Sapphire : you know everything is not about money. Why are you comparing everything to money?

Rowan temper raised, hearing her blunt reply. He held her palm tightly and dragged her inside, saying" enough, come, dad wants to meet you."

**sapphire POV**

I was feeling like a doll who was being dragged by a giant body which belongs to my husband. I can't even say no to him. Now I am preparing myself to lie. Because I can't make him upset the man who gave me shelter after my mother.

As soon as we enter in papas room, rowan made me stand in front of papa. As I reached his bed, he opened his eyes and caressed my hair lovingly. He showed me that affection which I wanted At that moment. I hugged him tightly and started crying loudly.

Sapphire : why did you do this? Why are you not taking care of yourself? What if something happened to you?? "

Michael : I am fine, child, don't cry. Come on, give me a smile.

Sapphire : I can't even live without you in this house, papa. Please don't leave me, please.

(she expressed her emotions, her sorrow)

Michael : nothing will happen to me. You know I am the fittest old man of this country.

Saying so he kissed her forehead making her giggle.

Her giggles were so melodious to rowans ears, but he was ignorant to it. She has shine in her eyes, which is always missing when she is with him.

Michael : dear, where were you last night? I was asking about you and... "

Sapphire : nothing, papa. As I am new to this city, so I was lost. That's why I couldn't come...

Rowan looked at her with amazement as he never expected her to be like this who will save him even after his wrongdoings. She will hide such crucial things from his father.

Before Michael can say anything else, Natasha knocked on the door, rolling her eyes," hey girl. You are here, go and set the table for lunch, we have appointments in the parlor. So hurry and serve the food".

It took sapphire a while to understand that Natasha aunty is going out and leaving her husband in bed. She won't be able to do so. Still, she has no say in all this so spoke, "ok aunty I will serve it now".

As soon as she said yes and went out, rowan was getting mad...

**rowan's POV**

Damn this girl!! My so-called bloody wife. Can't she say no to her? How can she cook, when she herself has just arrived from hospital? Now she is doing all this. Nonsense...

I am done with her drama to be a good daughter-in-law. She will be facing hell. Even I can't show more sympathy to her, she will try to be my wife again...

After making food she took the food trolley to Michael room and knocked his door "may I come in papa?".

Michael : yes, yes you can, dear.

Sapphire : papa, I brought lunch for you. It's time for your medicine.

Michael : are you done with your lunch??

Sapphire : yes, i...I will eat later... Papa

Michael : sapphire, everything is fine, my child? Asking this, he patted her head.
