Chapter 5

"I don't want to, Sir Hellion. If that's the case, let's end our contract. And if I were you, you'd just have a girlfriend. For sure, there are many willing people out there. Then, ask you to get married. Then, do something your son." I said before drinking the water reserved on our table He didn't say a word. He stared at me for a few seconds before looking away. "Just take it or leave it, Reiv." he said "I don't want to. I don't look like much money, Sir. My dignity is getting worse. But don't worry. I will leave this contract one day," I answered. I don't want to get pregnant even if the price is a lot of money. Just then my phone rang. I took that. Lyn is calling. I stood up before answering the call.

"Hello, Lyn?" I raised my voice. "Hello ma'am, are you related to Miss Lynette Perez?" I was surprised because another voice answered. "Yes, he is my friend. Why?"

I was suddenly nervous for some unknown reason. "Ma'am, Miss Perez is in the hospital now. She almost killed herself, ma'am. She has cuts on her wrist,"

I held my heart. "Which hospital?" the woman said which Hospital after the call was cut off. I hurried to Sir Hellion.

"H-Hellion, I'm leaving. I have to go somewhere. Thank you for the food. And as for what you said, I still don't want to," I said before leaving him.

I'm worried about my friend now. Why would he do that?

I almost ran to enter the Hospital where Lyn was. I didn't get to say goodbye to Hellion properly. I know he can manage his self. He's old enough.

When I arrived at the reception area, I immediately asked. "Room 15 "

I didn't finish what the nurse was saying and left immediately. I hurriedly looked for room 15. When I got to the front, I immediately opened the door of the room. The doctors here looked at me.

"D-Doc, what happened to my friend?" I asked as I walked closer. I looked at Lyn's bed. She's sleeping. He has bruises and cuts. The side of his lip also has a wound. What happened to her? "Your friend had an accident, Miss. A car accident. Her brain was not affected and when she's already here, we discovered that she also had cuts on her wrist." said the Doctor. I looked at him. I cried. She's my only family. He was my family since I lost everything. I don't know if I can handle losing him.

The Doctor looked at Lyn. "We also found out that she's 4 weeks pregnant. The baby's now okay but if she wasn't taken to the hospital immediately, she might have been caught." he added.

I approached Lyn. Why would he do this?

"Alright, thanks Doc." I said. The Doctor also said goodbye that they will leave first after that. I was left stunned by Lyn. I feel sorry for his condition.

I watched his behavior for a few seconds when the door opened. I thought it was Hellion. He's like a mushroom. It will suddenly appear. "Reivea.." he called my name.

He approached me. He caressed my back. "Hush, stop crying." he said. I wiped my tears. I'm sobbing. He sat in front of me causing us to get even. I sat on the chair while he was in front of me I can't hold back my tears, they keep falling. "I-I can't lose Lyn. She's my only family." I said crying. I wiped my tears again. I saw Sir smile slightly. I do not know why. "It's my first time seeing you like this, a fragile Reivea. I always see a tender and sometimes feisty, Reivea." he said before hugging me.

I just let it. Sometimes it makes me think too. I don't know why in the few months I've been with Sir, I haven't felt any romantic feelings for him. I only get hurt sometimes because of him but maybe that's normal because we have a contract. Sir is kind sometimes but sometimes he has a really bad attitude. I just wonder why he is still not married. He's 36 years old already. 8 years older than me. This is probably the reason why she wants to have children.

He hugged me for a few seconds but my tears still didn't stop. "S-Sir, why are you" I was shocked when Sir Hellion kissed me and sucked the skin on my neck. I gasped because of what he did. "Why did you do that?" I asked when he removed his lips from my neck.

"What do I want you to call me?" he asked with raised eyebrows. I kept my mouth shut. That's it. I breathed deeply.

"H-Hellion, I might be gone for a few days. I'll take care of my friend first. He doesn't have his parents anymore, I'm his family." I said while looking into his eyes.

"No problem," he said. He wiped my tears with his thumb. I snorted before wiping away my tears. "Thank you," I said.

"What food do you want? I still haven't eaten," he asked later. I raised an eyebrow at him. "You have not eaten yet?" I will ask. He nodded slowly before standing up. I followed him with my eyes. "I was worried about you, you know? I would be celibate if I'll lose you." he said as he took another seat.

I frowned. "There are many other girls out there, Hellion. Last time I heard you talking with a girl on the phone. If I'm not mistaken, her name's Paloma. You also told her that I'm just a shit to fuck and I just need your money, right? Maybe soon you can have him as a bed partner when I retire," when I remembered that I just laughed.

I don't have that anymore. Because I accept the truth. Not only will I not allow them to look down on me even more, I will not allow that. I realized that what he said last time was just a mild pain "Oh? That girl, Paloma?" he asked. I nodded while still looking at him. He sat beside me.

"She was my ex-fling. We haven't been together for a long time. I just don't know how she got my personal number. At that time, I am so pissed at you. I should be the only man in your life but there is another man still. I can't accept that so I purposely let you hear the conversation between the two of us. I raised an eyebrow at him. What is this man saying? I faced him. Our faces are facing each other. Just a few steps and we will kiss "Whipped?" I will ask.

He quickly shook his head. "You're just driving me too crazy, Reiv." he said. I just laughed at him. I don't understand him. I averted my gaze from him.

"Stop me, Hellion. You're flirting with me again "Have I kissed you for a long time?" I looked at him when he said that. He raised his eyebrows while looking at me.

"Sorry huh? I don't get you," I smiled slightly even though I really wanted to laugh. I just want to tease him. He's also cracking up at my nonsense now. He wasn't like this before. What happened?

I saw the line of his lips. "As for Reivea. Did you really not understand that?" both his shoulders fell. What did he drink today and why is he like this?

"No, sorry Hellion." I said before standing up. I left him first. Before I finally left, I heard him whispering there. I just laughed.

I put my hand to my heart. Reivea, calm down your heart!

HELLION'S POV

"D-Doctor, my leg still hurts.."

I stopped reading the record book I was reading when I heard my patient's little voice. I look at him. He's pointing his leg. It's bleeding again. I looked at him before I stood up.

"Wait me here, okay? I'll be back." I said as I walk as fast as I can. I saw that boy in the park who tripped. The Hospital owned by my step-mom is nearby so I brought him here to clean his wound.

"Good morning, Doc." some of the nurses greeted me. I smiled a bit.

When I got what I was supposed to get, I went back right away. I caught that boy hugging a girl. Maybe it's his Mom.

"Mom, you're here.." the boy said. I gulped because of that. I never experienced that ever since I was a kid.

"Excuse me, ma'am." I smiled at them as I walked slowly. They stopped hugging and both looked at me. "D-Doc, thank you for bringing my son here. Thank you very much and you are the one who saw him," the lady said with a smile.

I smiled at them too. "Welcome, ma'am. It's my job to treat a child's sick and wounded," I smiled as I said that, ignoring what I actually felt.

"I'll just apply the second patch again. Then I'll just prescribe him medicine for infection." I added.

I treated my patient's wound again. After that I gave the prescription. Before they left, the boy thanked me again. I just smiled then waved my hand to him.

I got in my car and went to the Hospital where Reviea was. It is crazy that we had a deal in which she is the one who will come to me whenever I need her but now, the table just turned. I shook my head because of that thought.

I shouldn't feel this way, but I can't help it I still remember what I did to him just before. I sounded so desperate to have my own child and I even felt sorry for him. I learned my mistake. That was stupid of me. It's like I imitated myself from my father if I did that to Reviea.

She doesn't deserve to be treated like that. She's precious. I am afraid to loose her just because of my stupidity.

It only took me a few minutes and I arrived at the Hospital where he and his friend were. I texted her first before I went out of my car. I hung out by my car for a while waiting for his text.

From: Vea

That's my sign to leave. I took the elevator. I was with a man who looked familiar to me. He's holding a small bouquet of red roses and a basket of fruits.

I frowned. He's really familiar to me.

We still have the same floor to go to. He walked ahead of me. I stopped walking when I saw him knock on the door where Reviea and her friend were. My forehead furrowed even more.

I also entered and I did not expect to catch this man handing Reivea that bouquet.

My jaw clenched. I clenched my fists. I need to calm myself! I took a deep breath before walking closer to them. I guess they didn't feel my presence.

I walk towards Reivea. I possessively snaked my hands around her waist. I also put my other hand in my pocket. My hand is trembling. I should f-king calm down!

"Vea.." I almost whispered her name.

The eyebrows of the man in front of us met. I guess, he's clueless.

VEA'S POV

"I think that Sir Hellion's kindness to me today is really worth it,"

Lyn stopped sipping her soup after I said that. He looked into my eyes after he let go of the spoon he was holding. "Why?" he asked.

I shrugged. "I don't know either, but I feel like he's been kind to me these past few weeks and I think that all of that is worth it." I went down to Lyn's bed.

It's been a few days since he woke up. And I know now that even though she and her baby are doing pretty well, her mental health is still not good. "Maybe that's different," he teased with a smile.

I turned away from him. I adjusted my posture. "Alright, just eat. It looks like you and your baby are healthy," I said. He gave me a thumbs up before eating again. He knows his condition. She's happy with it and I'm also happy for her. He told me that he didn't need his cheating ex to raise their child. He said he could.

"I'm leaving first, right?" I say goodbye. He nodded silently. I went straight to the restroom and just in time I also received a text from Sir Hellion. I only read it after I peed.

"I'll go there to check you," I read his text. I replied.

After that I left and entered the room. A few moments later I heard a knock on the door. I thought it was him but it turned out to be Sir Roco! He's handsome with his style. A simple plain brown t-shirt paired with a pants. Something for him.

He brought fruit and a bouquet. He gave it to Lyn. I heard Lyn giggle when Sir Roco presented me with the bouquet he had brought.

When I got the flower, I felt something grab my waist. I smelled a familiar scent. "Vea.." Sir Hellion almost whispered my name. I gulped.

Sir Roco's eyebrows met. "Reviea? Who is this guy?" he asked. He looked at me for a moment before looking back at Hellion. I don't want to look at Sir Hellion now. Maybe I'll see something that will add to my doubts.

"Why don't you ask me who I am to Reviea's life, right?"
