going to be special services you know... So that you can fire up your engine.... "

" Fire up my engine?..."

" Oh come on man, you know what I mean, I know it has been a long time since you got some good fuvk... But don't worry, you gonna have as much as you can!..."

" And how did you know that I want some good fuvk?"

" Every man wants a good fuvk... Every man needs a good fuvk Mr Daniels and you aren't any different... I am specially going to arrange a pretty girl with huge ass and boobs just the way you like it, so that you can burn some steam and cool off... You know..."

Harrison said nothing, allowing the man to speak on as he only listened with not so much interest till the man had nothing else to say to him.

"Alright Mr Daniels, take care of yourself"

" Sure" Harrison cut the call and tossed his phone to the side as a deep breath erupted from his throat.

Thinking about it, it had actually been a long time since he had some good fuvk, according to Mr Lincoln... And he didn't even realize it, guess some good fuvk won't be that bad would it?...

TRIS'S BEAUTY AND FASHION

Tricia sat comfortably on her swivel chair while her close friend Clara sat on the opposite chair, both held each other's gaze, saying nothing until Clara decided to break the silence.

"Are you insane?"

"What?"

"Did you really think about this?"

" Yes... "

" And you feel good about it? "

" I feel so good " Tricia gestured with her hands in the air and a smile on her face.

"That's it... You are sick... Get up!, Let's go to the doctor"

" Clara!... Okay what is the problem?'

"You said you want to get back at him?"

" Yes"

" Why?, Because he broke up with you?, You fuvking cheated!"

" I know, so? "

" Look Tricia, you better drop this plan of yours because it won't work"

" Clara, I thought you were my friend?"

"Of course"

" Then you are supposed to stand by me and back me up"

" Of course you know I will always do that but not when you are about to do something wrong that would probably cost your life! Do you know who Harrison is? "

" Do you also know who I am?, Chill girl... It's not like I'm going to kíll him"

" Okay what if the plan doesn't work? "

" It will work!, Be positive "

" How are you going to assure that? "

" I have a little gamer who will run it for me" a satisfactory smile plastered on her lips. "And I have a meeting with her this afternoon"

" Well, my hands are off Tricia... Do not say I did not warn you".

Clara stood up and walked out of the office, leaving Tricia alone with her crazy plans.

★12:00 pm, LAURA'S TREAT ★

Liliana had already arrived as she was on lunch break. She found a spot and sat down while waiting for her boss.

In about twenty minutes time, the glass doors of the restaurant opened and Tricia walked in. Liliana composed herself as Tricia located her and took a seat on the opposite chair.

"G... good day ma'am" she stuttered in her greetings but Tricia cared less about her pleasantries as she went straight to business.

"Harrison will be attending a function in three days time at the Grande Lux event center, you will also attend the function and try to get him to notice you "

" Okay ma'am-"

" Boss! " Tricia shot burning daggers with her eyes at lily who shivered in fear. She hated being called ma'am as it made her feel like an old woman when she was only twenty eight.

"A... alright Boss"

"You must do everything in your power to make him notice you, I don't care what ever you do, just get him to notice you... You do have a pretty dress do you? "

" I ... I do have something though "

" You know what?, I will get you a dress, I don't think you will have something good enough for such occasion "

As much as lily did not want to get offended by her boss's words, she couldn't help but feel a bit offended, nevertheless she masked up her expressions.

"Okay Boss"

"Good, once you have succeeded in gaining his attention, report back to me. I will tell you what next to do. And do not forget... Keep your fuvking heart out of this!... It is purely business... What did I say? "

" Keep my fuvking heart out of this, it is purely business "

" Good, the event is going to start by two pm but you don't have to be there early, for now this is all you have to know. Find your way to tris's beauty and fashion enterprise on Thursday morning before the event"

" Yes ma... Boss"

Tricia glared hard at Liliana before she stood up and walked out of the restaurant.

Liliana's heart kept pounding inside her chest even after Tricia had gone, Tricia was one fierce woman, you wouldn't want to get on her bad side.

Well, she had gotten the needed information, all she had to do now was to wait for Thursday to come.

She headed back to her work place and continued with her work till it was time to go home. Liliana packed her things and went home.

She met her family at the dining table so she joined them.

"Good evening mom, good evening dad... Emma" she placed kisses on their cheeks before settling down on a seat, she served her dish and started eating.

Dinner was going quite well for everyone except Lily who kept thinking about one particular thing.

She had really been thinking too much and it wasn't good for her health, she had to share her thoughts with someone before she would develope high blood pressure or something even worse.

Tilting her head to the side, she looked at her sister and thought about telling her but Emma was only a little girl who would not even understand what she was saying.

She then looked at her mother, should she tell her?, what if she refuses to the deal, how then would she raise the money they needed?

Liliana decided to keep her thoughts to herself, telling no one. She finished up with dinner and headed to her room.

It was as though Thursday was far but surprisingly in just a twinkle of an eye, days went by and it was Thursday morning already.
