chapter 3: AFOMIA

Lumina POV

It's already been 1 year since I became a rogue. I make sure that I won't step on any pack boundaries to avoid trouble. It's already miracle that I'm still sane despite the lack of pack connection. My family still contacted me. And I'm living my life to the fullest. my wolf was awaken during the 5th month of the year I became a rogue. Although the first time I shifted isn't as peaceful as others but I managed to tame her.

«FLASHBACK»

I'm now working in the café and it was owned by a human. After I was banished from the pack my journey began in the city.

since I can't shift yet, I take advantage of my situation to live with humans. Good thing that the pack provide education to everyone so I can live with them at ease.

My parents give me enough money to find a shelter and buy foods and other necessity so I live here peacefully.

it's already my 5th month here in the city and I managed to find a job and in the morning I study means I'm in school.

The owner of this café feel pity on me so she somewhat adopted me and let me study. Because of my overflowing knowledge I was accelerated from highschool to college. at the age of 16 I'm already at my second year in college- I took 2 courses which is computer science and business.

Which makes Ma'am Theresa proud. She is the owner of the cafe where I work at.

At the school I'm in, I can still smell some wolf here but they just distance their self from me. who cares by the way.

Right now, I feel so strange and in school whenever I can sense wolf I can feel their fear whenever I'm near. But suddenly there was a female wolf named Marry. She approaches me with her shaking hands.

"Ha-hi," she utter Shyly.

i just stare at her which she immediately avoid by looking down.

"Eyes on me pup," I said mockingly.

I can smell some Beta vibe in her. "You must be from a beta family," she immediately looked at me then nodded.

"You don't deserve the blood that runs in your veins then," I said then smirk. even though I can't accept the fact that I'm omega I still utter the word. "You just bow down to an omega pup," I said then stood up. I was about to leave when she suddenly dragged me away from the crowd before letting me go. Even though he was shaking, he still spoke.

"You- you're a little scary but I have to say this, because I think you don't know but My wolf, she-she can smell your wolf and she's- she's willing to submit to you. She in your command. " she said while looking into my eyes. Letting me to see the truth in her eyes.

"I'm no Alpha, pup." that's all I said then left.

It's already 12 in the evening and the moon shine brighter than it has. I feel something within that wanted to be released. The memory of me and that girl suddenly appear. She can smell my wolf? But I don't have one or else .... It's about to awaken.

i've been reading about this, when the wolf failed to awaken at 13 they well be awaken at the age of 16 but they are hard to control that is why they end up being a rogue and got killed from Crossing the border.

Don't tell me ... I got kicked from the pack because of this myth. if indeed my wolf is about to awaken then ..... It's not a safe place for me.

I immediately jump off from my bed before grabbing a handful of clothes and dump in on my bag.

I grab the key on my motorcycle which I used whenever I go to school.

after starting the engine my ears hurts from the sound in it. My senses has become more strong and sensitive. I immediately drove my motorcycle in full speed until I reach the mountain.

I stop the engine and put the helmet on the handle before letting my self enter in the mountain.

i've got no flashlight thankfully the moon gives enough light so I can see the surrounding clearly. After I reach at the top of the mountain my breathing suddenly become fast and painful.As if my heart was about to explode.

i can feel the heat slowly invading my system until it reach to my head that has been hurting like hell. I immediately let go of the bag before I fall into my knees while grabbing some handful of my hair. I let a painful growl before I look up the moon that has been witnessing my suffering.

as my breath accelerates, I can feel the cracks of my bones as if it was deforming. It hurts like hell! Suddenly I can hear a voice on my head. "Finally,"

With one last scream. My bone fully deformed as I dropped all four. claws and Paws replace my hand and feet and the Canine teeth came into the view. My clothes was ripped but I don't care. Finally! She is here! My wolf is here!

As I rejoice the moment, worries succumb to me as my wolf wants to take in control. she push me back while she run as fast as she could and find something to be her prey. She wildly jump off from the big rocks that is in her way while enhancing her ability to hear and feel.

When she senses something that is suits to be her prey she jolted like a wild and hungry wolf. upon seeing the big and fat Bear her hunger become wild. The bear can't do anything but to wait for his final moment as she jump and push the bear to the ground before biting it's neck. Her claws were already rotted on the bears body. she savor the moment she eat the raw food on her mouth as the blood spread to her fur. She feels the adrenaline rush as she finished eating her prey.

She stood up high and mighty as she is ready to find another prey to hunt.

As the night ends. she let me take over the body as she wanted to rest.

I still can't believe what my eyes saw. She's ruthless. She killed her prey in the most brutal way. I fear her but once she smell the fear in me. She contacted me. "Fear me not my dear Lysithia as I am you. And you are me." it harvested in my mind.

I'm now in the lake washing all the blood on my fur. I noticed the reflection on the water. My wolf is white as snow and shining, her eyes is Silver but the pupils on it isn't black it's white she even stand so tall 5'8 to be exact. it's the tallest wolf I have ever seen and I'm glad that it's mine. She's more taller than my previous alpha who's height is only 5'5 and he is already the tallest among the pack.

I inhale the air once again, as I my bone slowly returning to it's human form. the pain isn't that painful than the first.

A lot of questions runs in my head but I'm still too weak to let my curiosity take over me. I put my clothes on even though my mind isn't clear yet. The rain suddenly starts pouring as my mind seems so cloudy. before I know, the world turn black as I my body collapse.

I woke up in this unfamiliar place. It's look like I'm in the cave.

"You're too weak to be my host." my wolf utter in my mind as soon as I wake up. I hissed from the word she says. as far as I know the wolf and it's host are one but I think I'm wrong. Psh.

"Stop mocking and state your name," I said reluctantly.

"Afomia."

"Why didn't you wake at the age of 13?"

"You still can't handle my force that time stupid," she irritated.

"Can't you just stop insulting me?" I said.

Thankfully I know a little tricks to block the wolf.

After a while, an old woman appear.

"Good morning Lu, how's your body?" Calmly harvest it then smile.

"Who are you?" High eyebrows I ask.

"I'm- I'm just no one. You can name me whatever comes to your mind." she said then approached me and made me stand up.

"Amm ... Let see, that was your first shifting right?" she then looked up at me. I just nod.

"Can you control your wolf?"

"Nope ... But she will let me if she's tired." I said then averted my eyes. Damn this wolf! I'll be under it ah.

"I forgot to say, I'm a witch by the way. I saw you on my prophecy. Blood is ahead. Chaos will be your friend while death will become your best friend." she smiled and then sat down.

"Am ...i know you're a little confused right now but, it's only me who can help you with your troubles, "

I just rolled my eyes and stand on my foot.

"I still have classes to attend. I'll be back here and deal with your shits," I rudely promised then left.

A little smile forms into my lips.

I have my wolf and she's wide awake.

"Afomia,"

"Mmm .."

"Nothing," I say and giggle. Wahh! I still can't believe it though.

I know one thing for sure. I'm not an omega. Based on the power that radiates from my wolf she's no ordinary wolf. So it means ... They are not my family? there's one way to find out.

I grab my phone and dial my mom's number. I'm still walking in the midst of this big tree, good thing that my wolf instinct is helping me to find the right path.

"Good morning my dearest princess!" My mom utter obviously she's in good mood.

"Good morning mom, by the way ... Is Dad present?"

"Of course ... Hubby! Come here," she said.

"Good morning baby,"

I turn on the camera same as them then I saw them on the farm. They must be resting.

Without hesitating, I let my wolf in control. making my eyes turned gold with a white pupil on it.

They are speechless.

"Oh Baby! You- you shift!" My mom said happily. I just nod but my wolf open her mouth.

"Aren't you going to bend your knees and respect me Omega." My wolf coldy said which surprised me. The heck!

"She's my mother Afomia!" I angrily said.

"I don't care! They must respect an Alpha or I will have their head."

Before she could say another word I pushed her back so I can now control my body.

"Mom... I'm so sorry, she's just- "but my words was cut off when they both kneeled and submit to my wolf.

After they push back their wolf my Dad utter.

"Let's meet up in the evening. We'll tell you something." Dad made a serious promise and then turned off the phone.

i run back to my motorcycle and went to school after I finished changing.

I saw Marry with her friends. When they noticed my presence they immediately bowed their head paying respect to my wolf which she immediately acknowledge. This kind of respect that I've been craving since I was a child. and smirk. "Finally."

"You already shift." Marry had a happy harvest.

I just nod then walk out head high .
