Chapter 6 A Rare Opportunity

**Gael's POV**

I paced the floor of my room, and got lost in thoughts. I had many things in mind. Okay, as much as it was tempting to get an interview with this world-famous man, I just couldn't help but hesitate about the whole situation.

This was because it was just too good to be true. But foremost, I need to report to my boss and explain things. This way, I wouldn't end up being laid off from work.

Turstin... I hope I never get to see him again. Though he's still my first crush, not thinking about him for now will do me a lot of good. For now, I need to get it together, and go to work. I have to know the status of things.

I walked into Mr. Graham's office, which was always open.

"Hello, Mr. Graham, I apologize for not being around these past few weeks.

"Mr. Gael, you're finally here! Please do take a seat," Mr. Graham said with a bright face, which made me wonder why he had such an expression.

"How are you feeling now?" He asked with so much interest.

"Huh?" Just then, I recalled, I was told back at the hospital by Turstin that I didn't have to worry about my work.

Could it be that-?

"Gael, when I heard you had an accident, you have no idea just how terrible I felt."

" Sorry for making you worried, Mr. Graham."

"It's no bother. I'm happy to know that you're in good shape now. Though, I would like you to get more rest."

I instantly went wide in shock. I couldn't believe what I had just heard from Mr. Graham.

"Sir, I'm really okay now, and I'd really like to continue my work."

"I understand you, Gael, you've always been a child who's up and doing. I appreciate you for this, but you see, I learned you had a rare opportunity."

"What do you mean, Mr. Graham?" I asked, confused.

Mr. Graham looked around as if someone were spying on them.

"I'm talking about Mr. Turstin. We both know what happened. And I assure you that I didn't let the others find out."

"Mr. Graham, I still don't think I understand where you're coming from.

"Okay, okay, I understand your confusion. What I'm trying to say is, Mr. Turstin contacted me while you were at the hospital to tell me what actually happened. Gael, you have no idea just how delighted I was."

I can't believe that was what really happened. Turstin called him personally? This man was known to be a man who hated reports about him, whether positively or negatively.

It's baffling to know that he actually contacted my boss personally to tell him exactly what happened to me.

"Not only that, Gael, he also told me that he was going to let you do an exclusive interview with him soon."

I gasped in utter shock. No, he didn't say that. My boss must have heard wrongly.

"But sir, do you believe this Turstin guy would let us interview him? I mean, we both know about his records with the press. He doesn't like to be interviewed."

"Of course I knew about that. More reason why I found it confusing at first. But then, after his explanations, I discovered that he actually meant what he said. So, who am I to refuse?"

"So...are you saying you want me to do the interview?" I was asking because there are a lot of my colleagues who were way higher than me in status who wish to pull in such a big catch.

"I know what you're thinking now, Gael. Maybe I never would have let you go since there are others who I could actually provide this opportunity to, but you see, he strictly requested that it's you he wanted to perform the interview and no one else."

I froze instantly. At first, when he told me he was going to give me an opportunity to get an exclusive from him, I never actually took him seriously, but now that the boss has mentioned it, it seemed this Turstin of a man was way more than I had imagined him to be.

There's no way I would say he was smitten by me because he doesn't look like someone who would be that interested in a man. Occasionally, he's cold and sometimes he's warm. In other cases, he can be sweet and, at the same time, seem like he is made from vinegar.

I wish I could tell what his personality truly was. But the more I try to think of it, the more confused I get.

"Gael, this is a great opportunity, if you ask me."

"Mr. Graham, I know this is a great opportunity, but I do have other projects at hand. I'm afraid that if I take this exclusive interview, it might disrupt my projects."

"Relax, Gael, I gave you those projects to work on, and now I'm telling you to suspend all other projects and focus on this project."

I blinked at Mr. Graham. It baffles me to know the length Mr. Graham was willing to go just to get an exclusive with Turstin.

"Sure, it's a good idea to put all other projects on hold? I mean, these projects are important, and they need my utmost dedication."

"Gael, have you any idea who Turstin is?" My heart skipped, how can I not know? He is my dream man. The first man I fell in love with, but that's a secret I cannot share with my boss.

"Yes, I do. He's quite a popular celebrity."

"Then I'm afraid you don't know him well enough. He's not quite popular, he's the heart of every celebrity you can ever think of. You have no idea just how many media companies wish to see his very shadow."

My God, I had no idea Turstin was this popular. My admiration for him wasn't because he was a celebrity, but because he was handsome and there was this unexplainable attraction I felt towards him which pulled me to him greatly.

"Gael, this is vital to our company and it will also boost your promotion. Do not miss it!"
