Chapter 2 The Puzzling Question

"We will have to ask Selenne how that is possible." says Ryan to his girls.

"Hello my children" says Selenne.

"Hello mother" says Bella, Bridge, and Ryan together. "We have come to ask you a rather puzzling question." "Okay my children ask your question and I will see if its puzzling or not." says Selenne. "How can we be four supernatural creatures in one body?" the girls ask. "Well my children that is not puzzling at all your mom's mom is a witch and her father is a vampire. That is how come your mom is a witch and vampire. Your father is Lycan and Wolf and when they found out that they were fated mated and got pregnant they knew it was a possibility that their children could become all four combined. Is that an easier answer for you to understand?" asks Selenne?

"We still do not really understand but its somewhat easier to believe." says the girls.

"Now I have a question for you" says Ryan. "Why did my Luna decide that it was in the best interest of our girls to give them up without letting me meet them first and see them?" asks Ryan. "Well your Luna first had a vision when she found out that she was expecting twin girls that they would be in immediate danger until they hit age and got their wolves. Also she saw that someone bad and evil wanted them for their powers. Yes girls I know that you are confused about why you can shift back from wolf to human form with your clothes on and I will tell you why you are able to do that. As you two are fraternal twins you also are goddesses and that is why you can shift like that. Ryan this is why your Luna did what she did she knew what they were ment to turn into and she didnt want anyone to use evil magic on them and turn them evil, right now they are pure and good and perfect. Of you and your Luna had kept them you wouldnt have been able to protect them or keep them safe that is why your Luna did what she did." "Is our mother still alive?" the girls ask. "Unfortunately girls your mother passed when you were with your human families for three years. She wanted to see you but she couldnt risk that the someone she was trying to keep you safe from would be watching her and she could not take the risk that they would follow and find you. Unfortunately she died of a broken heart but I kept your father alive and mended his wolf so that he would still be here when you girls returned to him." said Selenne.

After the three of them came out of the dreamscape together Ryan looked pointedly at his men and mindlinked the whole pack My children have come home to us. We are going to be throwing them a coming of age party. You will send invites to every pack in the United States and over seas to be here this weekend for this monumental party. Oh and you will not say a word about what they are to anyone if my daughters find their mates then and only then will it be their responsibility to tell their mates that they are goddesses sent to live amongst us and to help us in our time of need. Is that perfectly clear.

Yes alpha the whole pack said. " Now my darling children lets get the pack seamstress in here to get you measurements. I will even leave while she is here you may use my office." said Ryan. "Father what colors will she put together for us for our dress?" They asked him worriedly. "I was thinking daughters that she could go off the colors of your eyes and hair to design something spectacularly unique just like you! exclaims Ryan with a hint of sadness in his eyes. The sadness being from the fact that he had to miss out on first words steps first everything. Bridge and Bella seemed to understand and wrap their father into one gigantic hug that they never wanted to release.

Seamstress you can come in now says Ryan through the mind link. When she enters the girls bedroom she sees Bridge's red and magenta hair color. She the looks at Bella and sees Bella's silvery green hair and has a sudden idea.

"For Bridget I am going to make her a corset strapless ball gown with fabric that is red and magenta but i also want to make sure that it has a hoop in it for it to stand on its own.

"For Bella I want to make her a mermaid type gown that is silver and green and I want to make it a halter top type gown. Oh these dresses are going to look lovely on the both of you. Alpha when do I need to have them completed by?"

"The dresses need to be completed by Friday and they also need to fit my girls perfectly." said Alpha Ryan.

"Yes alpha the dresses will be ready by then I will just have to come back in two days for fittings and to see if the girls want anything special added to their dresses." says Stephanie. "Alright girls I will need one of you at a time to go into the spare bedroom strip down to absolutely nothing and put your arms out to the side. Who wants to go first?" Bridge steps up and says "I will."

Bridget goes into the office and strips to her birthday suit and calls out "I'm ready ma'am." Stephanie walks in and says "My name is Stephanie you can call me Steph or Stephanie which ever you would prefer. Ok so arms out head up and stand up nice and tall and straight too. Its going to take me a little bit of time to get your measurements."

After about half an hour Stephanie looks at Bridget and says "Okay Bridget I'm all done with your measurements." Bridget looks at Stephanie and says "Steph you can call me Bridge, Bella nicknamed me that because when we were younger she would have a hard time saying Bridget and the nickname stuck." Stephanie looks confused and asks " Who is Bella?" Bridge explains "Bella is Issabella's nickname I decided it would be more practical to name her that seeing as how she shortened my name and I fell in love with the fact that her actual name had Bella in it so that is how we got our nicknames."

"Bridget can you send your sister in for her measurements?" Stephanie asked inquisitively. Bridget sends in Issabella for her measurements. "Arms straight out at your sides do not put them down keep them in the air so I can get every measurement I need for your dress please Issabella." states Stephanie. "You can call me Bella no need to use my full name. What is your name if I may ask" states Bella. "My name is Stephanie." "Can I call you Steph" inquires Bella. "Yes you may. I am so happy that you girls found your way to your father. He seems so much happier with you here. He was broken for some time he couldnt even get out of his room most days. Since you girls showed up I have noticed a major change in him. For that the whole pack owes you a debt." says Steph with fierce determination.

The girls are alone with each other and curious to get to know the pack. They are still slightly confused as to why they were left with their human parents. They dont want to bother Selenne anymore tonight.

Dreamscape

"How did we get here?" the girls question each other. "I brought you here my darling children. We have somethings to talk about. I know what your questions are and you will have your answers. Although you will not be here long I just want to give you answers. First I have already explained that your mother dropped you off with the humans to keep you safe and secure. She wanted you to be able to have your childhood without having to cover you both in protection spells. If she would have brought you both up you would have had multiple layers of protection spells on you. She would have had to put you under one and her mother and her mother's mother would have all had to put them on you to keep you safe. She didn't want that so she came to me and asked me how to keep you girls safe." Selenne answers their questions in one breath of air. She didn't want to girls feeling insecure or even worse scared. "Remember when I said that you girls are goddesses?" Selenne asks. "Yes mother." the girls reply. "That is because I am your actual mother I birthed you both right here in this realm. I knew that the wolf community needed protection but that I also could not do it all the time. It was in that moment that I picked the two people that I knew would be able to protect you." "Wait so we are not even from that realm?" the girls ask confused. "Of course you are my darlings. You were born twice because I gave you life here, then put your souls in the woman who gave birth to you on that realm. You are from both realms you are goddesses meant to walk between both realms. I have another small thing to tell you both. When I realized that I had to send you to live with the wolves and humans I also made plans for whom I wanted to mate you girls with. My will is already done and I will give you a bit of information about your mates. Bridget you will have an elf and a dragon as your mates. Bella you will have a wizard and a fae as your mates. Selenne states. "Wait what mother two mate to both of us. Did you decide that before we were born in that realm or after?" the girls ask surprised.

"That was decided the day that I had the two of you. I decided then that you girls after you hit a certain age here would go down to live amongst other supernatural creatures that I look after." "Okay mother now that we know are we allowed to go back to our other realm now?" the girls question inquisitively.

When the girls come to Ryan looks confused. The girls know that they need to explain what happened the following is a conversation between them and their father.

"What happened my daughters?" Ryan asked confused. "Well we knew that we needed some more answers but we didnt want to bother Selenne. She knew we needed answers and that we didnt want to bother her. She pulled us into the dreamscape and told us that the reason that we are goddesses is because she birthed us in her realm, then waited til we became a certain age and at that point looked for the perfect couple to give us to. She chose you and mom, she said that we were put here to protect all of her children. Then told us that we each have two, two mates." the girls informed their father.
