Chapter 5 Lionne

Chapter Five: Lionne

Lionne:

Lionne listened closely as his parents talked about what they just learned. This recent addition to the pack turned out to be a witness to the horrors of the facility where they rescued Dorian. And as it turned out, she knew him. It was a surprise when she burst into the office, following his scent. Her bright blue eyes searched for someone. Her soft face, her beauty, was overwhelming, even if she looked unnaturally pale. Lionne's wolf howled in his head, trying to tell him something. He inhaled the scents in the room, thinking maybe, just maybe, that... but he couldn't smell her. Maybe his wolf was wrong. Lionne held his breath. Thinking, hoping that she might have been looking for him. But this wasn't the case. No, she ran into the arms of his best friend. His twin and his shared a look of disbelief. He knew something inside them was calling us to her. But their wolves' words were unclear. It had been a year since they shifted and yet they hadn't gained full control of their wolves.

This vampire... There was something special about her, something that was driving their wolves wild. The twins watched as she shared a kiss with Dorian and climbed into his lap. They listened as they told their story to their parents. A story the twins had heard parts of before, but this time was different. Dorian was speaking more openly about it, explaining details he didn't before. He even showed his scared back, something nobody had ever seen before. They both implied she had the same scars, leading the twin's wolf to become distressed at the thought of this mysterious girl being abused. Lionne couldn't understand why, but they couldn't draw our focus away from this girl. His eyes followed her every movement, till she fell asleep in his friend's arms. Both boys felt jealous at the thought of him holding her.

Then Dorian and she left the room with Lucy and her mate. Lionne knew they were taking her home to get some rest. He only wished that he had been the one holding her.

What is he thinking? This girl was a vampire. Lionne shouldn't want her anywhere near me, but he wants her. They both want her. She said that Dorian wasn't her mate. She said she couldn't tell. But she should know, just from his scent.

That brings him back to the thought. He couldn't smell her. She didn't have a scent. Vampires are the worst-smelling creatures, reeking of death and decay. But he couldn't smell her, and neither could his brother. He knew it could be because they hadn't shifted yet, but he could smell everything else. It makes little sense.

The twins had stared at her the entire time she was here, drinking her appearance. Her long, white hairstyle was in a French braid. Her soft lips were painted red, her bright blue eyes highlighted with eyeliner and dark eye shadow. She wore a purple cut-off top and a leather jacket, black leggings pulled over her thick thighs. A thick leather purple collar on her neck hid her future marking spots. Lionne wondered why she would wear something like that to meet his parents. There had to be a reason behind it. Was she hiding something?

Maybe the twin's wolves are just horny bastards. She was so beautiful; her face was soft, her features so delicate and those curves' oh goodness those curves. He wonders what her pump breasts feel like, how sensitive they must be. Lionne wondered if her hips are plump too, what it would be like to be between them, licking her cunt. She had to have a tight cunt, a pretty little cunt. Her lips looked sweet. Lionne thought about how they would look around his cock.

What was he thinking? This creature isn't something he should want to screw.

But Lionne could tell his twin was thinking the same thing. We would need to see this girl again. Maybe by seeing her again, they can get her out of their heads...

"Lionne, are you listening?" his mother questioned, breaking from his thoughts.

"Yes, mother," He answered back quickly, not wanting to piss her off because he wasn't listening.

"Okay, so, like I was saying. I expect both of you to be friendly with Aurora. Since she is friends with Dorian, it shouldn't be hard for her to be in your friend's group at school. I know it seems weird having a vampire around, but as the future alphas of this pack, you must set an example for the rest of the pack. If you are friendly with the girl, everyone will treat her with respect. This is not a request," his mother stated, in her Luna's voice, commanding them.

"Yes, mother," they both answered back, unable to fight the power of her voice.

"Good. Now you need to make sure she doesn't get upset. According to Lucy, her wolf is a bit feral and will attack anyone she sees as a threat," their father, Elliot, added.

"What the fuck? You're letting someone with a feral wolf into the pack?" Lionne yelled. He couldn't believe my parents would be so stupid. A feral hybrid in their pack. How the hell can they let a feral werewolf into the pack? They are so dangerous, they could kill anyone for any reason. They are putting everyone in this pack in danger.

"What will you have us do? She is a witness now, and it's not like it's her fault. The abuse she suffered from the facility traumatizes her. Aurora needs a place to heal, to move past what happened to her. And from the looks, she might be your future Beta's mate," his mother stated. He can't say he understood her reasoning but, he knew he can't fight her on this.

"I don't think Dorian is her mate," Arturio stated.

"Why do you say that?" their father Alfonso questioned.

"Because she said as much. She said she couldn't tell. She could tell," Arturio answered, not mentioning the draw their wolves felt to the girl. After all, they didn't understand it. Her beauty could just be the reason. She was very attractive.

"Either way, she is staying, and you both need to play your part. You are her friends and her protectors. Do you understand?" their mother commanded. They didn't have a choice in the matter. They had to obey our mother's command.

"Yes, Mother," they answered together, baring their necks in an act of submission. Asher laughed, seeing the twins bound by their mother's voice. He always found humor in their mother's ability to command them and the rest of the pack.

"Good. Now I expect both of you to come with me to visit her tomorrow. We have a few more questions for her and Dorian. I don't expect he will be willing to leave her side now that he's found her again," their mother stated, turning towards their father and smiling. They were thinking they were mates. But Lionne's wolf growled at the thought.

The twins' parents talked more about the investigation into the facility and the black market trade of pups and other supernatural children. They had destroyed a few other facilities over the years but never came close to finding the leader of the organization. Though they know who he was, it seemed he was always slipping through their fingers and avoiding justice for his crimes. Mother and our fathers hated the man. Someone who had been a part of my mother's past. Someone who had hurt her.

The twins left a few hours later and found themselves sitting in Lionne's bedroom. Much like his brother's room, everything was some type of tone of gray. From the walls to the curtains, to the bed, everything was a sleek gray. They both liked the clean look that they designed their rooms the same. Breaking the rustic look of the rest of the pack house. Neither of them knew what to say, but they were both still thinking of that girl and what the feeling of their wolves could mean.

"I think she might be our mate," Arturio finally said out loud.

"I think so too, but I couldn't smell her, could you?" Lionne questioned, already knowing the answer. Arturio nodded his head in agreement.

"If she was our mate, then we could smell her, right?" Lionne questioned. He paused, thinking for a moment. Lionne knew he was going over the possibilities in his head.

"Well, we haven't shifted yet. We might not scent her until we shift in a few weeks," Arturio answered.

"I had thought the same, but we can smell everyone else. At least I can," Lionne stated. He paused again, thinking again. Arturio was always like this, taking the time to find the right words.

"She could use something to block her scent. I wouldn't be surprised. She is part vampire," Arturio stated...

"That would make sense. What do we do?" Lionne questioned, knowing that he would be the best person to come up with a plan to find out the truth. Whatever that might be.

"Do you even want her if she is our mate?" Arturio asked, surprising his brother.

"Of course, I don't like the idea of having her as my mate, but I know better than to go against the moon goddess. She always had her reasons," Lionne answered honestly. He knows what can happen to a pack if an Alpha rejects his true Luna. They can't even entertain the idea. This girl might be the last person he would want the moon goddess to choose for them, but that doesn't mean they have the right to reject her. The moon goddess has her reasons, even if they aren't clear at the moment.

"We don't know for sure yet. But from the looks of things, we will have plenty of chances to find out," his brother stated.

"I don't like the fact she kissed Dorian," Lionne blurted out without even thinking about it. Arturio growled, as did the wolf in his head. They really didn't like the thought.

"We can't think too much about it. Once the mate bond hits her, she won't be able to fight it. Her feelings for Dorian, whatever they might be, won't matter anymore. She won't be able to fight the urge to be with her true mate," Arturio stated. His brother wasn't wrong; the mate bond was impossible to fight. The burning needs to be with the one whom the Moon Goddess chose for. Soon, your wolf would force the person to their mate.

"You sound so sure. But, we can't know for sure. They went through hell together, and she didn't know us. I doubt she would trust us. I don't think the mate bond will be strong enough to draw her to us," Lionne stated, hoping that would express his worries to where he could understand what he was thinking.

"You are worrying for no reason. We will spend a lot of time with her, protecting her. We will have plenty of time to get to know her and for us to get to know her. The mate bond will grow the more time we spend with her. She will learn to trust us," Arturio stated. "But we are talking like we know for sure if she is our mate. We could just think she is beautiful."

"How do we find out?" Lionne questioned, knowing he already had a plan in mind.

"We just give it time, brother. Everything is moving so fast for her. I doubt she wants to rush into a relationship with her mates. She needs time to settle into the pack, and then we can focus on finding out the truth," Arturio stated, and Lionne nodded his head, knowing that he was right. As much as he wanted to find out the truth and possibly have his mate by his side. She just lost someone. Aurora has to be grieving. They needed to support her while she became comfortable in the pack before they looked into the possibility. Working to get to know and understand her, letting the mate bond grow naturally.
