Chapter 3 Home

The woman in front of me turned to look at me when I grunted. She had shoulder-length black hair that was completely black. The hair has green streaks running through it. She had dark eyes. She had a piercing face that would make you want to hide. Her olive skin was smooth and radiant. She had her hands on her hips and was petite. 'I'm allergic to idiocy,' said the blouse she was sporting. The phrase caused a smile to strain at my lips.

"The store is closed." As she wiped the counter, she exclaimed.

"Yeah. I saw." I swayed. "You are opening up soon, right?"

"In 30 minutes." The trash bag quickly landed on the tray behind her as she threw it away.

"Oh," I said. "I'm starving to death."

In response to my sentence, she grinned and motioned for me to go to the glass counter, where all the food was located.

What would you like?

"Oi! Where is the 'yo momma' fat joke? From the kitchen, a voice rang out.

Don't talk, Dan! We have a client. The woman cried out. I laughed at the circumstances.

She swung around and gave me a quick look. "Sorry. Dan is that. By the way, my name is Sharon, and I am the smartest person alive.

I chuckled and said, "I'm Olivia." I'd like some of those chocolates and some doughnuts."

Okay, Olivia. She responded, and I grinned at the amicable moniker she used to refer to me. I already liked her. Since the last time I had a true friend, a very long time has passed. I'm done. Her pleasant act caused a small hole in my chest to fill up.

She put two donuts on the table and handed me a bag of chocolates. I thanked her and sat down in the window-side corner. In front of me, she slid into the seat.

"You're not originally from here, are you?" When she questioned, I shook my head and said, "No."

The question "How do you know?"

"The locals are quite strange. You are timid.

"I'm not shy," I said. I'm simply keeping my quirkiness to myself until I know you can handle it.

She grinned, and I laughed. "So, what are you doing here?" It was her.

I felt obliged to tell her everything for some reason, so I did. I explained to her how I got out of my wedding, how I met Alex, and how I got here. The entire story was heard by her.

He seems to be a good man. She declared, "Good guys are naughty in bed.

The shocking sentence nearly made me wheeze. "Oh," I said.

However, let me caution you first. She spoke. The malls of boys A few hours of fun are followed by boredom. They resemble lava lights as well. Not particularly bright, but entertaining to look at. I chuckled as I bit into my doughnut.

"Here. My number is that. If you ever need donuts, call me. I enjoy you. Sharon passed me a card with her name and phone number.

"Sure." She smiled and nodded in response to my response before turning the "close" sign into an "open" sign and leaving. She did so as a tall, attractive man with blonde hair and green eyes walked in the direction of the bakery. Sharon hastily turned the sign to "close" as her eyes slightly widened.

The man pushed open the door and went inside nonetheless. He had a bunch of white orchids in his hand.

"Sharon. I'm very sorry.

"Get out of here, you snorting pig-eyed maggot-pie!"

"Hear me out. Take these flowers, please. You know, you ought to be a little nicer.

"Oh. I apologise. I had no idea you were an authority on my life and how I ought to live it. Please continue as I take notes. Sharon reacted fiercely before spinning around, whacking her hair on his face (which I think was on purpose).

"Hear me out. I'm making an effort. The most romantic thing I have is this.

"No. The second-most romantic thing you've ever done is this. She spoke. That was so fucking romantic, Noah, when I caught you shoving your dick up that bimbo's ass.

"I wasn't making clear decisions. Please join me on my date. He spoke.

I am in a relationship. She responded and turned to leave, but I could tell she was lying. Yes, that boy was able to tell as well.

And I have a maths test the next day. He retorted rudely, walking alongside her.

She seemed really angry as she turned around. "And I have a tampon inside my vagina!"

The man's cheeks turned scarlet, and his eyes enlarged. Why did you tell me that, exactly?

"I believed we were enumerating things I value over you." She responded by raising her hands. The man let out a loud sigh.

"I apologise. I'm trying, I promise. I'm attempting to improve the situation by"

"No. Everything is only getting worse because of your pathetic asses. Up until now, everything was fine. Her chest heaved violently as she spat.

Noah seems to have recently lost everything in the world. He appeared to be in such dismay, and pain could be seen in his eyes. He sighed and set the bouquet down on a table before leaving the shop. There was a brief period of silence. Sharon was only looking at the glass door when she started crying.

I immediately ran to her side and gently placed her on the seat while holding her. She quickly brushed away her tears before turning to face me.

It's alright. I'm good. Regards, Olivia. I grinned at her as she muttered.

I said, "Tell me if I need to make his death appear to be an accident," and she laughed while wiping away her tears.

I realised right then and there that I now have someone I can call a friend.
